Magu is the best candidate in this country for that position and that he should continue acting indefinitely until he is confirmed and there should be no change whatsoever; otherwise, there will be a major setback in the fight against corruption . “ We observed that those who do not want him are those who are opposed to the fight against corruption . So, we are 100 per cent behind him .” I quit agree with this. even though he might have some issues, but the truth is the Senate knows magu will hunt them |

APC MAY BE MORE PURPULAR THAN PDP IN RIVERS If you reside in Rivers and listens to radio stations you will have notices that contributors to political matters have more of APC supporters than the PDP. this may be an indication that the APC may be more popular than the ruling PDP since the contributes represent statistically a cross section of the 23 local government area in the state. if you are an ardent follower of political discussion on Radio especially in 92.3 Nig. Info you must have been familiar with names like Ebere from Rumu Ndele, Bar. chizy, Glad West, Akanto Boutique, Jude Ubani, suzy from Erema, Chimanem Wordi, Chile from Ugbakiri, Innocent Amadi, Basil Amadi, Mrs. Dimkpa, Emzor Uzor, Baba for the masses, D Radio senator, J A J, etc. these names and perhaps more are about the most popular radio contributors in the state. these callers are scattered all over the 23 local government of the state with more than 60% pro APC supporters. similar statistics is also true for the Unknown contributors. though in PH and obio/Akpor LGAs due to the large population of the non indigenous Igbos who make up over 45% of the population there, PDP seem to hold sway in these two local government. This is perhaps the reason why most people think that Rivers is mainly PDP. though am not a fan, PDP should go back and do their home work to win over support in other LGA because there will be no federal migth this time around. I remembered one of Wike's campaigns in Rumueme Area of PH where he told his supporters to endeavour to vote for GEJ and forget about him. that the very day of the guber they would use cane on the APC supporters. this advantage is no more longer there hence PDP should mobilize to field the earlier the better! APC we rivers know not PDP |

Oliseh Confirms Musa As New Captain For Super Eagles by I hope Sunday has not started smoking igbo (weed). He's on a mission to force certain players out of the team. If he doesn't need them again, let him rather not invite them. How can a sane coach byepass Enyeama and Mikel and make Musa the captain. Why was Kanu who was younger and obviously more popular/influential not made the captain over him in oliseh's playing days? It doesnt happen in any human society to make a junior person the superior. You will rather first send the senior players to retirement by not inviting them, in order to create space for Musa. Furthermore, I hope Musa has started speaking good English sha. 1 Like |

Religion / How Can I Walk In God’s Will? (12 Essentials) by fountainsLtd: 6:32pm On Sep 24, 2015 |
How can I walk in God’s will? (12 Essentials) Knowing and doing the will of God matters to those who know God. But how to know God’s will is much more challenging. Since God doesn’t typically choose to speak audibly to us (I’ve never heard any voices), how can we do His will? Should we look to circumstances for divine guidance? Do internal impressions from the Spirit play a role? What about counsel from leaders or caring friends? Each of these could help us but there is a more objective standard. Scripture is the revelation of God himself and of his will for us (see: II Timothy 3:15-17). Few of us struggle to know God’s will on clearly commanded or clearly forbidden issues. The area of challenge is on issues where Scripture doesn’t offer specific guidance. This is where we are free to make our own decisions as we walk in the wisdom revealed by God in Scripture. When we lack specific biblical directives, we should always look for principles and general truths from Scripture. Follow me to consider 12 Essentials The 12 essentials below are to assist you in knowing and doing the will of God in all decisions. I am not offering them as a formula for knowing God’s will but a focus to help keep us in the right place for doing His will. As you consider each one, notice the emphasis on being. Although doing and being are inseparable, too often we focus on what God wants us to do when He is much more concerned about who we are or character formation. Being should always be the basis for doing. 1. Be humble: Psalm 25:9- “God guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.” See also: Isaiah 66:1-2; I Peter 5:5,6; Romans 12:3. Note: The two means for cultivating humility on a daily basis are prayer and study of God’s Word. When we pray and look to God’s word, we are acknowledging our need for God’s strength and wisdom. 2. Be grateful: I Thessalonians 5:18: “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Many step out of God’s will because of discontentment. (see, Hebrews 13:5; Philippians 2:14-15). 3. Be obedient to God’s revealed will: II Timothy 3:16,17: “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” First do what you know to be God’s will. Always ask if there is any Scripture that applies to your decision (see, Deuteronomy 8:3; Psalm 19:7; 119:98; Colossians 3:16). 