The greatest of the greatest Nigeria Student! Am very excited over this great step and action taken. by most of us today. It shows oness, one mind, one voice and uniqueness amongs us. We are in era where hands cannot be folded any longer and let the government treat youths like puppets. Thank God for the peaceful protest today, it shows that youth stands for peace, love and harmony in our society. The chain of "seat and look" and "we leave it for God" has been broken today and I thank God it was peaceful. Whatever the govt. want to tell us let them say it with truth and sincerity instead of dumb atitudes to the entire Batch A Stream 2 2016 Corpers. All those judas trying to hinder the execise of today and oness of the entire PCMs, is only God that will judge. We are not rebelious but with the little revolutionary acts exercised by we youths today, it shows we are in to transform the nation in a justified means.

Goodmorning my people, I believe we all have a blissful night, I wish everyone of us a blessed day as we await goodnews from nysc..,

My fellow ever gallant and articulate PCMs my greetings to you all, my sincere gratitude goes to everyone that left the comfort of their home to take part in today's protest and also those that left no stone unturned in the social media protest, I must say that you guys are the Moses of our time for taking the bull by the horn in going into the street in the act of civil and peaceful protest to free all 2016 batch A stream 2 PCMs from the undue captivity of this great Pharaoh called NYSC, I am convinced that the undaunting effort of you guys to embark on this protest will undoutedly enable everyone of us to triumphantly cross the red sea of nysc postponement in the shortest time. It gladdens my heart to know that we have successfully made nysc to come out of their shell and give answers though not definte enough to some questions bordering our minds, they have also raise our hope of being in camp next week eventhough the hope may seem glimmer. This is an indication that the primary objectives of our protest has been achieved. What more can we do now than to give thanks to the Almighty God/Allah for making our struggle a victorious one. By the special grace of God we shall all be in camp each and severally to serve our fatherland come next week. Thanks to everyone that have shown commitment to our course in one way or the other once again.
May God grant our struggle well deserved success.

LETTER TO ALL PCMs Goodmorning my fellow PCMs, today is indeed the day the lord has made we shall protest and let our voices be heard in it, It is no more news that the authority of NYSC and the Minister of youths and sport are fully aware of our protest today, all thanks to the information age, we are now in the era whereby information fly at the speed that superceeds the speed of light, with their full awareness of our planed protest their doubt will be cleard that we are youths capable of taking our destiny into our own hands and manipulate our fate to our common good. We have heard more than enough official announcement from nysc that later turned out to be big fat lies and as such that of yesterday on their various official online platforms should be disregarded, the statements of the DG yesterday on NTA that we will be in camp next week should also be disregarded as well, they are mere decoy to distract us from our decision to ensure that our voices are heard today through our peaceful protest. The statement is an incoherent lies to silent us and ensure our grienvance is not known to all Nigerians. Their is no doubt that today's peaceful protest is a done deal because it is high time we made our voices heard, it is high time we took our destiny into our own hands, it is high time we say no to this unnecessary delay. Please we should all ensure that we are civil enough and avoid the break down of law and other before, during and after the protest. For those that are in the states where their will be no protest, please lets give our comprade in Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan and Benin embarking on the physical protest massive reinforcement on the social media. I want to commend u guys for ur patience, all I want to say is to add to what others av been saying to give nysc a little more time considering the report of the interview granted by the minister and DG. It's shows the situation is beyond there control and they are also mounting pressure on the necessary ministries to release fund. I will advise u shelve the protest and give them a little more time cause for them to have come on air and address the public, it means they have been listening to u guys all along just that they don't av the financial muscle to camp thousands of pcm at this time.
My submission is that u give them little more time.

when we protest, its not only nysc that will hear us, all the authorities concern we hear us, be it the minister of finance, budget and planning and indeed the presidency, all of them we hear us, so protest is now our last resort if our voices must be heard by all d the authorities concern...

Benin PCMs are doing excellent job, I have been sharing info on different platforms as regards the activities of benin pcms, but I gave the guy detail info about lagos because he stays in lagos...

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is
an organization set up by the Nigerian
government to involve the country's graduates
in the development of the country. There is no
military conscription in Nigeria, but since
1973 graduates of universities and later
polytechnics have been required to take part
in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)

national service year. Ahmadu Ali served as
the organizations's first Director-General until

Operations
"Corp" members are posted to cities far from
their city of origin, although this posting has
recently been marred with series of
favouritism. They are expected to mix with
people of other tribes, social and family
backgrounds, to learn the culture of the
indigenes in the place they are posted to. This
action is aimed at bringing about unity in the
country and to help youths appreciate other
ethnic groups. There is an "orientation" period
of approximately three weeks spent in a
military controlled boot "camp" away from
family and friends. There is also a "passing
out ceremony" at the end of the year and
primary assignment followed by one month of
vacation.
Merit
The program has also helped in creating
entry-level jobs for many Nigerian youth. An
NYSC forum dedicated to the NYSC members
was built to bridge the gap amongst members
serving across Nigeria and also an avenue for
corpers to share job information and career
resources as well as getting loans from the
National Directorate Of Employment.
Demerit
The program has been met with serious
criticism by a large portion of the country. The
NYSC members have complained of being
underpaid, paid late or not paid at all. [4]
Several youths carrying out the NYSC program
have been killed in the regions where they
were sent due to religious violence, ethnic
violence or political violence.

am not sure of any arrangement in akwaibom, pls those that are in states where their is no arrangement for protest tomorrow should be fervent in the online protest why the physical protest is going on. We need to bombard them from different angles... They must definitely feel the heat tomorrow.

tnx mehn ... what we so far decided was that we will converge at unity fountain by 7:30-8am then by 8:45 we start the journey. dress code is white and white or white top only is welcome... Another issue that is on ground now is that we are in police station now and they said we will give them 22 hr but we told them NO because the protest is nation wide so Abuja will not be an exception. so protest will go on as schedule

yea yea infact Lagos and Abuja are at the center of focus in the protest. Lagos pcms that want to partake in the protest are expected to converge at shoprite in Ikeja Lagos by 8:00am tomorrow, Everyone is expect to be in white T shirt and/or canvass.

I just got a reply from comrade Austin Osakwe "Thanks again. Once you decide, pls communicate same to me. We can send some of our comrades to accompany you on the protest. A police notification is a mere formality. The law grants you the right to freedom of assembly and peaceful protest. Be assured that we will lend our voices to your quest. I shall be on EBS tomorrow morning by 9.00 am and will touch on it. Other strategies may be employed once you firm up your arrangements. Wishing you Godspeed."

Your effort is well appreciated, the only condition that I think can reverse the decision to embark on this protest tomorrow is if nysc announce the date of stream 2 camping before the end of today and the date must not exceed next week otherwise the protest must be a done deal, pls try to get back to us here with the final conclusion in your group as regards the time of commencement and place to converge in Abuja, so that we can get the info across board to everyone...
