If our elites and religious clerics didnt lament and fight against outright violence in our societies (e.g bakassi, opc) maybe our situation would have been worse.

All those riots and ethnic cleansing in the north that the clerics and elites kept mute on and folded their arms to, how long did they think it wont come back to them?

America's reason for not selling weapons to us due to human right issues is just flawed, because human rights are to protect people, and the insurgents we seek these weapons to use on are depriving people of their fundamental human rights to life and freedom of worship.