4. Be connected to a local church: Hebrews 13:7,17: “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account” (see, Ephesians 4:11,12). Be open to godly counsel. See Proverbs 12:15;19:20. Godly mentors are essential for navigating life in a fallen world. 5. Be spiritually minded: Romans 8:5-8: “Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God” (see, psalm 1:1-3; 19:14; Romans 12:2; Galatians 5:16; Philippians 4:. Focus on spiritual and eternal goals and try to minimize the material and temporal commitments that do not serve those goals (see, I John 2:15-17, Colossians 3:1,4; II Corinthians 4:16-18). Be kingdom-minded (Matthew 6:33) and deny the flesh — this is what it really means to be led by the Spirit (see, Romans 8:13-14; 13:14; Galatians 5:19-22). 6. Be wholehearted: Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” (see, Ecclesiastes 9:10; Romans 12:11; I Corinthians 15:5-8; Ephesians 6:7,. 7. Be committed to excellence: Philippians 1:9-10a: “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best.” Ask, “What is the best I can do for God?” (see, I Corinthians 10:31, II Corinthians 5:9-10). 8. Be willing to step out in faith: Hebrews 11:6-10,13: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God….All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth” (see, II Corinthians 5:6-10). Sometimes God calls us to follow Him without disclosing a full understanding of His provisions and purposes (see, the life of Joseph (Genesis 37-50). However, we should not confuse faith with presumption. Those who, for example, go into unmanagable debt and claim it as a step of faith are being presumptuous toward God. 9. Be patient: Hebrews 10:36: “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised” (see, James 1;2-5; 5:7-. Abraham and Sarah are examples of those who were unwilling to wait for God’s timing. Instead of trusting God for the impossible (a child in old age), they took matters into their own hands by having a Son through Hagar, Sarah’s handmaid (Genesis 16). The consequences of this act continue today in the conflict in the Middle East between the Jews and the Arabs –the seeds of Isaac (Sarah’s son) and Ishmael (Hagar’s son). 10. Be open to the unexpected: Isaiah 55: 8-9: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” This truth is powerfully illustrated in the lives of many in scripture (e.g. Abraham and Sarah, Joseph, Elijah, Paul) 11. Be willing to suffer: I Peter 4:19 “So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.” (See also: II Corinthians 12:7-10; Hebrews 12:4-11). God’s will involved suffering for Jesus as it will for His followers (see, Luke 22:39-46; Hebrews 5:7; John 15:18-20; II Timothy 3: 12; I Peter 2:21). 12. Be bold for Christ: Galatians 1:10: “Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” “Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not confess their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved praise from men more than praise from God” (John 12:42,43). “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels” (Mark 8:38) God bless you as you walk and work with the above 12 Essentials.... Politics / Confirm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Senator Saraki Stone In His Home Town by fountainsLtd: 5:32pm On Sep 24, 2015 |
DAILY SUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Senator Saraki Stoned At Prayer Ground In Ilorin By Our Reporter on September 24, 2015 COVER, National, Trending Nigeria’s embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki, was today stoned at a prayer ground in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, shortly after he and other political as well as religious dignitaries arrived for festive Eid Barak prayers. The chief imam of Ilorin and several dignitaries were with Mr. Saraki when an irate mob started hurling stones and sachets of water at the beleaguered senator who is being prosecuted before the Code of Conduct Tribunal for false assets declaration. Our sources, including a member of the senator’s delegation, said the attacks had taken Mr. Saraki’s security guards and aides by surprise, adding that many of them initially fled the scene. According to the sources, the mob’s tempers flared when some hired female praise singers took to the microphone in the midst of prayers and began chanting the senator’s praises. In response, many of the Muslim faithful began shouting “Ole, Ole, Ole!” and then started shelling the Senate president and his guests with stones and plastic sachets of water. “Ole” is a Yoruba word for thief. In the ensuing pandemonium, the chief imam abruptly ended the prayers as the police and Mr. Saraki’s private security quickly ferried him away from the prayer grounds. One of our sources said the violent reaction to the singing of Mr. Saraki’s praises reflected a growing impatience on the part of state and local government employees who have not been paid for several months. “Governor Fatai Ahmed received Federal Government bailout funds meant to clear the arrears of salaries owed to workers, but he has not paid the workers,” one source said. He added, “Yesterday many state workers were paid for one month out of more than five months