please can someone clear me on this, I used mtn f@stlink usb mini modem (yellow type) from mtn. the older version with gprs/edge type. Now, can i use same usb modem for 3.5g/hsdpa? and what speed is edge itself? is it up to 3.5g or hsdpa equivalent? thanks.

MTN said something about EDGE, but right now you might not get EDGE in your area. if your modem does not support 3G, then you are left with gprs

visaphone has evdo in lagos and abuja. why is it taking these cdma operators so long to provide wider evdo coverage? what's really holding them back?

today i noticed the gprs signal, launched my browser to their home page but before  the page finished loading my credit disappeared.
signal is unstable at my house, sometimes i get a blank like this:

@hayprof. my starcomms is not performing up to expectations these days. MTN 3.5G to the rescue.

uninstal the software. get one these plug and play bluetooth dongles. vista has an inbuilt bluetooth driver or software, so you don't need additional software. check this link below:

i redeemed my sim two days ago[monday]. started using yesterday up until 9pm, then suddenly no more network signal anywhere.

no etisalat grps or EDGE in PH yet.

i tried the iboost client, didn't work for me. infact it slowed my connection speed.

no body don mention infobaba?

hayprof, thank you again, for giving me the hotfix link for my sierra wireless 580 aircard when i installed vista SP1. the card didn't work in SP1, the hotfix, solved the problem.
