foonshur,
sorry for the tough jokes. indeed your panels should generally face south since we live in the northern
hemisphere. always take your latitude as your angle of inclination. note that there are softwares like pvsyst
that calculate optimum solar panel inclination angles on a month by month basis and these do vary greatly
depending on the time of the year but if you are going to install your panels on the roof or some
other difficult to access location, you can't go changing your panels orientation every now and then.
so, its always better to take the average of these angles and it has been discovered that (give and take)
your latitude gives roughly that average from horizontal.
thanks mate!

Oh! Turn it upside down.
Yea I know it should face up, bt wen I asked that question I had in mind dat technically gifted people should give technically sound answered... I didnt add more to the question wen @DMerciful gave valid resons why I should face south since we live somewhat in the northern hemisphere. thanks @DMerciful

@ DMerciful bros, I cannot become a champion 1 time, I have to stepup, to stepup , to stepup grin I have reduced my generator running hours to about six hours a day, a great feat if u ask me. then abeg how much will the 6panels be?
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by foonshur(m): 10:57am On Nov 01, 2016
thanks guys I really appreciate your prompt and honest responses.
@ DMerciful
6 panels? damn! I'm not goin to depend solely on the sun to charge my batteries as I have a perkins generator and also still connected to the national grid(although I get like 5hours of supply in 2 days) so the point of having a solar setup is to save on fuel. like I said, jst want to power the basic appliances as the refrigerator and ac will be considered much later.

hello gurus, I already have a setup which comprises of a 1.5kva inverter and 2 12v, 200amps batteries. I want to add a solar system to it. I got an advice that 2 200w mono panels and a 60amp mppt cc will be enough to charge the system and power 2 led tvs, 2 decoders, 1 sound system, 2 ceiling fans and about 5 nergy saving bulbs, although I dont put on everything at the same time. My 1st question, is this setup ok or does anything need to be upgraded as per the solar installation, and what is the price range of the panels and the charge controller in this "buhari period". Thanks.

Hahaha the Russians imported Nigerian oil during the civil war in exchange for war weapons and a steel mill supposed to create employment and provide materials for constrcution.

Those weapons they used to kill civilians during the war will cause the souls of innocent civilians never to let Ajaokuta function.
can you just hear yourself talk?.... Russians, importing oil! Haba!

Lies you were told to make you eat pork in the first place.
I don't have problem with you eating pork but the truth must be told.
Do some research.
Pigs eat a lot of rubbish and may contact tapeworm, which is transmissibl e to humans if the pork meat is not properly
cooked. Roasting even increases the risk...
Sorry, I no want spoil your market oh... Just giving my view...
and the beef or poultry product u choose to eat doesn't have foot and mouth disease or bird flu disease? once you take care of the product, you are safe. so I dnt think you have any reason to point out that it causes 1 thing or another.

Car TalkRe: How Do You Stop A Car That Failed Brake ? by foonshur(m): 9:14am On Apr 16, 2016
Untainted007:
1. Don't panic
2. Remove the gear from drive to neutral, the car's speed will start decreasing.
3. Ensure you are holding the steering firmly and be focused to navigate safely.
4. You may have to place your hand on the horn continuously in case we have some sluggish drivers at your front who have the space to clear off for you to move.
5. You may also have to put on your hazard light.

May God help us all to remember all these things, cos if it dare happens our mind will not even be close to put all these in practice.
Obviously you don't know shit about driving! Remove gear from drive to neutral?