they are being owed. But the monies did not arrive in time for the workers, most of them Muslims, to shop for the Sallah festivities.” The same source said state workers became more incensed as rumors spread that Governor Ahmed, who was handpicked by Senator Saraki, had donated N1 billion of the state’s bailout funds to the embattled senator to help battle his prosecution on corruption charges. An official of Kwara State told SaharaReporters that the state was heavily indebted to several banks and other financial institutions because, as governor, Mr. Saraki used state funds and assets to engage in private businesses. Some of Mr. Saraki’s questionable transactions during his governorship are now the subject of investigation and court trials. Two of our sources disclosed that the atmosphere in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, had become tense after residents read reports published by SaharaReporters regarding Mr. Saraki extensive money laundering schemes and how the current senator and some members of his family had mortgaged the state in a series of corrupt deals to the detriment of residents. A staff in Governor Ahmed’s administration told our reporter he knew that trouble brewed when the state governor canceled an elaborate plan to give Mr. Saraki a rousing welcome at the Ilorin Airport. “Several announcements had been made on the radio ordering political office holders in the state to be at the airport to welcome the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki. But the plan was abandoned when the governor realized that the citizens of the state viewed the planned ceremony with disdain,” said the source. Our correspondent reported that Mr. Saraki’s residence in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) of Ilorin was in a decidedly low-key mode, with no presence of the indigent men and women who would typically throng the residence seeking alms during Muslim celebrations. The correspondent reported that there were three cars parked inside the residence. In recent years, several people had died at the premises of Mr. Saraki’s residence in Ilorin following a stampede for gifts from the senator, who for eight years was the governor of the state. Mr. Saraki is facing 13 counts of corruption charges at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja. He was formally arraigned last Tuesday, after a flurry of legal maneuvers by his lawyers to block the trial collapsed. (Source: SAHARA REPORTERS) 24 yrs boy started importation with N10,450. Religion / Don't Discard The Dream, It Will Come True by fountainsLtd: 2:41pm On Jul 04, 2015 |
God told me, DON'T DISCARD DE DREAMS, it will come true! Acts 27:18 When you get in a storm and the stress gets unbearable, you tend to start abandoning values and relationships you would not let go of in better times. You say, “I’m giving up on my marriage. I’m giving up on my dream to go to college.” God says, “Stay with the ship!” Have you done that in your marriage? Have you said, “Divorce is not an option for us. We’re going to make it work.” If you haven’t, you’ll always be tempted to walk out. If you don’t throw away the key, you’ll never develop the character God wants you to have. God can change situations and personalities. He can change you. But he won’t if you’re always abandoning ship! I’ve learned from personal experience that it is never God’s will to run from a difficult situation. God wants you to learn, grow, and develop. Stick with it. 2 Likes |

What is True Biblical Fellowshi? Acts 2:44-47 Some times familiar words lose their intended meaning. Such a word is "Fellowship" We use it a lot, but most times not in its biblical meaning. In our day the word is used to describe gathering ranging from coffee and donuts to worship services. Most times it is associated with gathering where there is eating. Now, there is nothing wrong with calling these fellowships. They are important and give us opportunity to be with one another to better get to know our church family. They are design to promote fellowship with each other. What I want to do today is look at the biblical use of the word and its use in Scripture and let it teach us what is true fellowship that God would have us to experience. The word used in Early Church, went far beyond occasional or regular gatherings, even though they met because of their common bond in Christ, and met at the same place and time, for a unified purpose. We learn in God's word that fellowship is a HEART issue, something to be felt and expressed, and something very important to be a part of. It should occur apart from any program, schedule, or activity. It is to be a way of life for believers in Jesus Christ to want to be in each other's company, to share things together and to help and support each other both physically and spiritually. If one of the members hurt we share that burden. join us coming Tuesday 30th of June @Citizens of Heaven Ministries, 1 NTA link road by mercy land junction off East-West road Nkpolu Port-Harcourt, Lets look at what fellowship meant to the early church. It is recorded in the New Testament to set an example for us today. All participants will go home with material gifts...come and experience the "ACT IN FELLOWSHIP"! Romance / Good 6 Ways To Speak To Your Loved Ones by fountainsLtd: 7:04pm On Jun 21, 2015 |
!Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. ―Plato At a time in history when we are communicating more rapidly than ever – via texts, tweets and email volleys, one after the next – it seems there is hardly anyone among us who couldn’t use some tips to facilitate more heartfelt communication for our in-person interactions with the people we care about most. Here are some ideas to get you started: 1. Tell them how important they are, often. Here’s a wake-up call for you: No matter how sure you are of someone’s love, it’s always nice to be reminded of it. Loving someone and having them love you back is the most precious phenomenon in the world, and it should be expressed as such. When you truly love someone, be loving in words and deeds every single day. Don’t beat around the bush. Be straightforward. If you appreciate someone today, tell them. If you adore someone today, show them. Hearts are often confused and broken by thoughtful words left unspoken and loving deeds left undone. There might not be a tomorrow. Today is the day to express your love and admiration. 2. Communicate your feelings openly. Your parents may have told you that it’s not what you say but how you say it that counts. This can be true in a professional setting, but when it comes to your closest relationships open, honest transparency is imperative. Express how you truly feel. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Give the important people in your life the information they need, rather than expecting them to know the unknowable. Express your fears, tears, doubts and insecurities – let your loved ones experience YOU. Have the courage to be yourself in front of them. Relationships flourish when both people are able to share their innermost feelings and thoughts about themselves and each other. To be fully seen by someone, in raw form, and be adored anyhow, is what love is. (Angel and I discuss this in detail in the Relationships chapter of 1,000 Little Things Happy, Successful People Do Differently.) 3. Speak the truth. As a wise man once said, “I tell the truth because it’s the easiest thing to remember.” Living through a facade puts an incredible burden on your emotional well-being. Speaking the truth, even and most often when it hurts, frees mental space and increases your ability to connect with the people you care about. Keep in mind that a large part of such openness requires taking personal responsibility for your wrong doings. If you know, for instance, that your actions or words have hurt a loved one, you must immediately admit your faults and face reality. If you live for the truth now, you will find comfort and peace in the end. If you live for comfort and peace now by avoiding the truth, you will get neither comfort nor peace nor truth, only wishful thinking to begin, and lasting regret in the end. 4. Ask thoughtful questions and listen intently. Too often we underestimate the power of a thoughtful question and a listening ear that’s fully present and focused. Although it’s a simple act, it may very well be the most powerful act of caring – one which has the potential to turn a life around. And once you inquire, be sure you listen to understand, not to reply and hear yourself talk. Oftentimes a reply isn’t even necessary. Listening is a sincere attitude of the heart, a genuine desire to be with another that both attracts and heals, perhaps without ever saying a word. 5. Let your actions speak for themselves. Actions often speak much louder than words. When you love someone you have to act accordingly. They will be able to tell how you feel about them simply by the way you treat them over the long-term. You can say sorry a thousand times, or say “I love you” as much as you want, but if you’re not going to prove that the things you say are true, they aren’t. If you can’t show it, your words are not sincere. And remember, it’s not so much about how much you do for your loved ones as it is about the love you put into what you do for them. Learn what matters most to them and make a habit of it. 6. Touch. Touch has a lasting memory. Sometimes reaching out and taking someone’s hand is the beginning of a beautiful journey. Sometimes a long hug speaks louder than all the words in the world. Sometimes your lips can’t accurately articulate what you mean without using them to kiss. And sometimes, quite frankly, a moment of touching is the difference between hopeless despair and the ability to carry on. Physical touch can make or break a relationship and can communicate respect or ridicule. Some of us require touch more than others, but some physical interaction – be it a hug, a handshake, a pat on the back, or otherwise – is important in your closest relationships. Final Thoughts Lots of irritation and heartache can be avoided just by being more aware of what your loved ones value in communication. I encourage you to set aside an hour to discuss this article with someone you love. It may be eye-opening to gain more clarity about the way they like to be loved. Your turn… What do you say or do when you want to show someone you love them? How do you like others to show you that they love you? Please let us know by replying to johnihezuo@yahoo.com or 08063333384 1 Like |
