The Executive Governor Of Borno State, Engr. Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum earlier today launched 500 tricycles, 100 Toyota Corolla LE Taxi and 10 Forty-One Seater Metro Buses to boost transport in Maiduguri, the capital city. The ceremony took place at Ramat Square, Maiduguri.

The 10 Buses will be left under the care of Borno Express Transport Corporation while the Taxis and Tricycles will be given to unemployed citizens.

Some men of underworld stormed my area yesterday morning between 1:30-2am while everyone was asleep.

They first robbed the nearby house before coming to my place, I've never experienced such a thing before, though I wasn't robbed, they probably thought I wasn't inside because I didn't display my curtain outside, i didn't put my footwear outside as well, I also switched off the lights the moment I knew they were around trying to break the entrance door.
My apartment is self-contained inside a big compound, some of my neighbours were not at home yesterday, so they shut their doors, those criminals only entered the ones they knew people were inside.
I was so scared guys, I wrapped my big phone and power bank in a nylon bag and put it inside foodstuff leaving the small phone and some amount of money should incase they strike.

It was a moment of confusion, but they didn't beat or injure anybody sha, their Modus operandi shows that they know the terrain well.

I'm already planning to leave the place as soon as possible.

We went to a nearby police station to report the case but they referred us to another division, they said they can't handle it

There's no security in this naija.

Nigeria’s Iconic Rice Paddy Pyramids to be Evacuated Tomorrow
Eight days after the unveiling of Africa’s largest pyramids of rice paddy, the pyramids are about to be evacuated to integrated millers within the country.
This was revealed in an interview by Engr. Saleh Alhassan, the Director of Administration, RIFAN, who oversaw the building of the giant pyramids. He stated that, with the magnificent pyramids, the Rice Farmers’ Association of Nigeria has converted perceived challenges to robust opportunities by installing in Nigerians the possibility of making wealth from the land.
Engr. Alhassan added that with the collaborative efforts of RIFAN and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigeria is self-sufficient in rice production as the country outdoes Egypt to become Africa’s largest rice-producing nation.
Meanwhile, the Director invited all and sundry to witness the evacuation process at the Abuja Centre for Commerce and Industry, Lugbe. He maintained that the evacuation process will silence naysayers who propagate malicious information concerning the iconic achievement of RIFAN and the Buhari – led administration.
The evacuation begins by 10:00 am tomorrow, 27th January 2022 and the bags of rice paddy will be channeled to 61 integrated millers within Nigeria.
