first thing first. pat didn't say the earthquake was a punishment from God. he referred to a historical event and commented why haiti is cursed. the holy bible says stand boldly and that's what pat did. pat said what needed to be said (2 Chronicles 7:14). when the haitians devil worshippers turn from their wicked ways God will heal the land.

to those wondering why the believers died with the non believers: - many times those who have a relationship with God suffer for the action of the wicked folks (I am sure you have thought the same of your life sometimes when nothing seems to be going right. . .right? ) however, what we fail to realize as humans is that death is more serious to us than it is to God. the Lord God knows what is on the other side for the believers but to us who are left behind, death is very painful and heart broken.

God could have stopped the earthquake because He is in control but like i said before God allows certain things to happen. He is a forgiving God, a jealous God and a God of compassion BUT He is also capable of judging the believers and the non believers. The people of haiti (not all) are very dark hearted (deep deep into voodoo and witchcraft). . . more than most african countries if not all. The earthquake is an eye opener for them. They need Jesus just like you and me and they need it ASAP.

BTW, pat and his organizations have donated money and are in haiti with relief and help for the suffering. How many of us have donated?

pat is 100% correct.

to us pat timing was not right because it doesn't sound good to the world (people grieving) but to God it's the right time. i think God use pat as His avenue to get the world's attention.  voodoo, sorcery, witchcraft and devil worship is very strong in haiti.  in fact president aristide declared voodoo the official religion of haiti and the majority of haitians see voodoo as ominous and through difficult times they practice black magic instead of praying to God.
i think God let things happend to bring people to repentance.  the majority of haitians practice voodooism and yes the country is cursed.

Christmas Story Of Jesus - Churches (Traditional) teaching verses God truth (The Bible)

1) Let's look at this verse: Does it say three wise men?

"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. Saying where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." Matt 2:1-2

The Bible itself does not specify the number of wise men visited Jesus Christ, so why do we Christians say three (3) wise men rather than the wise men? Is it because only three wise men gave gifts (gold, myrrh and incense)?

2: House or stable?

"And when they were come into the house they saw the young child with Mary his mother and fell down and worshipped him and when they had opened their treasures, they presented to him gifts; gold and frankincense and myrrh." 2:1

Why do Christians say the wise men visited Christ on the night of his birth. Matthew Chapter 2 vs 11 clearly say the wise men visited and worshipped Christ in a house where Mary and Jesus were staying. Also, Matthew chapter 2 depicts Christ as a young child and not a "babe"

Please, let's correct the errors associated with Christmas especially those Christmas plays (inaccurate teachings) at church.

the bible is "confusing" to some because we christians are not sure whether or not to follow the old or the new testament. god sent jesus and made a new covenant. mine you, i am not saying the old testament is obsolete or irrelevant (it is still necessary for us to use as examples); it's more like we have a better deal (new testament) for us.

It is never new that it is now a custom in our churches to give offering in every single service. I 'm not against the offering cos most churches gives more than five times in every single service.
