Two students of department of Electrical &Electronics Engineering (EEE) Federal University of Technology owerri (FUTO) have designed a device which helps in curtailing the spread of the very dreaded COVID-19.

The device which was made just in form of a wrist band is programmed with the help of a chip to make a beep once your hands tends to touch your face which helps remind you not to do so.

The device also has an inbuilt sanitizer which is secreted once your hands are kept in the natural position while standing .

The fact that this device also helps record your current body temprature and oxygen level is Amazing. It is also said to track a COVID-19 patient location to help authorities locate them once the device detects a very high temperature and low oxygen level so as to isolate and provide adequate care for the patient.

The device is currently made available with locally made objects , these students are searching for support to help produce a more standard device just like the prototype shown in the video below.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Swansea City attacker Daniel James in a deal worth £15 million ($19m).

It is understood the 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Old Trafford giants and has become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first addition since his arrival as manager in December 2018.

The pacey winger lit up the Championship in 2018-19, scoring five goals and assisting 10 more in 38 appearances in all competitions.

James also made a huge impact in this year's FA Cup, scoring a memorable individual goal against Brentford in the fifth round, before putting in a stellar display as Swansea succumbed to a narrow defeat against Manchester City in the quarter-finals.

As a result of his excellent form, he was also handed his first two caps for Wales by United great Ryan Giggs, scoring in his second appearance against Slovakia in March.

United have released an official statement confirming James's arrival via their club website on Friday, which reads: "Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed, in principle, terms with both Swansea City and Daniel James for his transfer to the club

"Daniel has successfully completed a medical at the Aon Training Complex. Further details will be communicated once the international transfer window opens next week ".

Daniel James completed a medical at Manchester United on Thursday ahead of finalising his £18m move from Swansea, according to report.



United are close to completing a deal for the 21-year-old winger and Wales international, who has one year left on his contract, as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to begin his rebuild of the club.



It is understood the initial fee is worth £15m plus an additional £3m in add-ons, with personal terms already agreed.



James has returned to the Wales squad preparing for their European Qualifiers against Croatia (Saturday) and Hungary (Tuesday).

Man United interim boss OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has been informed by Ed Woodward that he would leave the club at the end of the season regardless of how well he does, that’s the claim of journalist Mark Ogden.


Jose Mourinho was sacked after series of poor results at Man United and Solskjaer was appointed as interim boss to replace him till the end of the season .
so far, the interim boss has led the Red Devils to a thrilling campaign, winning all five matches since his appointment.

Everton defender Michael Keane suffered a hairline fracture of his skull during Saturday's draw at Bournemouth.
The England centre-back clashed heads with team-mate Idrissa Gueye in injury time and was taken to hospital after six minutes of treatment on the pitch.
"Michael Keane has sustained a small hairline fracture of the skull but suffered no other complications," said an Everton statement.
Keane, 25, said he must avoid head contact for three to four weeks.

LORIS KARIUS’ Liverpool stint appears to be coming to an end after Besiktas posted a picture of the goalkeeper on their Twitter page before then removing it.

The German shot-stopper had been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer following the arrival of Alisson from Roma for £67million.

Turkish side Besiktas were widely tipped to be the destination for the 25-year-old although no official confirmation had been forthcoming.

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have paid for a plane to fly a protest banner calling for the head of supremo Ed Woodward.

And things are getting worse for Jose Mourinho with a number of top stars believing he could be gone soon.

The banner aimed at Woodward and club owners the Glazers will be flown over Turf Moor for United’s game at Burnley a week on Sunday.

It will state ED OUT — LUHG, the initials standing for Love United Hate Glazer.

It is telling that fans have decided to target the executive vice-chairman and not under pressure manager Mourinho, who is battling to keep his dressing room together.

The fans wanted to fly the banner over Old Trafford on Bank Holiday Monday for the televised evening clash with Spurs.

However, issues about flying a banner at that time, even shortly before the 8pm kick-off, led to plans being scrapped.

The Burnley protest will be the first time United fans have staged this sort of stunt since a section turned on David Moyes.

Their banner reading Wrong One — Moyes out, a reference to the Scot being Sir Alex Ferguson’s chosen successor, was flown over Old Trafford during United’s game with Aston Villa in March 2014.

But the move was unpopular with many — and backfired anyway as the team won 4-1.
Moyes would survive just four more games.

This time around, though, there is no chance of Woodward going.

To be fair to him, he has allowed Mourinho a net spend of £302million since he replaced Louis van Gaal in May 2016.

But there has been criticism of Woodward’s failure to land the centre-back and winger Mourinho wanted this summer.
