Foreign Affairs › Re: North Korean Troops Pulled Back From Frontline After Heavy Losses by freakyamanda(f): 11:32am On Feb 02, 2025
Russia has Asian looking people. Please can you post the so called picture of dead NK soldiers.
Flier:
Dead bodies of NK Soldiers was all over the internet everyday and stopped for like 2 weeks now which means they have actually pulled back as the news says, you need to know that something is wrong if Russia can not kick Ukraine out of Kursks for more than 6 months now
As for people saying America is the only battle tested, this is wrong as I think it’s Russia and Ukraine
Drone war fare is the modern war fair and America will lose it if does to war against China at the moment
Only the Chinese is preparing for it by controlling 10,000 drones with just one computer, that is enough to wipe out 10,000 tanks or 10 battalion of soldiers
This war teaches the world that tanks is obsolete.
Foreign Affairs › Re: North Korean Troops Pulled Back From Frontline After Heavy Losses by freakyamanda(f): 6:55am On Feb 01, 2025
Believe these reports at your own peril. Have you seen images of dead North Korean soldiers? How come Ukraine is losing territory in Kursk just when the North Koreans are withdrawn. This is how you know when western media are lying; their report will not align with reality.
free2ryhme:
It seems like North Korean troops were thrown into the heat of battle in Russia’s Kursk region, but they weren’t prepared for the intensity. Unlike their ancestors who fought in the Korean War, these soldiers, probably inexperienced and lacking real combat history, suffered heavy losses. Reports say around 12,000 were sent, but a third of them have been killed or injured. No matter how much training they have, nothing beats the hard-earned experience that Ukrainian forces have after years of fighting. Looks like the North Koreans underestimated that reality.

Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. The moment Jews from Europe took over ancestral lands belonging to Palestinians, they lose any moral rights to call anyone terrorists. If they don't want to be attacked they can go back to Europe and live the Arab jews and Palestinians there. They can kill palestinians for a thousand years and will still not win.
Botragelad:
Where's Sinwar the coward? 😂
Executed like a pest with his broken teeth hanging out and his bacteria infested forehead smashed to bits underneath the Rubble.

Died like a coward, just like every Islamic terrorist will if they don't stop attacking Israel. Since you support China's method of getting rid of evil criminals and terrorists you should support Israel when **e eliminate Islamic terrorists and wipe their footprint off planet Earth.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Gaza Ceasefire begins As Hamas releases names of hostages to be freed today by freakyamanda(f): 12:12pm On Jan 20, 2025
They are not thoughtless actions. Palestinians have been peaceful before, what did that get them? They will not be the first people in history to fight for freedom and pay a heavy price for it. I am not Palestinian and can never understand nor comprehend their pain but I am always on the side of the oppressed. You took a people's land via international conspiracy and continue to oppress them but you want them to be gentle?
eldoradoxx:
Let them continue standing but not at the expense of the lives and properties of their own people. The October 6 incidence was needless. Over 40,000 Palestinians lost their lives for a thoughtless action of few idiotas like Sinwar and his group already dispatched to hell by the Isreal. Why start a fight that will kill you?
Foreign Affairs › Re: Gaza Ceasefire begins As Hamas releases names of hostages to be freed today by freakyamanda(f): 7:40pm On Jan 19, 2025
Which lesson. It doesn't matter how many people Israel kills, Hamas will still be standing.
eldoradoxx:
Isreal has shown real strength throughout this period, however leading to the massacre of thousands of people in the quest to ensure the release of their people held hostage by Hamas. Hate them or like them, when your country is ready to commit genocide to save you, your loyalty to that country is 100%. It is the loyalty of Isrealis to their country that saw them defeat Hamas and Hezbollah in one single war, ended Bashir Alsad regime and opened up the Middle East to a new chapter of peace and respect . Hamas and Hezbollah for certain will never repeat attempting to invade Israel homeland agan. They have learnt a bitter lesson that Isreal is far ahead, far advanced and is the most powerful nation in the Middle East.

Everybody can now identify as anything they want. Now since I teach him new things every day, can I identify as Gbadebo's mom?
obedience4:
So spending your early years in nigeria is now the basis of being a Nigerian citizen.
Expatriates who gave birth to kids in nigeria and who's kids grew up in nigeria are now nigeria citizens??because according to you spending your early years in nigeria makes you a nigerian citizen grin

The only yardstick that makes the nigerian citizen case stick is that she has Nigerian parents having nigerian parents makes you a candidate for nigeria citizenship according to the laws that caters for citizenship in nigeria..her growing up in nigeria is not a criteria for her being nigerian.

The bottom line is that kemi has likely renounce her nigeria nationality, and only identify as Briton now..
Obama was born in the US to a Kenyan father which according to kenya laws make him a kenyan citizen. but he doesn't have a kenya citizenship and identity solely as an american.

Lookman was born in the UK to nigerian parents and had his early years in the UK and was a UK citizen until 2022 when he switched allegiance to nigeria. Is lookman still a UK citizen?? The answer is no the moment he took the nigeria citizenship he renounced his UK nationality making him a full nigerian national.

Kemi is Briton, she having nigerian parents or stayed in nigeria doesn't matter.. she identifies has Briton her bio says so..

Did Germany not commit a genocide against them?
So genocide and victory can happen together, they are not mutually exclusive.

Ukraine is winning by losing territory whilst Russia is losing by winning territory. Russia has multiple times more Ukrainian POWs than Ukraine has of Russia. Ukraine is supported and funded by 30 + rich countries, Russia is backed by only 3 nations. Yet Russia continues to decimate them.

