@bily.apology. whether MTN or starcomms, if your location is well covered, you got no problem. on the the price side, starcomms is more affordable. their EVDO works! abeg support this nigerian company. |
the n97 is a functional multimedia business phone. the iphone is a toy compared to the n97. you know, the undiscerning american consumers will buy cow dung as long as it's wrapped in macdonald's takeaway pack. this phone is way better than those useless so called netbooks(well for children, no problem) |
@hayprof.

@ Ex. i wish you could drop a direct link to getting the windows xp v.6 |

@Ex. i will take that Gartner report with a pinch of salt. no doubt the iphone is a masterpiece both in design and in the functionality and capability of it's new OS. the iphone is stunning success considering the huge chunk of contribution it channels into Apple profit purse and the remarkable number of consumer uptake. but i am afraid this success is confined to the boundaries the USA. outside the US, the iphone uptake has been very disappointng. i attribute the success of the iphone in the US to : the marketing prowess of Apple (yes apple created so much hype and suspense before the launch), the design appeal ( wow , cool factor) to consumers and the operator subsidy that crashed the price below $200. the OS has very little to do with this. the iphone came out with a design the americans find very irresistible, fashionable and trendy just as they considered the fold thin moto razr a must have. the razr held the number one spot for a very long time. why is this same phone not a hot sell in europe or even in nigeria? and what OS powered the phone? was it any superior to symbian, windows mobile or the palm OS? or was it any richer in user functions than the other high end models from nokia, samsung or LG?. in my opinion there is no such thing as a global phone. consumer appeal is regionalised. nokia failed in japan not because the symbian os is weak or nokia phones lack design appeal, the geeky japanese just don't find them adaptabe to the way they have come to use cellphones, more than 80% of the smartphones offered by the dominant operator,ntt docomo, are symbian powered. the same rational applies to the koreans. apple may not admit it , but the iphone is a failure in these two markets. nokia models will continue to dominate the EMEA markets. simple reason: the consumers like them like that. |
it's a shame that mult-links has not updated its website in the last 4 years! |
bily:do you understand english? read my post again. and shut up. don't say that about MTN again. |
like yours, @hayprof. |
@bily. for your purpose MTN, starcomms are good. MTN is consistent and offers better and reliable connection speed thru out the day. |
lynxnoon:i intentionally used the direct link. network disconnection caused the failure. |
here's 1x transfer rate.
|
i was trying to download a free antivirius. didn't beliveve the transfer rate i saw. i had to disconnect , reconnect and try again to sure it wasn't a burst.
