swift has 802.16e wimax network like mobitel and recently DOPC. well current ITU definitions embrace it as 4G

Does anyone know the price range here in nigeria? I know in the US it goes for about $200.

i have an Amazon.com account. i have been buying stuff like hard-copy books, shirts and CDs. but this they don't ship to Nigeria. and you know i have Nigerian bank issued debit mastercard.

There should be e book readers at the major electronic shops in Lagos. At the palms, pc outlet, etc. I will probably check the Sony shops in V/I, Lekki and Ikeja.

it can be used anywhere. actually you can manually load your ebooks from your PC on to the reader. you don't have to buy anything from amazon. just for reading books.

anyone here sells this ebook reader?  or where i can get it in lagos. i need it badly and fast for xmas gift. thanks.

all you guys predicting doom for RIM make me laugh. what's wrong with a blackberry? blackberries do what a phone should do, and perfectly well : communication. Steve Jobs, Gates, Eric Schmidt, Sergey Brin and co use blackberries. blackberries are way better that all those crippled symbian toys nokia calls "smartphones" .

i have been impressed with MTN 3G's service lately. videos stream smoothly, connection stays for the duration you're connected and speed is really good. mainone submarine cable is really the main thing!

In Abuja MTN rules my world. Its miles away from Glo. Glo is all talk (adverts) no show.

Glo sucks BIG time. The speeds i get from MTN are unbelievable sometimes. Just a couple of months back MTN was crap. I guess main one did the trick.

glo's service is generally bad in PH now, internet or voice.

starcomms is sh1t. throwing my modem away. getting on main one has actually worsened their service.
