Many Nigerians are wicked and actually hateful of good things. No wonder you get the type of leaders you have. Those posting and reposting those dirty pics on this thread. |
nairalndPOLICE:You are dumb. Development is a collective effort by govts and private individuals. Here the private sector has played a big role. The govt has not. |
nairalndPOLICE:In the US, healthcare is not cheap. Without insurance most will be screwed. Why does Nigeria not do health insurance for its citizens? It's done even in small Kenya. |
nairalndPOLICE:What's your point though? That these public rot are not in other parts of Nigeria? |
With my global health insurance coverage from CIGNA. , I am guaranteed treatment here should I be in Nigeria and needed treatment. |
Oyind17:Yeah! Blame the private investor and not your govts who refused to establish cheap hospitals |
nairalndPOLICE:Well, this is a private hospital. In Nigeria private efforts actually work, unlike govt ones |
Does anyone appreciate the distant background of this photo? See how green and luscious Alaigbo is?

okeke00:You are an hediot, Op. Are the LG and State officials in SW and the North doing better than their SE counterparts? If not why are Sw and northern folks not killing them, but instead are chasing the federal dollars to the exclusion of SE? |
youngpol:There is no country called Biafra for now. So deal with the question and stop deflecting it. |
Missy89:Not a JJC, 6 years driving in MD, and this is the first time experiencing this. |
Logician:With LASTMA, they will physically assault you and if they are unable to do so, will pursue you to death just to collect bribe money from you. I no need them. |
I was recently nabbed by an electronic speed trap for over-speeding on Georgia Avenue, Maryland (MD) USA. No interaction between you and the police; just you and the camera that caught you. No lying, no argument. So pay up your fine, or face the consequence in court. When will Nigeria be like this?

ISpiksDaTroof:Your nefarious Yorubaish intention in making a linkage btwn a disgraced non Igbo US politician and a seating innocent Igbo US politician is clear. |

Thst being said, the action of the Akure Oba and his youths demonstrates the deep agberoic culture of Yorubas. Dudes are complete thugs, leaders and followers alike |
Thank God the Oba Akure is a NAIRALANDER and has read and moved as I requested in this thread. |
9jacrip:Yes, really Few examples, D. Mayor in US, several Parliamentarians in UK and Poland, President in Gabon, etc, etc |
ayindepremier:Igbos are not your mates. You can collabo with your fellow almajiris, Hausa/Fulani (to form the new majority) to rig everything in Nigeria. But outside of Nigeria where the playing ground is level, you ngb-ati ngba-ti people are no match to Igbos. |
Not many Nigerians are aware for instance that the deputy mayor of Newark, New Jersey, United States is Ugochukwu Nwaokoro, a fellow citizen from Abia State.http://legisreportsng.com/opinion-nigeria-rising-from-brain-drain-to-brain-gain-by-oke-epia/ http://www.humanityforafrica.org/tradeandinvestment.htm Photo of Nkama, a Judge in Newark

Time to abolish Eze Ndigbo garbage? A short contribution So we read how Ondo youths disgraced an Eze of Igbos in Akure, Yorubaland. Many were shocked but I am not, because I know better. I know that Yoruba youths (and folks in general) have no real respect for Kings. They can play all the dobale lip service Yorubas are known for. Yoruba youths/men have been known to beat up, chase out, or even burn the palaces of their own kings. Few examples (there are many floating on cyberspace): http://naijagists.com/why-oba-folabi-odidiomothe-olu-of-igbokoda-in-ilaje-ondo-was-chased-out-of-palace/ http://naijagists.com/oba-pius-akinfesola-adewole-ondo-monarch-chased-out-of-palace-over-corruption/ http://sunnewsonline.com/new/ogun-chieftaincy-palaver-10-village-heads-beat-monarch/ http://www.osundefender.org/?p=98066 http://naijalog.com/photos-ogun-king-beaten-stripped-palace-burnt/ http://sunnewsonline.com/new/osun-local-militia-gives-monarch-communities-hell/ So who is an Eze Ndigbo to be treated otherwise in Yorubaland? With this background, I have no pity for the man (I mean the Igbo king in Ondo) who was slapped, flogged and de-robed in Akure by Ondo youths becaue it is routine practice in those climes. To begin with, I detest the idea of ‘Eze ndigbo’ in any Nigerian city outside Igboland. All culture/tradition is local, and as such should be played locally. You cannot take your culture and transplant it to where it does not naturally hold sway. For example, despite thousands of Americans or Indians living in Nigeria, how many ‘American (or Indian) citizen’s union’ chairmanship positions have you heard of in Nigeria? They know better to not try to be obnoxious with their culture in another man’s land, especially when not appreciated. It is time to stop the Eze ndigbo shenanigan in towns and cities outside Igbo land. They do not contribute anything to the socio-economic wellbeing of Igbos in such cities. The sphere of influence of Igbo kings should be restricted to Igboland, as should be those of other ethnic groups. Igbos in Akure, Lagos, Kano etc do not need an Eze to get themselves organized into groups. What they need are town unions at the lower rungs of the ladder, and then a committee of town union heads at the higher rungs of the ladder (state level) leading the entire Igbos in a particular state, with a chairman and other officials elected on a democratic basis. Therefore, all kings in non-Igbo Nigerian states should stop conferring these WORTHLESS titles to Igbos in their domains. I know it is done by these non-Igbo kings to fleece money from Igbo money bags who are ever willing to show off their wealth and who would never become royalty in Igboland were they resident there. |
asha80:In space, yes news has no boundaries but in time, not really. It takes more time to upload breaking news onto cyberspace, and then for it to be available globally than it would be just sitting down and watching it in real time on TV in the source country/location. |
