Abdulmalik Tanko, the proprietor of Noble Kids Nursery and Primary School, Kawana, Kano, who confessed to killing one of his students, five-year-old Hanifa Abubakar, has appealed to her parents to forgive him.

Tanko was paraded before newsmen on Friday, January 21. While being paraded, he confessed to placing N100 worth of rat poison into a drink he gave Hanifa and then watched her die. He thereafter buried her inside his school compound.

In his confessional video, Tanko dismissed claims that he killed Hanifa for ritual purposes. According to him, he buried her in his school premises because he couldn't find another secured place to bury her.

He said he abducted Hanifa and demanded ransom from her parents because he was going through financial crisis.

''I just want to plead with the parents. I am so sorry for what I did to them. I have killed their daughter so I am very sorry. This is a life, a life is something precious''.

It's a serious matter.

My elder sister and her husband were married for 5 years and separated November last year but not divorced yet, though the families have been trying to reconcile them to come back together but my sister's husband has been adamant about it.

I noticed that ever since his separation from my sister he started visiting my place and now it has become frequent. I allowed it because I see him as a brother but now I am starting to really enjoy his company. He has been helping me out with stuffs and still maintains his kindness towards my parents.

He proposed marriage to me yesterday and I have been confused. I will be 30 by February 2nd.
Should I accept his proposal?

A touching throwback video of a little girl that was kidnapped and killed by her teacher has surfaced.

In the video, the late 5-year-old Hanifa Abubakar was asking everyone to protect themselves.

Hanifa was kidnapped and killed by her own school proprietor in Kano last December. Her body was discovered a few days ago where the school teacher had buried her remains after feeding her with rat poison.

Before she was gruesomely murdered, Hanifa was filmed by family members urging everyone to protect themselves.

''“We should protect ourselves ,we should follow the rules, We should protect our health Arewa24 is our own.” she is quoted as saying

A yet to be identified Nigerian police officer has been captured in a viral video assaulting a woman and threatening to kill her.

Focus Naija can report that the victim and others were allegedly on their way to Lagos along the Benin Expressway when the incident occurred.

Although the reason for the assault could not be ascertained as at press time, the officer could be heard calling her an ash*wo (prostitute) and bragging that he is not an ordinary policeman.

Efforts by his colleagues to stop him from further assaulting the woman fell on deaf ears as he broke loose from their grip, cocked his rifle and fired into the air.

A corp member identified as Kenny Omomeji, shared photos of the car he reportedly bought from his monthly NYSC allowance, Siggy reports.

According to Kenny who was pictured posing with the car, he was able to buy an old model of Mercedes Benz after saving his N33,000 allowance for six months. He also revealed that the car was his first and it reportedly cost N198,000.
