It seems English language is the problem let's look at these closely they said we only have to fulfill one of them on the list All applicants who fulfill one of the following criteria can register with the “A - list”:
holding a TestAS certificate with a standard score of 100 - 130 holding a very good B-1 language certificate from the Goethe Institute (90 points and more) or holding a good B-2 language certificate from the Goethe Institute (80 points or more) or holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class - 2. Lower Class and being accepted for a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program) or PhD study in Germany or holding a scholarship from a German institution for a study or a PhD in Germany or holding a signed “Aufnahmevereinbarung” / hosting agreement concerning your research fellowship with a university or research institute accepted by the “BAMF” All other applicants need to register with the “B - list”.
Important! One of those criteria you need to proof at your appointment in the Consulate. If you have applied for a priority appointment on the A-list without being able to proof any of these criterias, the application will be rejected immediately and without any further examination. |

Goztino: @Eldee, Guten Tag Herr, This is what I just received from Karlshure university of Applied Sciences, I don't understand what they mean here The acceptance is CONDITIONAL and requires you to hand proof of 6 credits in GIS at academic level.
Dear Student,
Enclosed you will find a copy of the acceptance letter. Please use this to start your visa application process as quickly as possible, the original acceptance letter is on its way to you by post. Note: The acceptance is CONDITIONAL and requires you to hand proof of 6 credits in GIS at academic level.
Please check if the postal address given on the letter is correct and inform us of any changes in your postal address.
Should you have questions concerning the conditions for admission please contact directly Prof. -------
There is a tuition fee of 1,500 euros per semester for international students. Also, there are administrative and student service fees of 160 Euro in total per semester, which cannot be waived. Living costs in Karlsruhe are approx. 700 Euro per month. Applicants for student visa at the embassy will need to provide financial proof.
IMPORTANT: In all further emails, please indicate your name as given in the reference line of this email ("invitation letter your name" . This will save us a lot of effort and makes your admission procedure quicker and smoother! Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely, Also esri is currently running a course on cartography, you could register now and do the course after the course you send the certificate to them hope this also helps And it's 6 weeks not 4 weeks the course started since last week Just let the school know you are currently doing a mooc with esri and you will be awarded your certificate in may |

Eldeee: Congratulations my brother, am so sorry for responding kinda late, honestly am just seeing your post, I have been offline for some days now.
As regards this, I also had exactly the same issue. But from their explanations, they mean to say you didn't do enough courses in GIS during your undergraduate studies.
This is what I did, I looked out for institutions doing short courses on GIS got their certificate and send it immediately to the coordinator, and they sent me the admission without condition.
I actually used FUTA, there is a short course program they do, paid 20k, got my certificate and sent immediately. The only downside is they delayed giving me my certificate even after several worries and I was not happy with that, don't know if they have improved.
I want to believe ESRI have some free courses you can enroll in and get your certificate after 4 weeks or so. That I believe will also serve.
Am so glad you finally made it, kindly respond to the offer if you are interested. They usually don't admit so much, last year I think they are about 13 or 14 students admitted.
If you have any other issues, feel free to ask questions or kindly pm me. Hope this helps. Also esri is currently running a course on cartography, you could register now and do the course after the course you send the certificate to them hope this also helps And it's 6 weeks not 4 weeks the course started since last week Just let the school know you are currently doing a mooc with esri and you will be awarded your certificate in may |

You cant use the one from the hospital, if you were born after 1993, get from npc, if you were before 1993 get an age declaration..... Second question you can go to your secondary school and collect your waec or neco certificate ..... Some in the past have used statement of result but you will need a good reason of not having yours... |

Doziebobo: Hi Guys , this is to clear the air about tuition fees as regards University of Tubingen. I applied for summer semester admission and when my admission letter came out it was stated on the admission letter that non-european students would have to pay tuition fees. However, I got a mail the following day stating that the fees have been waived. See mail below : “Dear Sir or Madame the University of Tübingen hereby certifies that you will be exempted from the tuition fees. This exemption applies to citizens of the Least Developed Countries (UN) and ACP Countries starting summer term 2019. Please read the attached information / application letter, sign it, copy it as a PDF and send it to this email address…. Please present the document at our student administration office as soon as you have arrived at Tübingen.”
In summary it appears that Nigeria falls into “Least Developed Countries” and therefore, we are entitled to tuition fees exemption from the University of Tubingen. Hi please Nigerians who applied to Karlsruhe university of applied sciences need your help, i contacted the deputy dean of my study department and told her your school is not charging tuition fees from countries in LDC, she said the university is not willing to agree but if i can send her the mail your school sent to you and also the form you were sent and the name of course she will meet the university board and it will help favor Nigerians who applied to Karlsruhe University of applied sciences.... Please can you help me with this documents please |

Mystique20: Hi..... Do you mean you paid for a visa interview appointment before going for the interview? If the money you paid was for visa interview booking am sorry to say, you have been scammed... You only pay for the interview on the day of the interview to the visa officer conducting your interview... Am sorryi guys! So i don't want to say that I've been scammed because the day isn't over, however i got in touch with the individual whose post I'm quoting after he responded to my post asking for someone to help me with the appointment booking. We exchanged a few emails and finally agreed that I'll make half the payment and the other half upon confirmation, got his contact and account information, made payment today, sent him an email informing him that the payment had been made, i called the number but didn't get a response, now its no longer reachable.
We constantly complain about not being trusted by outsiders but don't make any effort to be different, i honestly hope that I'm wrong about my assumptions. However, if its truly the case of being scammed, i hope the fee solves all your problems,we learn everyday.
May the universe repay you as it sees fit. |

Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by freakky(m): 4:52pm On Aug 06, 2018 |
phodio: I can't help you on that. You will need to do that yourself. Check DAAD website and Google. It's a long but interesting thing to do. Sometimes you choose a course but after searching more you see another and cancel the previous one. Trust me, That feeling is enthralling and you feel relieved that you've searched yourself and made the best possible decision for yourself and not what one dude from nairaland told you. Everything is on the internet.
But then, a friend of mine got a very very easy admission offer. He studied your kind of course at undergrad level too. Got offer for MSc Geomatics from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences with only Letter of proficiency, open admission (ie the earlier you submit your admission the earlier you get your offer), without sending certified/notorised copy until admission offer was sent and everything completely online!. The only glitch with the offer was that the school is in Baden Württemberg where 1500€ per semester fee is applicable. So, it's left to you to search as he did. Even if a school tells you that you need toefl, you can still mail them that your undergraduate was taught in English. You definitely have all the time to search for now since it's against winter 2020
Good luck Bro wow please is this your friend on nairaland will love to connect with him so as to ask him few questions |
