Majority of people in the south wants Nigeria to breakup. I don't blame them, the North has too many illiterates that wants to keep leading the educated, they keep dragging the south backwards. As long as the Yoruba, Igbo, Urhobo, Ijaw and the other tribes within the South agrees to become a country I don't mind it. They should also agree on a rotational leadership style to avoid marginalization.

Things will change change for good if Nigeria start practicing resource control. The states will become very competitive and source for ways to get funds. Arrest 98% of Nigeria politicians and ask North and South to discus if they really want to be a single country. Because so far the north seem to have different laws that supersedes the federal laws while the Southerners are not allowed to do same.

Southerner leaders if you have any senses left, you should be aware the North and South are two different countries. People from the North are closer to Niger and Chad people than to people from Southern part of Nigeria. The north and South are too different to be one country.
