Exactly!! wealthyprince: I dont understand why scholars will leave important issues to concentrate on minor and unprofitable issue that point to descrimination, quarels, and insults. If u are a teacher be a teacher...a mature and responsible one...show us that u are educated and that depends on how u discuss, present and handles issues here. To me, i think is not every post that deserve a reply...some are just good to ignore for peace sake. |
I need advise right now.. My elder brother was among one of the new recruited teachers. But he's working elsewhere(a private marine company that pays 65k monthly).. Is it advisable for him to abandon that job and teach or can I replace him(unto impersonation).. I just finished youth service and I'm not doing anything for now[/quote.]. Think of d number of years you 'll stay in prison if caught. This is nothing but impersonation cos u're not ur brother. Better wait for your turn! |
Any news about salary pls |
lele Ekpa: No more rumour! Your salary is #60,000 p/m and payment is this month with arrears. Instructions given. Thanks. For sure? Instructions from where? |
Advertico: I getting info that inspectors are going round schools and that some of the new teachers that are not present are being sacked. Pls any confirmation?. Well, yes the supervisors are going round. Came to my school, Gss Umuagbai on Wed. All the new teachers were present. |
Fiafiad: The UBE Board have just made nonsence of the entire recruitment process.. Why bother yourself? Some people miss their blessing from God in so many ways cos thry feel they know better than Him. Just relax. Now the issue of salary should be hurriedly addressed a beg. |
dexpee4life: As of Mon, my principal was still collecting files for submission. In fact, she told those whose documents were not complete to do that which leaves me wondering when d suspension was announced. My sis, you are not alone in this suspense. Let me give you a fact you need that will encourage you if you are in PPSB. Note that the submission of files of the already posted teachers by all principals has since being suspended. This is done so as to be fare to all. The Principals were asked to submit when they must have being through with all the ommited names. Even those persons that tried to protest on Monday did not make any difference because they were told same but they still continued on the protest which I doubt if it yielded any benefit. So just relax because it is indirectly to our favour. Pls dont believe rumours of selling slots because it has nothing to do with omitted names |
Pls has anybody being given account number, fellow colleagues? |
Stanbic bank came to our school for us(new teachers) to bank with them so I made an enquiry from the principal who told me the four banks they use in the school but that stanbic is sourcing for customers so that when they get enough names, they'll present them to the board that these are the people banking with them, after the board has taken down those names, the remaining names without banks will now have banks assigned to them while stanbic will be added among the banks. She told me that we don't choose banks ourselves, the govt does that. She also said that when Eco bank which is now among their banks came to source for customers some few years bank and promised them loan, many teachers wanted to change from the banks assigned to them to Eco but it was a herculean task. So she advised me that it's better I register with Stanbic in case we don't like the bank we'll be assigned to. |
Please they should post more teachers to my school(ppsb I mean) Gss Umuagbai. We're only 30 new teachers with about 6 old teachers apart from principal, V.P academics and V.P admin, but apart from the distance the school is ok. |
Thanks, @ppraiseglory though it's my friend that is highly welcome to Sogho town. Lol |
Pls can someone assist my friend, our fellow colleague on how to get to Gss Sogho. |
A source told me that her Ube teacher friend told her that they were told to open their acct with Gtb. |
Someone assured me that it's after 3months that we'll be paid so it means ending of this month. Ours will not be different. They just paid d state govt workers their Sep salary yesterday. |
Samikroose: My fellow teachers, can we now discuss d issue of payment. Who knows wen we are submitin our account numbers? because we are supose 2 get our pay by dis month end.Heard Ube teachers have completed all their bank details. Please is it true Ube teachers and if so, how did u go about it and which bank did you use? |
QueenEsther1: From Mile 3 park, enter Abua bus( N500) The school is along the way in Abua central.. Thanks |
A friend of mine posted to Gss Abua is asking how she can get there. Pls help. |
Pla our colleagues in UBE that have done theirs: after duplicating the 'resumption of duty cert' form into 4 copies, are we to submit all to the school or are there other places to submit? |
Thankgod iyke: pls house i need suggestion on how to go about this.. They probably gave you somone else's result. |
dexpee4life: WOW!!! What a job. How will they post my newly married wife to a place (GSS NGO) very far from me, where she has to cross a very big water to with a baby of 5months. Moreover, she has not crossed water before. Is it because I married her as a non-indigine? This is quite unfair. May be the Lord has a better job in store for her. May His Will be doneEiyaa... Quite painful, after all d "wait' but I'll suggest your wife reports first and make arrangements with d principal. Since it's a second school, she might not have to be going everyday. Wish her luck. It's well my brother. |
Thankgod iyke: almost everyone is complaining about this posting..and i will not mince words to say the board was very insensitive, incosiderate and unfair to us especially the non indigenes..they never considered address, marital status and origin..(some people are aquaphobic) the worst is that you can not change until after 2 years -that is if u dont have 'Oga at the top'. Well my fellow colleagues, in every situation we must thank God for He knows best. Let's try to accept the job in good faith and painfully make the necessary adjustments needed. It won't be wise to reject the job outrightly without first reporting to your place of primary assignment and then using your sense of judgement. Remember, this is just d starting point and there's no problem without a solution. The God that brought us to this will surely see us through. It's well. |
Hopesweet: You are welcome Dear. The school is nice, and there used to be 24 hrs light in the community. From Rumuola, u can get there within 1hr'3o minute, if there is no traffic hold-up. Then u will spent about 400 Naira to get there.. Thanks dear. |
Can someone help my friend posted to Gss Abua by giving directions. |
Hopesweet: Babe, u got to be very sure of the name first, because the Oyigbo own is spelt Umuagbai and not Umuagba. But if u're sure, from NTA road, enter cap to rumuola bus stop, then board any bus going to inside Oyigbo. At the market u will see buses going to umuagbai direct. The school is along the road. Atleast, l did my INEC registration there during NYSC.. Thanx Hopesweet. Pls how is d school? How much will it cost to get there from Rumuola? Is the trip up to 1hr? |
Fabmoniks: ?o start with, am not a guy. Am a woman with children. Now u knw why am lamenting so much. In as much as i appreciate ur offer of help, i? will only help me on locating. It's well my dear. Why don't you report first to the school, tell the principal your situation and see how it can be worked out rather than rejecting this once-in-a-lifetime job. That's if d 'swapping' doesn't work. Good luck. |
bugila: From Port-Harcourt to Oyigbo, from Oyigbo to Umuagba direct.. Thanks a lot. |
