Brooklynsouth:You are just another Biafra she-goat. I will tell you the locations of those places in the pix. The first one is located at Iyangaku, the second is the skyline of the oluyole gra area, the third one should be to anybody coz it's the CBD skyline; anyone can easily identify the Cocoa house skyscaper. The fourth picture is of buildings in Jericho gra. Now what is a Biafran doing at Ibadan? ? Shouldn't be at Onitsha selling a abacha instead? ![]() |
BuddahMonk:You have obviously just finished smoking your gbana (weed) so I won't dignify you with the sort of exchange you seek. NEXT!

FKO81:Look, we can argue this till tomorrow, but it won't change the glaring point here. There's a reason why the SE region is the most densely populated and it's coz of space/land-constraints. That much is an open secret. If your governments in the region don't diligently manage the remaining scarce land in the region, they will have to contend with some serious crises within the next two generations, unless many more migrate. Even when you talk of concentration of multi-storey buidings in Anambra in particular, Onitsha readily comes to mind. But the number of those high-rises in Onitsha city are nothing compared to what obtains all over Lagos state in general when you consider all those jakande and the countless housing projects that litter the state, you can't even compare pls. Perhaps you've not been around much of Lag hence why you're talking like this. I am not disputing that generally you all have more multi-storey residential buidings than probably most other parts of the country, the point here is the WHY, and the reason is obvious to any objective mind. It's a no-brainer really, and there's no point arguing. |
FKO81:The guy is right FKO81. Let's take sentiments out of it. It's is an unofficial policy in that region to build multi-storey buldings due to the land constraints: #FACT. Hence the high cost of land. Infact, go to the Agric section of this board, while other regions like the SW are selling acres and hectares of land for as low as 20k for farming purposes, SE brethren are lamenting that they can't even get a single plot for 300k. That right there is a pointer. Look, it's an understandable policy which I commend too, but must you people illogically beat chest about everything? ? |
BuddahMonk:Look, I refuse to waste my MB on your punk a$$ coz you're obviously a jobless e-tout who spends the best of his times here on Nairaland seeking ego-trips over unnecessary tribal altercations. Drop the joint (weed) for once, get a real job so you can't quit living your mom, get married, and start living responsibly for a change coz at this rate you're wasting your life while the rest of us are moving ahead in life. Smh again. |
BuddahMonk:I repeat that you're an ignorant foo.l who tries too hard to sound intelligent yet end up exposing your village mentality. Please, your kinsmen are known globe-trotters, emulate them for a change and gain some much-needed exposure. You can flash that picture a million times, and it won't change the fact that you remain an ignoramus. The same Ibadan that accomdates those brown-roof has its high-brow areas and estates, and more than enough land-mass accomodating more modern architecture like the ones attached. You are just too stvpid for comfort. Smh.
|
BuddahMonk:Guy, you must really think you are relating with your fellow ignoramus kinsmen when you make these sort of stupid assertions. Travel more please, possibly to other parts of the world and witness how other civilized people live, rather than come here spitting BS and acting a fool. The fact will always remain that the high incidence of multi-storey buildings in SE is no thanks to land-constaint. Lagos is a classic example in this respect. There are countless multi-storey estates in Lag than in any SE state and for obvious and justifiable reasons too. You're just a glorified villager. Your lack of intellectual depth and exposure betrays your ignorance. Smh. |
Yinmu.Anyone that puts any SE state ahead of Lagos in this regard is living in a fool's paradise. Like someone else already stated, it is a no-brainer that land constraints are responsible for this SE preference for multiple storey buildings. #FACT. For decades now the Igbos have RIGHTLY projected that if careful and proper planning isn't effected, they would quickly run out of land even for real-estate purposes, not to talk of farming, owing to the devastating combo of extremely high population density and inadequate land-mass to accommodate them all. As we speak land is already very expensive due to scarcity in those parts. It's also part of the reason why they migrate out of their region more than any other tribe -- the land simply cannot accommodate them all, lest they out-compete and cannibalize themselves to oblivion. No amount of chest-beating can deny these simple facts. |

E mean say "Buhari kerosene" don reach dat side niyen. ![]() |
vayne:Nah. Leave matter for Mathias. It is the height of cowardice for any general to abandon his troops in the heat of battle Ojukwu was a sorry and complete disgrace. He returned to Nigeria a defeated and humbled man, thanks to the amnesty granted him by the same FG he rebelled against. ![]() |
vayne:And then he ran off to the Ivory Coast leaving you all at the mercy of the Nigerian Army? ? |
chukwudi44:Grandpa don't worry, na turn by turn. Na Saraki turn today. E fit be Fashola own 2morrow. But really, why do you love Saraki so much? If I didn't know better I'd think you're a faggit. ![]() |
He should honourably resign as Senate President and immediately initiate a plea bargain arrangement with the FG to return all of the loot he's stolen from Societe Generale and the Kwara people. And lastly, he should plead for the forgiveness of Kwarans. ![]() |
Exactly! Shouting "Saraki, Ole!" and stoning him is not equal to an attack. Saraki, don't mind these people abeg. . We have all seen the video wherein kwarans called you a thief and stoned you, but that still doesn't amount to an attack now, or does it? They were merely showing you love in a different way than you are normally used to. Better start getting used to it. ![]() |

StOla:E don enter the dock . They had to force him though. |
He has finally agreed to enter the dock. Just saw it on Channels Tv. He pleaded not guilty. ![]() |
I wonder why people still take them seriously, especially since their fake Soyinka igbo bashing story scandal. I classify them as junk news merchants. |
Dino and the gang must be carefully "studying" the situation for now. They have to be careful in their utterance lest they come across as supporting Saraki's ill-adviced decision to shun the tribunal today. |
januzaj:Chujwudi44 better be placed on suicide watch o, before he hangs. |
Aareonakakanfo:Lol. You are funny. Some people prefer to dominate the trading sector while others aim higher and dominate the real sectors and don't even make noise about it. ![]() |
