That you, a loner, aligns with the SE for their struggle does not mean the SS would align with them. I'm a Niger Deltan and I DO NOT endorse one Lower Niger. The last elections showed you were on the same page by rigging in Rivers, Imo and Edo.

This is not by religion. The struggle is personal. Let the SE remain and keep their dream alive but know the Niger Delta and the entirety of the SS is NOT a part of their struggle.
you don't speak for the SS and Niger delta.
I'm a Deltan, I endorse the Lower Niger.

No one cares about an Igbo president anymore.
It is the Lower Niger, we yearn for.

And you think you speak for the SS/SE?
No, that's why it is only sensible that a poll be held in the SE & SS to determine the fate of the Lower Niger, as it was done in Scotland to determine if they remain with Britian.

Blockhead, why ranting on social mediahuh And who is trying to stop uhuh U guys are !d!ots and clowns at the same time. It's only u Igbo lowlives that are crying wolf here. Just let Rochas or Roaches, Amaechi and all those well established and well-to-do Igbos hear u with ur social media illusion, na amadioha dem go take swear for una. Mumu
I won't stoop so low to insult your entire tribe, but you in particular, is a total simpleton and an slowpoke wrapped up in one.
You say it is low income earning Igbos that are pushing for self determination. Is Ohaneze Ndigbo an organisation headed by low income earners?

Simpleton, You still haven't said why you are so desperate to be in the same country with the Igbos you so much hate?

You call it intimidationhuh That exposed u as a stark ignorant like ur ancestors who led u to be slaughtered and fled. Yet u regard them as heroes. I've never seen a tribe so lacking in intelligence. Yorubas have no problem with Nigeria. It is often said that it is the loosing side who always want the match ended soon. LOOSERS!
it is you that is the simpleton, you have reduced a unique (but far from perfect) union to a simple match, where someone loses while the other wins.
Get this clear, this is not 1967, A people's right to self determination and self rule can't be trampled on.
But is it by force to be in the same country with you? I dont like you, you dont like me, na by force? why should we be together? Answer!

But to punish you ingrates, we will keep everyone in Nigeria.
first of all, you don't speak for your tribe.
Secondly, you can't be said to be punishing someone when you are also getting the full dose.

I only watched a lil part of the documentary. From what I gathered, AIT mocked Buhari's dead child in the documentary. Is that acceptable? They also said Buhari sentenced a woman to death by firing squad. Further findings prove this to be false. In fact, it reached a point that NBC told AIT to stop airing the documentary. Moreover, Buhari is the custodian of the residence, doesn't he reserve the right to bar someone from entering it based on "family & security issues"? It is not as if he banned AIT from working. He's got no such powers now.
Untrue, Buhari's daughter died from sickle cell anaemia and that's how AIT reported it.

Only the S/E don't have a right to speak for the S/S, you can't ask me not to speak on a matter that concerns me, while the S/E has been going about dragging them into their personal issue.

like I said earlier, those that want to join are free to join you guys, but those that don't want to join should please be left out of this issue, in peace.

Does that amount to speaking for the "whole" S/S?
I think it is the SE that is itching the most for this.

You don't speak for the SS, just as the SE doesn't speak for the SS, but I know the the SS would not refuse to rid themselves of the north.

The south east should push for fg to organise a poll on whether we stay in the country or not.
With all the history and 'legitimacy' of Britain, Scotland was allowed to decide if they stay or not, talkless of a country formed by slave traders.

No, that is not going to happen.
It will either be regionalism or peaceful disintegration.

Its bar not ban. Its just a decision to freeze out ait frm covering his activities which he has a right to, he hasnt stopped them frm airing what they feel abt him. Its a way of punishing mediocrity, stupidity, impunity, no regard for rule of law people, nta case is understandable as it was in gej willpower, but ait just like channels or stv had the chance to play journalism with ethics and protect all sides and not give another excess priviledge but it did, the common man was bruised and raped its firm with the fg at their mercy. This is a signal to those who would rape our rule of law again! Mods laslastica pls fp so dummies can knw why
AIT should be our last concern, it is not them that are to run the affairs of this country.
It is Buhari's seemingly unchanged hate for free press that is worrying.
GEJ never barred Sahara, by Buhari taking this move he is already taking things for granted and the people should show their displeasure.

Asaba is technically the first capital of Nigeria.
In 1830, the Igbos captured the Lander brothers, british explorers that landed in Asaba.
The Royal Niger Company had to move from Asaba to Calabar because of the Ekumeku resistance.

even part of Onitsha speak exactly like Iselle Uku. I have to say Igboid because Ndokwa and Ika have unique dialects.

Thank you for the informative piece. I do mostly hear of Asaba in Nigeria films. Something about Manyi Asaba. The woman with the breast that gives riches.Lol. It sounded more like an Igbo town to me. From your write I bet it is save to say Delta State has a sizable Igbo population. You didnot mention Ijaws as group in Delta. Are they not a major tribe in Delta State?
Anioma has more than 33% of the population in Delta, 9 out of the 25 LGAs, the Aniomas comprising of Aniocha, Ndokwa, Ika and Oshimili speak igboid languages, Anioma culture has Bini influence.

My Grandma told me that when the current Oba of Benin, Oba Ereduwa was being coronated, the efigie (traditional staff of authority) needed for the ritual was no where to be found, probably looted by colonial robbers. A replica efigie was gotten from Iselle Uku an Anioma kingdom.

If shooting nollywood movies made it a big city then those thick villages in some states that they shoot most epic movies are also cites just because nollywood movies are involved right?hun!.I am talking about infrastructures and development and I havnt even mention oil wells.
Please if you want to argue or convince me,be practical with examples.
Lagos was used for movies those days and not Ogbomosho, and these movies were not village films, this showed that there was healthy development that was in Lagos and not in Ogbomosho.
But these film makers left Lagos for Asaba, why? Because lagos was saturated and congested as Warri is.
Unlike Warri, there is no tribal strife in Asaba talk less of actual fighting.
Asaba is comfortably close to the 3rd or 4th most economically important city in Nigeria, Onitsha.
Asaba was capital for the pre colonial Royal Niger Company.
The crime rate in Asaba does not even come close to that in Warri.

For all intent and purposes, I may as well be an Anioma person. There's nowhere I stated in the article that I am against the location of the capital or that I'm an Urhobo person. Please be careful with accusations. Look at my previous threads and see my pattern.
