Politics / Re: Okah’s Interview With Aljazeera Faked: Security Operatives Doubt Authenticity by frankkie: 12:35am On Oct 10, 2010
I am surprised that Nigerians have not realised that Mr. Okah is a big part of the Independence Day Bomb Blast puzzle.

The issues seem very clear to me. The chain of events immediately after the blast indicate a high level on the part of a group of people to destabilise the President by any means necessary.

First, why would a Government aide call Okah in South Africa and not any of the other MEND leaders in Nigeria to retract their statement? Afterall Okah denies any involvement in the blast.

Why did Okah grant the interview to Aljazeera except he was being paid to whip up Anti-Jonathan sentiments in the North? Why did the 'Northern elders' pretend to capitalise on that to ask for the President's resignation? Why have some of these people now gone to court to compel the National Assembly to commence impeachment proceedings against the President?

You can see that Okah and his paymasters are just acting out a script. Nigerians should not be fooled. We all know that under all the past presidents in Nigeria no one has ever been asked to resign over such a tragic incident. Recall Boko Haram, Jos killings etc.

I wonder if Henry Okah would be ready to take a lie detector test? We should start subjecting people to lie detector tests as is common all over the world.
It is time to start fighting these terrorists with more sophisticated methods then we are currently displaying.

Of course Aljazeera have their own agenda! For example, in that Okah Interview, what better place to fan the embers of hate by insinuating that the President wanted him to blame the 'North' for the bombings?

I am surprised that Nigerians have not realised that Mr. Okah is a big part of the Independence Day Bomb Blast puzzle.

These new promos where vulnerable subscribers are required to text to a number for N100 per SMS is very fradulent.
If only five million subscribers text daily the company stands to rake in N500 million daily for the next three months the promo is running.
This particular promo which does not even depend on your airtime usage is unconscionable.
Nigerians are being fleeced daily. CPC, NCC, Lottery regulation please call them to order.
THE PROMO IS STILL VERY MUCH ON

Aondokaa, now you will have time to visit our Former President for Saudi. Infact you can also work from there, since everyone can work from anywhere. We dont want to see you in this country!!

When will the Courts or the Legislature demand to hear first-hand from the Doctors treating the President? Afterall we have been consistently told that only his Doctors can say when he is coming back. Why are we not posing our questions to the right quarters?

In the USA whenever they have their commissions of enquiry they have no qualms summoning anyone with useful information from any part of the world to help them get to the truth. Its time for our lawmakers to be more imaginative.

After sinking N28 Billion into the Yaradua Offshore President project, do you think this man will resign??

This excerpt is from the Guardian Newspapers:

"President Yar'Adua had in the last 61 days been receiving treatment in a Saudi Hospital, though there were unconfirmed reports that he might have left the King Fasaid Specialist Hospital in Jeddah. The source also revealed that to convince his doctors that he would continue his medication in Nigeria, a giant construction company (name withheld) has been hired to build an Intensive Care Unit with life support machine in Aso Rock, Abuja.

It was gathered that the plan of this 'hardliners' is being coordinated by the President's wife Turai, who the source said "comes to Nigeria every other week to see to the lobbying of the members of the National Assembly not to allow debate that can make them pass any resolution that will mandate Yar'Adua to transmit any letter making Vice President Goodluck Jonathan as Acting President or call for his impeachment.
The source revealed that about N28 billion might have been spent in the last 60 days to maintain the status quo.
