lbrichman2: Personal bias? Yes that's normal But prejudice? No
Wait until after AFCON before you judge Eguavoen's selections Even at that, the spine of the team is already set There won't be too many alterations except maybe in some key positions like LB, RB, CB and maybe CM/AM We are well stocked in other areas It will take a monumental effort from any player to displace what we already have in other positions There’s prejudice against some players. That’s a known fact based on how these players were never given chance to prove themselves. Give them chance the same way you gave these players because the “spine” of the team. |

ChrisKels: The answer you seek for when it comes to Olayinka and Ejike has already been provided for you by your master. Oya check am below, considering that Olayinka had his chance before Ejike was ever considered for a look in. We never talk about Nwakaeme oo, na Olayinka you wan make we talk bhuhahahahaha Which chance? Do you mean the 1 minute chance give to Olayinka? Nwakaeme has not done better than Peter in the last two seasons. Why mention him? Besides, he is playing in a lower league and lower club than Peter. There’s prejudice and bias selection in the national team under Rohr and it seems the thread is about to continue with Eguavoen. |

humility33: Do u have a problem with ejuke
Dude has been the best winger in the last 3 matches he played for the super eagles
You simply evade criticising moses simon and now you're berating ejuke that have been better in this last 3 matches no coach will ignore such a player
Equeavon is wiser, intelligent and smarter than you when it comes to team management and tactics.. He obviously fancy Ejuke in the AM role like some persons here thats why he list him as an AM more over the presence of Ejuke in the wing role still will make us not miss Samuel Kalu badly Why give Ejuke who is in a lower club and lower league chance ahead of Peter in a higher club and higher league in the first place? Give others the chance before we conclude he is the best. We know that was a smoke screen. Ejuke can’t fit into the AMF role immediately. |

ChrisKels: Statistically speaking, Ejike, 4goals 4assists as opposed to Olayinka's 5goals and zero assists. He still Trump's Olayinka, but that said, I would take Olayinka ahead of Lookman Stop lying here. Peter Olayinka has 6 goals and 3 goals while Ejuke has 4 goals and 3 assists. Statistically speaking, Ejuke is down the pecking order. He was selected based on sentiments and prejudice. |

ChrisKels: Your usual UEFA club coefficient has CSKA Moscow in the top 50 clubs in Europe, while Leicester could only be found in the number 77th position. So, being a hit in a big club like CSKA is way better than doing it for Leicester. Exactly! Since, Peter Olayinka is a hit in Slavia Prague that is ranked 31st in Europe and even playing in the 8th best league in Europe, Peter Olayinka should have been considered. No wonder the coaches sneaked Ejuke in as a midfielder because he doesn’t deserve a spot among the wingers, statistically speaking. |

ChrisKels: One is worse, and his name is Ademola Lookman. He is below average The worse one should be Ejuke if we consider his league and club. In fact, Czech league (8th in Europe) and Peter Olayinka’s club is rated above the Russian league and Ejuke’s club respectively. Hence, Peter Olayinka with 6 goals and 3 assists should be considered ahead of Ejuke statistically speaking. Even Dessers has a better stats than Sadiq Umar with 10 goals and 3 assists and plays in the 7th best league in Europe yet he was ignored for a player in second division with 9 goals and 7 assists. I suspect prejudice and bias selection. |

Goal scored in top 5 leagues are more superior to those scored outside top leagues. Due to this, Ademola’s goals has more weight than Ejuke’s goals. What do you think? Statistically speaking, Ejuke na em Carry last. |

chrisooblog: Dennis is more of a winger who can also operate in the forward position. He can play LW and RW.
Ejuke has also shown he can play the LW role fairly well for club and country.
Adding Lookman is an overkill for me, especially considering there are other areas where we need reinforcement. Please, check Dennis’s record you will agree he has played majorly as a CF. This season he played 7 games as a striker and scored 4 times with 3 assists. More effective as striker though I agree he can play on the wings too. |

ChrisKels: Chidera Ejike is a LW same as Emmanuel Dennis. Lookman isn't as good as any of them. That said, I would give lookman a chance on the bench ahead of Musa sha Dennis is more of a striker than a winger and that is where he thrives most. Why do you think both are better than Lookman? |

Hanibal: Ademola lookman will not add anything new to this super eagles team... We have Ejuke and chukwueze already, they are direct runners/dribblers. What we need is one more CM/AM That’s why we need a different player like Ademola. Who is more dynamic and different in style of play. He will surely add up to the team. |

Danielnino00: Ejuke plays LW too... Dennis too can play anywhere up front.. Is Lookman better than either of them? How many forwards are we even going to use? Shehu should be replaced by a defender or midfielder What if Dennis and Ejuke starts as a CF and LW respectively and we needed to substitute Ejuke due to football reasoning, who replaces him? We don’t need to use make shift players if you have a equally better player in a position. Is Lookman better than Ejuke? Of course. Is Emmmuel better than Lookman? It’s up for debate. |

Danielnino00: The forward list is already choked... Unless Lookman will come and play AM..
Is his switch even completed? It officially started a few months ago after many months of us hearing stories.... Why was he included in the provisional list if it has not been completed? Besides, let us critically analyze the forward list into-to. 10 forwards were listed and if we add Ejuke, we have 11 forwards. Now, where can these players function along the front line? We have CF, SS, AMF, LW and RW. As far as I am concern, we have a total 4 natural CFs in the team because I am not sure of Osimhen’s fitness. CF 1. Odion Ighalo 2. Taiwo Awoniyi 3. Emmmuel Dennis 4. Umar Sadiq SS 5. Iheanacho Kelechi AMF 6. Alex Iwobi RW 7. Samuel Chuks 8. Chidera Ejuke LW 9. Simon Moses 10. Ahmed Musa *Osimhen (Fitness not confirmed) The weakest position is the LW. This is where Ademola Lookman comes in. Is Simon or Musa better than Lookman on that LW? Apparently, Lookman is better than most of the wingers on the list. |
