I remember Intercelluar used to configure CDMA handsets for its customer regardless of where you got it.

@kal. Your  card is a CDMA modem,  you can't configure it for use on a GSM network: there's no provision for SIM card. Secondly it's technically possible to use it on starcomms, all it would take is to give you  a number, and have your  modem  provisioned. But,  i doubt if the guys at starcomms would want to go through the stress. They would rather make you buy one of their modems.

MTN is ok. Both gprs and 3.5G, infact gprs connection seems to have improved. Starcomms EVDO was a little erratic, connection slower than usual.

i really don't see anything attractive about their package. all this excitement is just because it's a new network. no tarriff advantage.

where are those who said etisalat will launch 3G on roll out?

a new car, is a new car. whether kia, hyuandai or chevy. i use a kia rio, 2years on, no mechanic has seen what's under my hood. just change my oil and move!

my starcomms is down. the only site i seem to browse well now is nairaland, on google chrome.

starcomms 1x is not that bad. it has improved.

a friend got me this PLEXUS BLUETOOTH DONGLE, class 1[covers 20m radius]. it's also plug and play, though there's an installation CD. you might not need it sha.
