My husband just finished paying his 2yr instalmental payment for Shimawa phase 1(500k); now we are told dt there wl b some other levies too, abt 500k again(which we were nt informed frm d begining o) b4 they can ALLOCATE d land to us. No allocation yet we just bought land BY MOUTH#imagine#

I SAW OLAJUMOKE YESTERDAY: On my way to a ministration yesterday, I drove through a route and I saw OLAJUMOKE. You remember that Olajumoke? I mean that Olajumoke, the bread seller turned model. I saw her yesterday. If you are in Lagos, you must have noticed some bill boards erected here and there with the pictures of some people, mostly celebrities in the music and film industry, and other great personalities in celebrating Lagos at 50. I have been seeing this boards here and there with those faces we know. But one caught my attention yesterday. I saw Olajumoke Orisaguna, that bread seller turned model on a bill board and this inscription ' Lagos, my success story' was written on it.
As I drove past that bill board, so many thoughts went through my head. Many of those faces on other bill boards are people who have been in their various field for years and they worked tiredlessly before ascending the stage of stardom. But this Olajumoke, from 'no where' was picked on the street where she was selling bread. She was polished, and now she sits with the nobles. I am not here to debate whether it was right for her to be selected as part of those people whose faces are showing on those Lagos @ 50 boards or not. That is not my focus this morning. I am only saying, when God decides to turn to you, then it will be your turn and the whole word will turn their faces to you to celebrate you.
One thing I know from her story is the fact that, she was selling bread! She was not idle! That day she 'stumbled' on that opportunity that birthed a global celebration for her, she was at her duty post! She was selling bread!
Friends, don't be discouraged with your own 'bread selling'. Sell it! Hawk it! Sell it with all your strength. Sell it with optimism. Sell it with dignity and focus. Hawk it everywhere. You will not continue in the sun forever. 'The day' is coming and it is closer than you imagine, a destiny helper and lifter like T.Y Bello will see you where you are selling this 'bread' and before you know it, your gift will become your lift in life. You too will sit among the nobles. You will be listed on the honours list of who's who. I saw Olajumoke yesterday. I saw her this morning too on Wikipedia. It further confirms the word of God that says, 'The Lord makes poor, and makes rich: He bringeth low and lifted up: He RAISES up the poor out of the DUST, and lifted up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among the princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's and he has set the world upon them'. (1 Samuel 2:6-7).
My message to you this weekend is, keep '*selling your bread*'. Don't stop selling it. The sun in which you walk to 'sell' it might be so hot, keep selling it! It will not be long, your face too shall be seen every where in that elevated position God is taking you to. You too will get to the High Table of Life where men of success and outstanding accomplishment sit. Be encouraged to forge ahead. I saw Olajumoke yestarday, you might be the one I will see 'tomorrow'. I hope this encourages someone reading.

Op, thank u 4 ds write-up; it's just 4 me. I lost my techno phone to "memory full" and all of a sudden, it just stop working.....now my samsung s5 is doing d same now even wen d internal memory is 16g and memory card too is 16gig. I just bought a 32gig memory card bt after inserting it on d samsung, d stuffs i av on the fone cannot b moved to d new memory card so its stl saying "memory full" and i dont wana loose my samsung like i lost my techno. My questions are ds:

1. When i want to disable those useless apps that coms wt my fone,apps like fliboard, it tell me my fo e can malfunction is i remove built-in app, ao true is dt?
2. Pls explain more on ao i can back up over d cloud and is there anyway i can delete all those useless back up files?

Samsung phones do not av reasonable prices @al, i wl keep saying it. D screens are too fragile, d camera is poor compare to d price. D parts ar too expensive in d market. I used my friend's infinix hot 3(front camera) to take selfie using a selfie stick and d pic was waoooh.....my own samsung s5 front camera picture no fit withstand am. If u ar walking in d sun, u wont even c d screen unless u put d brightness in 100% wch is ba3 consuming.........I wl keep saying it for whoever has ear let me ear, samsung phone is a WASTE OF MONEY!

@ OP, he's only acting that way because you are not working . . . depending on solely on his income for you and your baby's upkeep. While it should never be a problem in an 'ideal' world, these days it's a HUGE problem. Nobody wants a free-loader . . FACT!!! Men these days are lazy and selfish and were barely raised to cater for themselves, much less a family. I blame our parents and the parents before them for that . . but that's a story for another day!

I'm a sit @home mum, I resigned my marketing job because I want to have time for my baby but now my husband would not give me money anytime we have misunderstanding, not even for my baby too.

I have called his parents' attention to this but his people call me "ABOKOKU". Majority of samsung phone users complain about the fragile screen. Even my own samsung phone's screen got broken few weeks after purchase. Although, d broken screen stl work perfectly bt i keep wondering y sansung wld b so dubious dt they make their phone s screen so fragile and stl sell their phones @ expensive price. I stl av my techno of 3yrs and d screen is stl intact....... The amount you wil get another screen for your samsung phone is enough to buy an android phone. Owning a samsung phone could b a waste of money @times.SMH!

Govt sch is NOT better for primary education again. Offcourse, @ secondary and tertiary level, govt sch is stl ok.

Nawa o. Bt what pains me most is dt majority of ds schs just exploit d parents. They dont offer d best as such. For example, dt sch dt demands dt i pay 140,000 pays her teachers 30,000 as salary. They have just 1 teacher to a class(although population of pupils is nt much due to the high sch fees) and its d CLEANER dt feeds d children in paygroup class. Imagine when d cleaner finish wt d cleaning of poop and wl now com again to feed d pupils. Chai!

Almost every school in Lagos now is increasing their fees for this new session. And the perfect excuse they give is one word: Buhari. Mine was just increased to almost 200k last week for a 5yr old.

I bought 10gig worth of data(2,500)for abt 1week now bt i cant use it. My network has nt been stable since i bought it wch is quite unusual. I used to buy 6gig(#2000) b4 wch i wld use and even roll-over so i tot i shd just add #500 and buy 10gig and here i am wt epileptic mobile network. Chai! Its so painful dt in ds our Naija, d rich are exploiting d poor to get richer. What evidence do u av for ds RUBBISH u just said? Post the link and lets all read. Im a graduate of Unilorin and i can say bodly that what u said is a BIG LIE. If any staff was sacked during Oloyede's tenure, then d staff was definitely against b LAW(same goes for students too). Meanwhile, its d panel of JUGDES dt pass judgement and NOT even Oloyede. We need people like Prof. Oloyede in our country.........If i start to count Oloyede's achievements in Unilorin, i wl definitely loose count cos OTI POJU!
