richdaflux: There is a silent rave of discrimination against TTC couples. The society has made it a duty to monitor every newly wed and somewhat question why they are without a child after, lets say, 1 year after marriage. We too dey poke our noses everywhere.
The most attacked is the female gender, who is often at the receiving end of family, friends, colleagues and enemies. Must everyone plan to have children immediately after marriage A friend decided with his wife to stay off child bearing until after two years, for personal reasons.
We really need to mind our business in this country/continent, and if you really care and want to show concern/solidarity, there are ways to do it, without appearing like a wolf in sheep's clothing. In fact, personally, i prefer people not discussing the issue with me, except i invite you myself.
Shikena!
On a positive note... We have been TTCing for about 16-17months now without result. Yesterday, we found out we are preggers, 5 weeks+. We couldn't go through the uncertainty of urine testing, so we went for blood straight; even that was done with so much anxiety/fear. Only those going through sub-fertility will understand the disappointment they go through every month, every freaking month!!!
May God answer our prayers. If you're TTCing without result, trust me, i understand perfectly what you are going through. God is the maker of babies, cos in this journey, i have realised, doctors have got no answer for infertility, they just guess/try, while draining their patients' pockets.
If you got pregnant with ease, you need to do serious thanksgiving, because you've got no idea what emotional, psychological stress you just avoided. And trust me, it has nothing to do with your virginity or how well you serve God, lets just say it's the favour of God.
We bless the Lord for a new dawn in my family. Gbam!!! You totally took the words out of my mouth. People should learn to mind their business except when called upon. Shikena!! A big congrats to you and DW. Easy peasy 9months is your portion IJN. Am next in line for a miracle... AMEN |

We got there around past4, we didn't leave until past 10, DH was just fuming. Mehn, ttc journey is not cheap, anybody on a budget should not go near Parklande o. Odnari family card-10K, monthly consultation_14K, small drugs(m2tone and infection drugs)-28K. The one dt is baffling me is d cost of d tests. Hormonal profiling-30K, thyroid test-15K, hsg-40k!!!!!. When I asked if i could do my tests outside jejely, they told me they only accept tests from mecure and Prism, I just weak. God has to answer me this year oooo, I'm tired of enriching some pple from my pains abeg. Osi ginni... Shuuu... on top wetin... somebody should pls tell me to close my mouth... The last time I bought m2tone last year was just 1500, patapata it can't be more than 2500 now. Which drug they wan give u way go reach 28k. All these hospitals extorting TTC women, God is watching them in 6D. Na make God answer us fast ooo. |

TayeJiboluwa: Walking bare feet in the dream: This means the marriage of the person is under attack. But it is more than that. The marriage and the glory of any individual are connected. When marriage is under attack, glory is under attack. The enemy that attacks marriage is the most dangerous. A man whose marriage has been attacked will just be just be roaming the streets. No job, no life. A woman whose marriage is attacked can not have a child, or she will spend her life in the kitchen, the bedroom, and 'the other room'. Even if she holds a phd. The kind of man she will end up with will confine her there. she will slave the rest of her days, no matter her ambitions. The battle to reclaim marriage is rewarding but fierce. Most prophets could be of help. Have been having this dream for a while... It is well |

mamatwiny: @Folash, sometimes, ppl that tell u abt TTC are not as evil minded as we think. Some might recommend things DT u dont know exist like my colleague that recommended doctors that solved her own problem. Another colleague of mine told me of another colleague DT uses herbal, DT I can stylishly ask her to introduce me to d herbal woman.
When you think too much abt TTC, everybodys comment will seem like an insult. My own hubby can smell the insult from afar. I think it was one of the reasons he dealt with the church member...cos she said he should have been carrying her baby by now, not another person s child. When friends and family call him and tell him DT they hope d wifey has started vomiting or pushing her belly, he gets so angry. I've told him its a normal question, so he shld stop reacting or feeling bad . No it's not normal in all cases and people should actually know where to draw the line. Am not totally against people giving u advise or showing some concern while TTC; my grouse is when it is coming from almost a total stranger. From the scenarios u gave, the people you mentioned are somewhat close to you, and if that's the case, then it might probably be fine. TTC is a very sensitive issue and I feel it's not in some people's place to come out and "advice" you no matter how genuine it seems. |

To b honest, when she asked me why "they had not seen big stomach", I was too shocked to give her the comeback she deserved. This is someone that our interaction is limited. Hubby was mad and wanted to call her hsb to warn her. I honestly wish she'd pull d stunt ur neighbor pulled so that she can enjoy the tongue lashing that hubby will give her. D day my FIL's sister drew me aside to recommend her "wooli" for me, it was my MIL that saved her from hubby's vex. Afi wooli naa I dunno y people just don't like to mind their business. All I know is that it's all for a bigger testimony. We shall all laugh in the end. |

RANTING MONDAY So this neighbour of mine came to meet me sometimes last year after another neighbour put to birth, telling me not to worry, that my own too would come too, I should keep on praying bla bla bla. I told hubby about it and he got angry being that we very private people and all. He even wanted to go and meet the woman, and tell her never to discuss such with me, but I told him to let it go. Fast forward to yesterday, this same woman saw hubby outside, asked of me and told hubby that she would like to see me, hubby asked her for what, she dint want to talk initially, saying its better she tells me about it directly, after so much persistence, she told hubby that "u know after marriage, the next thing should be children, and that she knows that we ve been married for a while without kids, that she just wants to encourage me, that I shouldn't worry that my own children would come. Na so hubby vex tell am say make she no follow am talk that kain thing for her life again. That does she even know if it's deliberate, and we dont wana have kids yet. Hubby has even said he would report her to her husband, and to think that is somebody that I don't have any form of rapport whatsoever with. The only thing that binds us together is good morning, good evening, that's all. I was just dumbfounded when hubby told me. This TTC journey isn't easy at all. May God make it easy for us and answer us sooner than we expect. |

BlossomedCherry: Hello ma, I dont know much about fibroid and vitex but I go still go google university as I don come back so. Clomid gave me cyst so I cant recommend it for anyone, na Letrozole me know. For d bitterleaf, ma plz dont take it if you have low blood sugar. You get fresh leaves, squeeze it in a one glass of water, very well that the water starts foaming the greenish fluid then you seize it and its ready to drink. You can take it twice a day or once if you choose. If you want to have it twice daily then the one you squeezed in the morning would do but you have to add more leaves and more water to make it 2glasses. Dont refrigerate it ma, its even better left out than putting it in the freezer since you will be taking it again later in the day. Garlic is a natural antibiotics so its most times added to this therapy so it would visit every unwanted infection in the system that will hinder d efficacy of your juice. Your sure bet is to chew it raw morning and night but if your oga dey like mine, just kuku cut am in bits and swallow like tablets morning and night after each drink. It will end in praise ma. Thank you for the detailed explanation. God bless you ma |

ogunbekun: Mama, no vex. For natural ways to balance the hormones and regulate the cycle, you can use vitex.
For the fibroid, mamas have used ACV and BSM, together with castor oil pack and they have noticed reduction in size or even disappearing.
Some Dr's sef, how can he give you clomid and not monitor, you might want to change docs, no time for trial and error doctor.
For natural ways of inducing ovulation, Bitterley therapy for CD 1-10, eating fufu and okro soup. Also the supplement - black cohosh is said to work as a natural clomid.
I wish us all the best of luck Thank you ma'am.... I changed Dr immediately I noticed his error, and my new gynae seem to know her onions well...
