This changes everything, the ME has we know it might be about to change. I have always assumed the weapon grade uranium enrichment was for leverage during negotiations.
Iran should get ready to be sanctioned to Stone age if this is true.
I doubt the bill will pass though.
What makes you think China would ever allow such moves in the Security Council?

Have many weapons have you shipped to Israel this week?

It's like these people never take a second to self-reflect. You have been profiting from the worst forms of crimes against humanity for centuries; from the genocide of native Americans to slave trade, to imposition of illegal wars and support for terrorists and tyrants around the world. You're the last group India should take any moral lessons from.

Besides, India doesn't owe USA anything. Europeans might use the Marshall Plan and "Russian threat" to justify their economic self-destruction on your orders, but you have nothing on India, a country whose archenemy you've been giving unwavering support for decades.

You’re right, the UAE sponsored war in Sudan is causing a humanitarian crisis and is barely mentioned in the mainstream media. But we shouldn’t be like them, we must value human lives and condemn intentional killings of civilians anywhere regardless of race or religion.

LordAdam gave a good explanation of the Middle East situation, am still trying to figure out the Middle East. Hezbollar fought Israel because of Palestine- Assad supported Hezbollar- Palestinians celebrated with the terrorist when Assad left- The terrorist don’t support Palestine and hate Hezbollar- The Kurds and Druze helped the terrorist defeat Assad- The terrorist is fighting both now- The Druze hate Israel and Israel is supporting the Druze- The Arab governments are supporting Israel, the citizens don’t but turn a blind eye to the genocide- The terrorist in Syria are sponsored by Qatar, Saudi Arabia is in control of the Lebanon government. The terrorist and Lebanon government hate Hezbollar, Saudi and Qatar hate each other. The Lebanon government and some Christians are supporting Israel, Israel is bombing everyone in Lebanon. Na wa.
Don't sweat it. What's happening in the Middle East is like WWE's royal rumble. Wrestlers would beat the hell out of each other, then collaborate to eliminate someone before they turn on each other again. Iran, Hezbollah, and the Houthis might only be showing care to Palestinians because Israel is involved and don't be surprised if after the dust settles, Palestinians still prefer their Sunni brothers in UAE and Jordan over Shiite infidels that died for them

Here is Valerie Zink's post. Every single issue she raised aligns with what most of us have been saying for years.

For the past eight years I have worked as a stringer for Reuters news agency. My photos covering stories in the prairie provinces have been published by the New York Times, Al Jazeera, and other media outlets across North America, Asia, Europe, and elsewhere. At this point it’s become impossible for me to maintain a relationship with Reuters given its role in justifying and enabling the systematic assassination of 245 journalists in Gaza. I owe my colleagues in Palestine at least this much, and so much more.

When Israel murdered Anas Al-Sharif, together with the entire Al-Jazeera crew in Gaza City on August 10, Reuters chose to publish Israel’s entirely baseless claim that Al-Sharif was a Hamas operative – one of countless lies that media outlets like Reuters have dutifully repeated and dignified. Reuters’ willingness to perpetuate Israel’s propaganda has not spared their own reporters from Israel’s genocide. Five more journalists, including Reuters cameraman Hossam Al-Masri, were among 20 people killed this morning in another attack on Nasser hospital. It was what’s known as a “double tap” strike, in which Israel bombs a civilian target like a school or hospital; waits for medics, rescue teams, and journalists to arrive; and then strikes again.

Western media is directly culpable for creating the conditions in which this can happen. As Jeremy Scahill from Drop Site News put it, “every major outlet – from the New York Times to the Washington Post, from AP to Reuters – has served as a conveyor belt for Israeli propaganda, sanitizing war crimes and dehumanizing victims, abandoning their colleagues and their alleged commitment to true and ethical reporting.”

By repeating Israel’s genocidal fabrications without determining if they have any credibility – willfully abandoning the most basic responsibility of journalism – Western media outlets have made possible the killing of more journalists in two years on one tiny strip of land than in WWI, WWII, and the wars in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, and Ukraine combined, to say nothing of starving an entire population, shredding its children, and burning people alive.

The fact that Anas Al-Sharif’s work won a Pulitzer Prize for Reuters did not compel them to come to his defence when Israeli occupation forces placed him on a “hit list” of journalists accused of being Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants. It did not compel them to come to his defence when he appealed to international media for protection after an Israeli military spokesperson posted a video making clear their intention to assassinate him following a report he did on the growing famine. It did not compel them to report on his death honestly when he was hunted and killed weeks later.

I have valued the work that I brought to Reuters over the past eight years, but at this point I can’t conceive of wearing this press pass with anything but deep shame and grief. I don’t know what it means to begin to honour the courage and sacrifice of journalists in Gaza – the bravest and best to ever live – but going forward I will direct whatever contributions I have to offer with that front of mind.

Why can't they start mining their ports and beaches now?
I don't know much about the situation in South America but given US history of proxy wars in the region and the fact that they've been eyeing Venezuela for years, a ground invasion might not be necessary. They could incapacitate their givernment with airpower and pave way for whatever entity they've been nurturing to seize the country. It's a tried and tested model and USA is especially good at it. The consequences of this on Venezuelans would not matter as long as they have those oil fields in the bag

I just need to remind you that you can make your point without saying anything insulting.......the moment you start insulting your opponent in an argument, bro........

Just do a simple search about the starving Biafrans or south Sudan hunger crisis......bro you go see real starvation not the Gaza propaganda starvation.

