One alarming garri woman did it to me

But some people sha, wetin make her dey drag her 2kids dey run, say make you no infect them with ttc or what, oshisko rasko. You even try as you answer am, if na me I no go even do as if I hear am.... Nansense

So yesterday my meat seller wanted to save my name on his phone, and he said "Mummy kini ni ki n fi save e"... meaning "Mummy what should I save with it". I tried not to feel so bad because he truly dint know that I dint have any yet....
My God in heaven, pls take these reproach from our lives, restore the years the locusts have stolen, wipe our tears, and fill our lives with laughter and joy so great. All these and many more I pray IJN.

Hello MamaHeaven. That's exactly where I was 2years ago. All test showed everything was OK, but I knew something was outtaa place. I suspected blocked tubes theen but I couldn't have an hsg at that time because of money constraint. Lonng story short, II eventually had an HSG last year and it confirmed my suspicions (right tubal blockage). So, I would advice you go for hsg. Babydust to you

Sometimes ttc is often more of a spiritual battle than physical. Pls take the battle to God in prayers, have faith, and let's watch Him do His miracles. Baby dust to you.

Good morning fruitful mamas and congratulations to all the mamas that have gotten their BFP so far. I've been on ghost mode for sometime after I was wrongly diagnosed for ectopic pregnancy. God used some mamas on this platform to help me pull through that situation successfully without any surgery (because I miscarried as a result of blighted ovum and not ectopic).

i'm not so sure about this, i had a Dr who used to administer both trado and engliish toDH and i in our first year of TTC. my quarell with him was that he was never interested in explaining stuffs to me and curiosity no gri me just dey take drugs/ tests without knowing what they were for or interpretation of the tests. Funny enough, i have people that swear by the man's combo of trado and english helped them. i got my first official BFP like two months after stopping wiv him.

so i guess its not so much about mixing trado and english, its about ensuring that the trado and english do not have the same function. eg, d trado might be to correct irregular period while the english will be for ovulation.

Pls where is this doctor. Can I get his contact pls?

If its to monitor ovulation, then it's advisable you start tracking from day 10, buh if it's just for scanning purpose, then I think it can be done on any day of the cycle as except when u on your period.
I can vouch for funbell at dikkat in ring road, but I dunno what their prices are like presently.

There is a silent rave of discrimination against TTC couples. The society has made it a duty to monitor every newly wed and somewhat question why they are without a child after, lets say, 1 year after marriage. We too dey poke our noses everywhere.

The most attacked is the female gender, who is often at the receiving end of family, friends, colleagues and enemies. Must everyone plan to have children immediately after marriage A friend decided with his wife to stay off child bearing until after two years, for personal reasons.

We really need to mind our business in this country/continent, and if you really care and want to show concern/solidarity, there are ways to do it, without appearing like a wolf in sheep's clothing. In fact, personally, i prefer people not discussing the issue with me, except i invite you myself.

On a positive note...
We have been TTCing for about 16-17months now without result. Yesterday, we found out we are preggers, 5 weeks+. We couldn't go through the uncertainty of urine testing, so we went for blood straight; even that was done with so much anxiety/fear. Only those going through sub-fertility will understand the disappointment they go through every month, every freaking month!!!

May God answer our prayers. If you're TTCing without result, trust me, i understand perfectly what you are going through. God is the maker of babies, cos in this journey, i have realised, doctors have got no answer for infertility, they just guess/try, while draining their patients' pockets.

If you got pregnant with ease, you need to do serious thanksgiving, because you've got no idea what emotional, psychological stress you just avoided. And trust me, it has nothing to do with your virginity or how well you serve God, lets just say it's the favour of God.

We bless the Lord for a new dawn in my family.

Morning people, happy Sunday. So,I av official started my hsptl runs this year . Went to parkland on Friday, gynea had gone home. Went back yesterday, d delay was not encouraging. We got there around past4, we didn't leave until past 10, DH was just fuming.
Mehn, ttc journey is not cheap, anybody on a budget should not go near Parklande o. Odnari family card-10K, monthly consultation_14K, small drugs(m2tone and infection drugs)-28K.
The one dt is baffling me is d cost of d tests. Hormonal profiling-30K, thyroid test-15K, hsg-40k!!!!!. When I asked if i could do my tests outside jejely, they told me they only accept tests from mecure and Prism, I just weak. God has to answer me this year oooo, I'm tired of enriching some pple from my pains abeg.

Mecure is also very expensive ooo. I use clinix, their standard is very top notch, and they don't even charge this much... I dunno of thyroid but hormonal was 14k as at last month, and hsg was 20k.
The last time I bought m2tone last year was just 1500, patapata it can't be more than 2500 now. Which drug they wan give u way go reach 28k.
All these hospitals extorting TTC women, God is watching them in 6D. Na make God answer us fast ooo.

Pelvic scan which can be done on any day of your cycle; to check for fibroids, cysts, and to know the state of your uterus
Hormonal Assay (Day 3 and Day 21)
The day 3 is done on the third day of your cycle and is done to check FSH, LH, and Prolactin levels.
Day 21 is done to check your progesterone level.
HSG; usually done on day 10 to check the patency of your tubes.
SFA for dh to know how healthy his swimmers are

@Folash, sometimes, ppl that tell u abt TTC are not as evil minded as we think. Some might recommend things DT u dont know exist like my colleague that recommended doctors that solved her own problem. Another colleague of mine told me of another colleague DT uses herbal, DT I can stylishly ask her to introduce me to d herbal woman.

When you think too much abt TTC, everybodys comment will seem like an insult. My own hubby can smell the insult from afar. I think it was one of the reasons he dealt with the church member...cos she said he should have been carrying her baby by now, not another person s child. When friends and family call him and tell him DT they hope d wifey has started vomiting or pushing her belly, he gets so angry. I've told him its a normal question, so he shld stop reacting or feeling bad .

No it's not normal in all cases and people should actually know where to draw the line.
Am not totally against people giving u advise or showing some concern while TTC; my grouse is when it is coming from almost a total stranger. From the scenarios u gave, the people you mentioned are somewhat close to you, and if that's the case, then it might probably be fine.
TTC is a very sensitive issue and I feel it's not in some people's place to come out and "advice" you no matter how genuine it seems.

Same thing happened to me 2015. My LL's wife put to bed and my neighbor decided that it was an opportunity for her to poke her nose in my biz. To b honest,when she asked me why "they had not seen big stomach", I was too shocked to give her the comeback she deserved. This is someone that our interaction is limited. Hubby was mad and wanted to call her hsb to warn her. I honestly wish she'd pull d stunt ur neighbor pulled so that she can enjoy the tongue lashing that hubby will give her.
D day my FIL's sister drew me aside to recommend her "wooli" for me, it was my MIL that saved her from hubby's vex.

Afi wooli naa I dunno y people just don't like to mind their business. All I know is that it's all for a bigger testimony. We shall all laugh in the end.
