i av been using blackberry plan on glo for some years now and besides glo network in my house is superb. So, i upgraded to android, i first got blackberry Z30 and i did d normal subscription on it(CoMonth to 777) they deducted my 1,400 and sent me a msg that d service is pending and wl b corrected latest by 24hrs. I was very angry after i got to know frm their customer service agent that normal blackberry subscription is no more available for bb10 series. After 24hrs, my money was refunded and i shouted OPE oooo. i took back d bb Z30 to where i bought it to take samsung s5( i added money) so i bought 1000 wot of data frm glo. the only site i visit often is NAIRALAND cos u go c wetin go make u laff and 4get ur worries and there ar alot of info too here. After 1WEEK, my 1.5gig finished and i was like KILO N SELE Wetin dey happen?? i loaded 2k again to buy awoof 6gig and today marks 7days and i got a msg frm 127 dt my remaining MB is 146mb; HABA! glo kilode y is glo syphoning frm d masses to get richer. Make una fear God na. I actually screamex wen i woke up ds morning and saw dt i ddnt off my data last night and d last page on my opera was nairaland, so d 4320mb i left last night is finished even wen im nt browsing all because i left my data ON abi? THUNDER go fire globacom ni o!

i dont know much abt phones but i did my research on nairaland b4 settling for samsung s5. i wanted camon 8 bt my last expwrience with techno made me change my mind; i was using techno A+ b4 which i got 2yrs ago. The phone was writing "memory full" and after abt 1week, it stopped working. i tried to put it on bt to no avail. it wont even charge sef so i gave it to an engnr @ computer village ikeja and till now he's yet ro fix it(since february). Nairalanders are always talking abt samsung here and there and now i've got the samsung, ME NO C ANYTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THE PHONE oo. it has fingerprint scanner.......And so? na dt 1 we wan chop ni?

pls how do i download ds game and b able to play it offline? pls i just got my s5 and one of d reasons i got it is because i wana b playing nice games. could u pla suggest how i can go abt it. i wl appreciate if any1 in d aos coukd help abeg.

D headies award wl nt b as interesting as d previous ones cos of d change in d date. D organisers shd nt av chosen 1st day of d year when most of d artiste wil b aving shows. I'm sure they wld rather go for their shows wch wl fetch dem money and send a representative to headies tocollect their awards on their behalf.

Congrats on d arrival of ur LO. When I had my baby then, he was ds usual gas pain in d tummy and I later learnt dt its called COLICS so I googled on it to gather more info; one of d tins I read was dt drinking of evaporated(tin) milk could cos colics in babies. I switched to powdered milk and that ended cholics in my baby. U can google and get some info too

Good day to d mamas in the house. Pls I need a suggestion on WHAT and HOW to brush my 1year old baby's mouth. I've used gryciline bt my baby wl use his 7teeth to hold d cotton wool and won't lemme clean his tongue. I used tongue brush and tooth paste, same thing. Pls is there a better way to do it? My friend who is also a first time mom like me sed her mother adviced that she shdnt brush her baby's mouth until he's 3yrs old to avoid mouth odour bt my concern is dt my baby's tongue is white and am I suppose to leave it like dt?
Secondly, does any1 here know a good creche @ palm avenue, mushin, where I can keep my baby. I tried a creche few weeks ago and d following day may baby was admitted in the hospital for stooling and vomiting; because of this av nt taken him to creche again bt its nt being easy stayin all alone wt ma baby inside d house. I need to go out and work bt where wl I keep my baby.........Mothers around mushin, make una help me ooo

I once used borax gryciline to clean his tongue bt I read on d internet dt its bad for then and dt whitish stuff wld clear on its own. Its as a result of parental upbringing o, environment(wch constitute ur parents too) has a large influence on a kid's mentality. I am talking frm experience, while I was a kid, my siblings were always mocking my complexion and my mum won't caution them, I stl av inferiority complex because of that. Although, so many pple that knows me find me fun to be with, brilliant and d likes......bt I tel u, d COMPLEX is just there. I always wana b som1 else because my siblings made me believe dt I'm not good enof*sad face*

My baby too had ring worm patches and even eela sef, bt since I started using sebamed soap nd cream, everything is cleared out.

Noooooo, pls don't massage. If d fever is much, u can rinse his body wt water , he shd slp w.out cloth too just to control d fever(cos too much fever causes convulsion. U can put cold satchet water on d site on d injection and after 10mins u remove nd put it again. Or u wrap iced block in handkerchief and put it on d site of d injection. Av u given him piriton? 2.5mls of piriton too helps. U can check google for more info on ds

my dear, I had similar issue o, when my son was 2 year, I left him watching TV while I was cooking on a Saturday, I didn't know he had access to toilet paper and he played with it and some got stuck in his nose, but cos he talks a lot, he started talking at 10months, he told me he had elephant in his nose, can u imagine! I quickly checked his nose and sucked, used cotton bud. I almost died that day hen!

My baby must not see any paper or tissue including books ,because he is gonna tear, chew and swallow it straightway.