And it was hamas that start the starvation campaign not Israel.......do you want me to truth a journalist in the rank of hamas or a UN staff in the rank of hamas?

I said what I said, there is no famine in Gaza, it is just propaganda. The only starved people in Gaza are the hostages
This is a carbon copy of your first response. You said I insulted you without providing evidence, and then you went on to repeat the very same talking point that I addressed. Enjoy your merry-go-round ride abeg.

Him further doubling down still makes the whole thing weirder. Even Israel's top backers say there is mass starvation and have upgraded it to a famine.

And yet, he is still arguing over what I do not understand. But as usual, it's their way.

When the first pictures showed up, they said they were fake. Later, they switched to "the media is lying." .

Now, they're saying Hamas is the one stealing the food. Very soon, they will start accusing anyone who talks about famine of antisemitism.
E no get shame at all. Their only way out is to take off their masks and be "brutal" like the vast majority of nairalanders. You can't justify Israel's actions now without sounding dishonest or stupid. It's just not possible. A lot of people try it in talk shows and 100% of the time, they get embarassed.

Do i need to define hungry and starvation to you before you understand what starvation is??

You need to see clips from the Nigeria civil war, concentration camps and maybe south Sudan........

Your report is from UN......the same UN that was accused of not distributing the aid package in their care or the UN that staff are member of hamas

Or the Gaza doctor that keep hostage

Or Gaza journalist in hamas rank

If this is about winning an argument then you are correct
Can you point out where I insulted you please? Saying that someone is playing dumb doesn't mean you're calling him a dumb person.

90% of the pictures depicting starvation in the Biafran war featured children with relatively thicker adult just as we're seeing in Gaza. Use your search engine for once.

All of the allegations you're throwing originated from one source: Israel, the orchestrator of the famine and the same entity that has refused to let international journalists into Gaza to prove or disprove their claims.

I don't understand the bolded

First, Most you guys (sympathizer) don't know the difference between hunger and starvation. Check the meaning of both words

What he (shoodboi) said was children are likely to starve more than adults....... which is somehow true because the say was "children are likely to be more hungrier than adults" but due to propaganda you guys replace hunger with starvation.....two different thing. Also I said hunger may lead to starvation that is why I said what he said is somehow true

Hunger is selective, starvation is not selective.
Check wars where starvation was used as weapon e.g Nigeria civil war......you will know the difference

What is happening in Gaza is not starvation but pure evil from hamas and the mothers of children on display........simple. starvation is not selective.

The real starved people are the hostages
"...which is somehow true because..."

You are still struggling to admit that he was right and you were wrong. I don't think there is anyone that doesn't understand the difference between the two but you can't resist your habit of playing dumb in order to prolong arguments. You can direct your expert, first-hand knowledge of what's really happening in Gaza to the doctors, the UN, the aid agencies, and the Palestinians themselves thar are all supposedly lying. We don't need it here smiley

Don’t put words in my mouth. I never said children likely starve quicker than adults. I said “Children starve quicker than adults”.

That is a factual statement backed by science and as I said back then, common sense. It is not one based on likelihood or whatever agenda you are trying to promote.

Hunger and starvation are two very clear and distinctive things and are not something we should start an argument about.

Even Israel’s most voracious backers, from the UN and down to Trump himself have agreed there is starvation in Gaza.

Just yesterday, the UN upgraded it from mass starvation to outright famine. “Human-caused famine” as they called it since they know calling it an “Israeli-caused famine” will piss off their Zionist friends and funders.

But somehow, it is you who wants to continue to argue that there isn’t mass starvation in Gaza. Well, you can continue to argue about that. But it is not going to be with me.
If there is one thing you have to give them credit for, it's their ability to double down on ignorant takes by deliberately misinterpreting crystal-clear posts. It would have been entertaining if it wasn't in defense a literal mass murder.

It is common sense that children have lesser body fat, lesser muscles, lesser body volume, and higher metabolism (rate of digesting food) than adults. So, children starve quicker than adults.

A child needs like two weeks of zero food for starvation to set in. An adult can go two to three months without food before they starve. That's why we have so many starving children with hungry but non-starving mothers.

And the younger the child, the quicker they starve.

Since about a year ago, we have been seeing starving babies and once Israel started the complete blockade, we are seeing starving children below the age of 10.

If this continues over the next few months, we will start to see starving older children and adults.

Also, when a person gets to the point where they are starving, you don't just give them food because it can kill them. It is called refeeding syndrome.

So even if the family runs into food by chance, they cannot feed such child and have to get medical attention for them first before they can start feeding them normally.

This is why many of the starving children are usually in hospitals. It has absolutely nothing to do with them having other medical condition as you all are trying to claim. It is because they need medical treatment before they can eat anything.

In all, you and I both know that this really isn't a question you should ask, but you did so just to cover up the truth about israel's genocide in Gaza.
This is very educative. Thank you sir.

Unlike you, I always respond. I'll have you known that the West Bank’s highlands overlook much of central Israel. As far as Israel is concerned, control is a way to prevent hostile forces from gaining a strategic military advantage. It might actually interest you to know that some Israelis believe holding the territory helps prevent rocket fire or infiltration from hostile groups. Do you remember the experience after Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, the aftermath was followed by increased Hamas rocket fire. No sane nation makes the same mistake twice.
I'm going to maintain our recent trend of mutual respect by not commenting on your way of reasoning. That 'control' that you're talking about involves armed citizens going into the West Bank where Hamas does not exist to kill innocent people and take over their homes.
