Emekatex, thanks so much for handling that post with maturity. Pls, the 'wait' is almost at the end, we should be patient and stop entertaining fears. God who started this will see it to the end so let's cool down. Meanwhile those of you that have relations at the boards should try and get some information for us on when this posting will be out.

Pls did those that finished their training today collect their certificates?

Cruize306: Point of correction dude!!! INFORMATION do have plural but its plural form is unchanged (ie still INFORMATION). Because of this, its also wrong to say AN INFORMATION because its plural or singular form is the same

To whom it may concern-Pls 'information' does not have plural and there's nothing wrong with diplomatically correcting someone. No one is perfect. We learn every day. Pls let's learn to humbly take corrections & those correcting, should also learn not to be rude about it. One luv.

Vivajoy & Uogwoh, please it's ok for heaven's sake. I know we're all tensed up in anticipation of this 'posting', but that's no reason to start abusing & cursing each other. Pls, let's use maturity on this forum by trying to control our emotions.

Raxxye: Fellow teachers and Nairalanders, I greet u all. Please let's not insult ourselves over the issue of posting because our discussions and argument here won't, in any way, affect the posting.

Secondly, let's try and improve on our spellings so that we can master them, especially now that we are going to be teaching children in Primary and post-primary school, who would be looking up to us as role-models. The spellings are really poor and we must do something about them, and fast too!

. Very good advise. I've observed that too. Please let this advice be taken so that you don't go and make a fool of yourself. This children can be very mischievious and once they loose confidence in you, they've lost it. I'm a teacher already so I'm in a better position to tell you. Avoid ugly names being given to you by them.

. From a reliable source, salary is 70k for all bachelor degree holders, whether Bsc, Bed etc.

. I believe none of us lobbied for this job. It was purely a transparent process. Those of us that are successful, it's not cos we're more intelligent than those that aren't. It's purely destiny. There's a reason why it's so. So we should take wherever we're posted in good faith and know that God has a purpose for doing that. Remember how you PRAYED and FASTED for this job. God will never give you more than you can chew. I wish all of us favourable posting and may God's will be done.

blevi: Hello my fellow teachers, I have made some research from d board and old teachers, they said posting is based on your LGA. But they may consider subjects like maths and English because they lack teachers of those subjects.so if u are not a maths or Enlish teacher and you are not from Port Harcourt Lga,then sorry because no hope for u.

olua: About nursing mother concerning what I am hearing that mothers should not carry their child to the training, for that does it mean that Nursing mother are not allowed to partake for the training.

. For sure, nursing mothers are allowed in the training. All they require is for you to bring someone that can take care of your child while you're in the classroom so that you can go and breastfeed at intervals. They only don't want them in the classroom during lectures. All the best.

Hope you know teachers are ROLE MODELS and you musn't do the wrong thing cos every other person is doing it. You'd better re-structure your way of thinking for whatever you sow, you'll definitely reap.

. To get to Rumueme girls, just get to Agip junction on Sanni Abacha road, GRA and ask for the school. For Rumuokuta girls, get to Rumuokuta junction and ask, they'll show you. They're not hard to locate.

. The next batch will commence their training next week Monday, and I heard it's all non indigenes for PPSB. Venue is either Rumuokuta or Rumueme.

For those that will end their training today, when will posting letter be given? Also, do they have their own bank in the opening of salary account or will one use the bank he/she already has?

Cruize306: @Hopesweet Federal Govt Salary scale is not consistent. Teachers are paid 45k at the federal level. 120k for level 8 in Federal parastatal is definitely not a teaching, police or prison warders. They are the least paid

I'm afraid your information is not so correct, I'm reliably telling u that Prisons,police are among, if not the highest paid in civil service recently. A Gl 8 in prisons earns 90k.
