Funny enough, I have a friend that reacts badly to sachet water. She only drinks NestlΓ© bottled water.

I'm hearing that even the Saudi deal didn't work out.

So the guy would remain on the bench for a whole season. Money he no see, match he no play.

Honestly, hard work would take you to the top, but it takes good character to sustain you there. Osimhen is too arrogant for my liking.

Easy tiger, relax. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The problem with Osimhen is that he's so proud and full of himself.

It's his pride that made it impossible for him to have any top European club bidding for him.

Imagine asking for Β£500k. He wants to become the highest paid player in the EPL. Aside winning the golden ball last 2 seasons in Napoli what has he achieved?

Napoli didn't even make it to conference premier this season cos they finished so low last season. If he wants to pursue money, na him sabi. It's his life.

@ the bolded. Oh well, it's his choice, good or bad and he'd be the only to bear the consequences of his actions, favourable or not.

It's not hussle it's just the poverty African mentality.

Most of them forget that if they perform well in a good club in Europe, companies can pay them to become their brand ambassador. And the pay they'll get from that deal along with their weekly income would supercede whatever they were hoping to get in Saudi.

Personally, I feel Arab clubs is best for retirement and not at the peak of one's career.

Our players are really short sighted and not thinking of the long term benefits.

At just 24 or there about, he's going into oblivion. Na wa o.

Left for me, I would have advised him to accept a more reduced wage and come to Chelsea. That Β£500k per week he was asking for was sheer greed on his part. Cos even haaland and Salah who have consistently maintained their scoring talents for more than 4 seasons don't even earn up to that.

Saudi Arabia is for players who have already made their mark and are looking for a peaceful retirement. Not someone at the peak of his career.

His agent who advised him to take this deal is only after his cut and nothing more. In as much as money is good, you cannot get international recognition in the world of football by just money. You need a trailer load of silverware. That's why people like Messi, Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane...etc. Would always be respected wherever they go. It shouldn't just be about the money.

Your points are valid, Naz.

It appears that footballers' focus these days are their earnings and not the mastery of the game itself.

Let alone the East. Southern nko?
My logical half is from Zimbo. His own mother (may her soul rest in eternal peace) was on her 3rd marriage by the time of her death. In her defence, the 2nd husband left her a widow. His full sister (my SIL) divorced her husband and remarried the following year. At first I thought she'd just stay focused on her kids and try to heal and all that-- For where? One minute I'm talking to a divorced woman, the next minute someone is talking about wedding plans. She didn't even blink. Did it sans emotions. A true redpiller that one.cheesy

Kenyan women do divorce but she can put up a fight if she believes you're worth it. God help you if she believes you have no usefulness -- one of you will pack and go. grin We generally don't carry marriage on our heads because the focus is on who you marry rather than the marriage in itself. Having said that, we do have a few instances of girls who get married purely for validation or pressure from family, church and friends, and I notice it's more prevalent among extremely religious folks (both Christian and Muslim) and upcountry folks.

Oh wow.

Mama nor send anybody oh. grin grin She's living her best life.

Lmao no. She's a pinkpiller. A great one I Stan. cheesy

I think I like the ideology of not carrying marriage on the head. And truly, the focus should be on who you marry cos many of them are mad.

Certainly, there'd be those ones that get married because of validation and pressure from family/friends. God help them make them nor jam bad partners.

This has raised the question: Is VeryDarkMan the most influential activist in Nigeria right now?

Oh please!

The word "Activist" has really been abused and misused in recent times and Nigerians give bottom barrel people a ride to stardom.

Fake statistics.
Ain't no way Zimbabwe's divorce rate is 0.07% and Kenya's 0.06%.

It's not strange to find Zimbabweans in particular who've been in 2 or 3 marriages before the age of 45.

Oh wow. This is interesting.

It absolutely checks out.

That one is always dropping disturbing, almost psychotic comments I always skip over.

It's funny the way they see their own anger, bitterness and warped worldview as absolutely justifiable, yet women hating them/men, some of who have experienced sexual abuse, are held responsible for their own bitterness.

I know right.

True sisters!

First time I'm seeing female genuinely helping out the other.

The females (5 sisters) in my family tear one another down viciously, even targeting their children.

Na as I go escape, cut my mama off na im be my plan!

I've learnt a lesson I probably won't be able to learn from nollywood - avoid marrying into a family of only females.

Ps: that lady might end up fucccking her elder sister's(benefactor) husband.

Lol.

Magnoliaa.

Here you have another troll that keeps attacking women but the women in his family aren't even better.

Yet, him and his goons come and lie to us that the women in their family are the best thing after sliced bread. Or bash women.

Anytime you see them say nonsense, you suppose know say most na family problem. wink

Charity begins at home indeed.
