Politics / Former Decline In Crime Activities Now Bouncing Back! by foxgiovani(m): 7:34am On Aug 15, 2016
Former decline in criminal activities such as pick pocketing, snatching of ladies bags, breaking and entry into peoples house both in their and in their absence and other related crimes which had drastically gone down before now seems to bouncing back! Last week alone, two of my cousins were victim of these in Lagos and ph. Somebody should please help me to beg Mr president not to put this country in reverse gear. The harsh economy of the nation is now making people to go back to things they had left before. With the increase of everything in the market - rice, garri, palm oil etc people are now being compelled to commit crimes in order to feed. I know APC supporters will come here now to write thrash!

Since there is no more discrimination between HND & B.Sc, can HND holders be offered admission into Masters programme without running Pgd in Nigerian Universities? Has any university started offering HND holders direct admission for Masters?

CFCman:

Its sad that you're putting the blame on her husband's infidelity on her, and justifying his randiness.

The fact that the man is an African or Nigerian doesn't give him any special privilege to cheat on his wife. For crying out loud, the marriage is only 3 months old. What did his wife do to him to warrant such heartless acts of infidelity from him?

If I were in the woman's shoes, I would seriously consider filing for divorce. Or alternatively, she could forgive him but cut off her relationship with the two whores she thought were her friends.
the young man you quoted said the plain truth even though its bitter. Go round banks, tertiary institutions and most places, you will see married men chasing after ladies. It happens often and you know it. It is not as if I am in support of what the man did but two wrongs can not make a right. Divorce should be considered as last option. This thing is very common. How are u sure that after divorce, the next man that will come her way won't be indulging in such act. Sleeping with her friends is too bad. If he wants to do rubbish, he should at least respect his wife by not letting her know of his sexcapades. With time, he may completely quit such things sef.

All these immature newly weds and the silly advisers who knows no better.
Look O.P just tell the lady to confront her husband. He loves her and will of course moderate his ways. As for her girlfriends, those are not good to have as friends. But thinking of divorce already within 3 months of marriage because her husband is doing what almost every married Nigerian man is doing is so so ridiculous that am almost falling off my chair laughing. Just because her husband is doing some side chick and some people are saying divorce, so amusing. The husband should have some bounderies and be more discreet. His wife's friends are a no no. The relationships were on before he got married, but he should end it henceforth.

In Nigeria almost every married woman knows that her husband cheats or is bound to cheat at one point in time or another. It doesn't mean the man doesn't love his wife, its just part of the game. ''Responsible'' married men only find a way to be more discreet. But if the woman tries it, fiam you are sent off your husband's home, no apologies. This is Nigeria and Africa. You either accept things as they are or you go pay the bride price of a man, marry him, feed him, house him, clothe him, take care of his kids etc, then and only then you can expect him not to try some side chick even though you always complain of being tired instead of giving him the egusi to chop when ever he wants it. Accept that this is Nigeria, Men are bound to be men, and everyone shall live happily ever after.

If you like divorce your husband now - but be rest assured that you will keep marrying and divorcing Nigerian men till you go to the moon and find yourself a faultless extra terrestrial. Or you just stay single without forming any relationship with any man till the rest of your life.
Oya let the attack begin..
best advise so far, very realistic

Education / Enquiry On Typographic Error On WAEC Certificate by foxgiovani(m): 4:28am On May 24, 2016
Fellow Nairalanders, please I want to find out if court affidavit can be sworn to correct a typographic error on a WAEC certificate or if one can go to WAEC office to process for issuance of another certificate. Please if anyone has had a similar encounter kindly enlighten us on how you sorted it out. In this case, Bright was spelt as Bridght. The difference there is the letter "grin". Note that the certificate was issued by my secondary school and when I complained they said I should swear affidavit to correct it. Please, what do you think?
Politics / Re: Minimum Wage In Nigeria N18,000, Cost Of One Bag Of Rice N18,500, Its Ridiculous by foxgiovani(m): 9:28pm On May 22, 2016
Truth be told, Mr President's failures in checkmating the wide gap in exchange rate of naira to dollar is killing this country. He needs to step up his game. When 18k minimum wage was introduced, prices of things in the market went slightly up but what we are experiencing now is X 2 plus increment and that is solely due to dollar exchange rate. I know that some people here are blind to these things & will still want to argue. Brainless things!

Politics / Strike Becoming More Forceful As Banks Shuts Down Business in Delta State by foxgiovani(m): 2:46pm On May 18, 2016
The strike seems to be gathering momentum as banks are now closing down business due to the strike action. In Agbor, Delta State. Most banks that opened for business today have closed their gates to customers saying that they are now on strike. Now Mr. President is feeling the heat of leadership.

NLC and TUC should respect the decision of the industrial court and shelve the planned strike. Negotiating with the government is what will bring about a meaningful solution and not an indefinite strike that can't be enforced due to the division in NLC leadership.