My hubby warned me last week that I should be careful that my baby can swallow remote control battery. Friday night, I saw the remote without battery, Jesus, I started looking for the batteries like a mad woman. When I saw it, my baby has used his teeth to compress one of the batteries. I jejely rushed to hide the battery before I go dey hear, "I will arrest you if any thing happens to this baby"

I don't even kno ao to stat, its a sad story......
1. A preg woman who has been diagnosed wt diabetics would nt agree to cs, she was believing in miracle. She eventually had d baby 5.6kg bt d baby's both hands ar paralysed. D docs sed there was no blood flow to d hands. D docs sed if she had agreed on cs maybe......just maybe! Now d docs sed d option is to amputate @least 1 of d baby hands.....so sad*sigh*
2. A toodler died and d autopsy revealed dt she swallowed ba3*wristwatch*. Kolohun saanu......it happens I tell u. There was a time my baby chew paper, I ddnt know until I saw it in his poop. . I saw d paper wt him b4 bt I felt he could swallow it cos its thick*pali* so I left him besides na just 2teeth him get na, I ddnt know he could soak d pali wt his saliva*person wey I go giv food he no go collect, even if his formula get seed he wl vomit it.
3. A boy played in sch and his play mate broke broom stick in his ear. He ddnt talk @home cos mum may beat him, nt until d ear has purs
4. A girl was pushed down d balcony by her play mate and na hed she use tey hit ground, she had mental probe begin dey tear her cloths*6yrs* so she was injected to death*mum told us d story*
Diff stories we hear, we shd keep a keen eye on our BELOVED, may God hep us

....Bt if we don't let them watch tv @ home, they watch it @ school, u hardly c a creche now w.out tv...

Use google too. I didn't allow my babies watch telly o! I tried it with my first and she got so carried away and distracted by it that it took me a couple of years to correct. Her pre primary work hard the greatest hit. I know it keeps ur baby quiet but its not advisable.

Sorry mama, I can imagine wot u re going thru. I think u shld form a schedule. U cld wake up a little earlier than ur LO and get some work done. Then u cld also train ur child to b a little independent. For eg, u cld leave him on his own on a padded floor for some tym checking on him periodically, u cld spray toys to keep hhim busy. Dont always carry him at d slightest whinning. Cooking in bulk too ll help. Its nt easy, jisike.

Ds thread has created a one big family, thumb up to d wonderful mamas like U who stl make out time to share their experience. Yes, there is rug in d aos bt my fear is dt I don't want LO to put dirt in his mouth*rug habours dust* ........wt all d info av gathered here, I'm sure I wl work out somtin. Thanks ma*hug*

It is not easy to stay at home with a baby especially the chew gum type.
I'm no longer working and it has not been easy. I just can't meet up with house chores. My baby has koko on his fore head because of too many falls. He sleeps for 30 mins in the afternoon and like 3 times in a day.

What I do is, if I want to be busy, I wear him thick cap at least to protect his back head[no rug] , and keep him close to me. When in the kitchen, I keep him close to the door.

Do u have rug in your room? Drop him there and let him cry, if he doesn't see you, he will stop crying. He will get use to it. Cry no dey kill pikin

Last month, hot water almost poured on our bodies. I carried him [because of his cry cry] to the kitchen to switch off the gas.
Lo and behold, as I turned to the sink, my baby used his second hand to carry the bucket I use in sterilizing his feeding bottles with hot water inside it.

Since then, provided I'm not going for long, I leave him in the bedroom.

My dh will say I'm using Kammy to lie about my laziness shebi kammy will grow up. I will say, I go don born another one.

I can't hep bt laf too here....its feels so good to kno dt som1 out there know and understand wot u'r going tru. If washing machine no dey in d first place I go just dey faint everyday niyen...lol. Meanwhile, power supply ds days has discouraged me frm keeping food in d freezer, although we put on d gen every night bt cos its d same freezer I keep plenty cold water then I put it @ "4" so wots in there won't b too blocked and during d day wen dia's no light it wl melt small, by so doing ma foods in d freezer dey loose taste so I stopped putting food in d freezer. I go shaa combine all d opolo I got here and put it to wrk....GOD bless our homes*hug*

Hahahahahhahahaha abeg permit me to laugh. Story of my life. My first baby was so clingy! OMG! It was an experience I will never forget. That's what made me start the independent training on time. Never allowed me to cook, wash, sweep etc. Hubby felt I was too lazy( in his mind sha). I vex one day and just left her to cry. Since that day she calmed down o! Go get a washing machine( so clothes won't pile up). Cook food and pack in the freezer( soup, stew etc) take a lil time to watch a movie( to calm ur nerves). I noticed when I'm agitated my baby becomes cranky. All the best and loads of hugs
NB: do family planing o! Cos if another one enter na eim be say ur hair go tanda wellla! Lol

Have u tried playing Barney and nursery rhymes?. Oh my! Those are my saving grace. My LO can go 2-3 hrs without disturbing me when he watches them. I used to have the same problem before i started doing that. Now, i'm free to do anything. I even take a short nap .

Pls my question is directed to d full time mom in naija(FTM)....pls ao do u do it I dropped my job(marketting) @ my first trimester of preg and av been @home since then. DH works til sat and uses his sun to rest, he coms bak late frm work cos of lagos hold-up, my only assigned job is to do d normal wife chores in d aos bt I can't even keep up to task*sad face*. My 7months old boy won't lemme leave his side. He plays on his own bt I av to b there wt him else he's cry of fall *learning to stand on his own*. DH doesn't buy d idea of creche for LO cos he feels I'm not doing anytin so I gat no excuse. I'm even afraid of some creche nowadays dt wl giv ur child syprigold. Meanwhile, my LO would play on his own b4 bt after he clocked 3months, he just changed, he won't even sleep in d aftnu(He doesn't cry oo). He won't lemme bak him wen he's nt sleeping, now sef he has refused his formula and na only bossom milk making my work double. I cry most times cos *i don't kno sha*. I c my aos chores dt I'm suppose to do bt I can't even finish up and wen DH com, I wl stl b in d kitchen preparing dinner. I envy mothers that had pple around them to carry their baby for them while dey av time to do 1 or 2 tins. Ds my appartment na mind ur own business, nobody to talk to........sooo boring and annoying
