If u can't see ur old e-wallet but u can see the new E-wallet, print that one and go along with ur course registration page that shows ur project and I.T and u need to pay 15k for convocation before the clearance and the balance payment of ur I.T 7500.

Note: Jamb has been paid as ur compulsory fee, they are not asking of that...

Maybe by next week they will start following the timetable but as at today, it's all department.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLEARANCE??

Project ,IT and seminar registration slip. And most importantly your E WALLET which must show the amount in your portal.

You will have to get clearance form from the bursary with all the above document intact. Once you have that, you will take it to the library and your department for stamp and signature.

Then you proceed to make the payment, the bursary will charge you through remita and then return to the bursary department for final clearance, which is the bursary stamp and signature .

Note : Even if you have your IT, Project, and seminar you will not be cleared by the bursary for as long as your e-wallet is not showing you are not owing us (Noun) .On that note, if you are on the second batch. Kindly print your E- wallet now.


However if your portal has been shut down, the bursary department said the school will activate the portal on or before Friday so you can print the needful. Keep watch!!

Ur project score has to reflect on ur result sheet/portal before u talk of graduation list. So wait till last semester exam result comes out.

In the past, for NOUN accounting graduates to become chartered accountants through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), they have to first go through the Accounting Technician Scheme (ATS), this is now history as ICAN now accept NOUN accounting graduates straight to the ICAN professional program without ATS.
good things are coming to NOUN be proud of being a student or a product of the biggest Nigeria University in terms of population.
NOTE: you will have to do 1 paper in the foundation level and be exempted from 4 and you have to apply with your NYSC exclusion letter.

Please have u actually applied for ICAN and get those exemptions. I am about to apply but not sure if the accept NOUN accounting student. Pls share experience so I will knw My next move.tnx

Go to ICAN website , you will see their study texts , download those I mentioned above .... then start reading ..... or go to Google, type ICAN professional study packs .... then follow what it brings out .... or visit any ICAN study centre (if you have money oo) , tell them u wanna buy ICAN study packs , mention the courses above .... they should help you .

I will advice you go online and download the packs !

I tried downloading but discovered the portal is for students only.Asking for pin/registration no.

Nonetheless, I think ICAN will recognise NOUN Accounting Degree , if she does then u will start at Skills level (After paying all your exemptions for all papers in foundation and Two papers in Skills) .... You will write 4 papers in skills;

Management Government and Ethics
Financial Reporting

all these and procedures to follow are all available on ICAN website ....