We don't need their useless money that goes to politicians and foreign contractors, further improverishing our people and causing inflation. The economics of the world has been skewed to always favour the rich countries. US can afford to print trillions of dollars and African countries will be the ones to bear the consequences. Why not let us trade as equal partners first without them dictating the terms?
What kind of aid are we getting?

Is it vaccines that have been engineered to alter our DNA?

Or GMO foods that cuts the lives of our people short?

Or toxic pharmaceuticals?

My friend, Western foreign aid is simply taking money from poor people in rich countries and giving to rich people in poor countries.

Gbadebo19:
Of course, you must only see the deficit. They also got money to give your governments to fight diseases and do medical research. What about that?

Hmm.

So Singapore is practicing a form of democracy and Russia is not?

Singapore holds elections and so does Russia. Both Putin and LKY are great leaders who developed their countries. Why does the western media praise one and insult the other?

Lee Kuan Yew spent almost 30 yeara as prime minister after independence and he is not a dictator but Putin is for spending over 20 years cumulative as president.

I am just shaking my head at this level of hypocrisy.

obedience4:
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Another ignorant clown...

Jeez, the reason why I used Singapore was because of the close proximity with the time Nigeria and Singapore got independence.. a mere 5 years difference....
Your friend said democracy needed time to evolve, I simply stated that Singapore who got independence later and practice democracy was doing well.

Did Lee Kuan Yew win elections or not??
Was the agurement ever about dictatorship?? Was the agurement about putin being a dictator or not?? The bone of contention was if democracy was working in nigeria, the agurement i brought forward was that a certain country who got independence almost the same period as Nigeria is doing well practicing a form of democracy.

Is Singapore not practicing a form of democracy??

Comprehension has and will always be a problem in this thread.

Keep wallowing in your pool of ignorance

See how you turn logic upside down further confirming my suspicion that you are a teenager with anxiety problems.

I never said human rights does not exist, my assertion is that countries who have not advanced like the west must first focus on economic development which is what the west actually did. For there to be democracy the industrial revolution and the enlightenment had happened in Europe. This means individuals are now free to be individuals because they don't need to be dependent on another person for bread. Why do you think protests are easily manipulated in third world countries?

Again, the Chinese acknowledged they are not yet at the level of human standard of the west, hence they focus more on economic development and self reliance. Without this, the west will make them another dependent and cut their wings.

My brother, I am beginning to doubt you even understand the basics of an argument.

Gbadebo19:
You are really very daft to see human rights from the perspective of prosperity or standard of living.
Are you telling me that the right to seek redress in a court is about prosperity? The freedom of thought, conscience and religion is about human standard? The right against double jeopardy is about prosperity? Please go back to primary school.
And even talking about the so called human standard, is the average Chinese living a life better than the average American? Go back to primary school, I repeat.

Lee Kuan Yew was first Prime minister of Singapore from 1959 to 1990. Tell me, was he no a dictator by Western media standard? Yet this is the guy that turned Singapore around. Thanks for proving my point.

obedience4:
Democracy has to evolve, OK that's nice..

Singapore got independence on 9 August 1965, five years after Nigeria got independence from Britain..
prime minister Lee Kuan Yew turned Singapore from third world to first world.. this he achieved with limited mineral resources and a adverse landscape...
Note this is a Singapore with multi ethnicity, and different religious affiliations.

Dude turned Singapore into one of the Asian "tigers"
Keep waiting for years to evolve, others have left you behind..

I have actually recommended a system before but don't have time to elaborate right now. If you look at North and Southern Nigeria, they have two different cultures and two different systems will work. We need a capitalist south and socialist North in addition to a federalised meritocracy almost similar to China to advance rapidly.

We need a strong leader like Mao Zedong that will commi
obedience4:
In conclusion what system do you recommend??

My brother, besides the United States, tell me one country in the world that started democracy right at the beginning of its history. Democracy has to evolve if it has to work. If certain ingredients are not present in a society, democracy will not work there.

Western media once asked the Chinese president why human rights are not important to him. He responded that in China, they see human rights from the perspective of human standard. If the standard of living is low there can never be human rights. If you are starving you will sell your human rights for 1,000 naira. Western countries have been rich for a long time, so they can bother with liberalism but many third world countries need to advance rapidly economically and democracy is often so expensive and chaotic that it slows down decision making and allows strong foreign influence.
Gbadebo19:
I very well understand your POV.
But you didn't address something.
What makes us so sure that the new system we create is gonna work if we keep doing the wrong things. And bear in mind that democracy was not our first and only system, we have practised monarchical system before. And if we go back on history, that same monarchical system was full of social segregation that placed a huge wide gap in terms of social class between the rulers and the rules which leaves much to be desired if such a system was still in practice today.

And in China.. you said China is doing well but you didn't address the fact that China is seriously seriously suppressing dissident voices (all these are due to the world becoming smaller and smaller as a result of the world becoming a global village). Not that the Chinese system is wrong but all these things will only work without problems if the country is to be secluded from other parts of the world which is not practicable.
And remember, this Chinese system came about as a result of a civil war orchestrated by Chairman Mao Zedong. The system continues to work because another uprising which will challenge the Mao Zedong philosophy is seriously suppressed not because it is "actually working" or satisfies the majority.

And lastly, between USA and China, which system of government is more likely to experience an uprising which can lead to a civil war. The answer is clear to me and you. Instability is the last thing we want in Africa.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by freakyamanda(f): 10:19am On Jan 14, 2025
I never said democracy is not a good system, my assertion is that democracy as it is practiced in the west may not work for us and we have to develop our own system based on our current realities rather than copying the American system of federal democracy verbatim. Even in the west there are various models. There are countries in this world ruled by monarchies and they are prosperous.
Meanwhile, many of the policies suggested by international institutions have failed woefully because they don't take account of local nuances. As a matter of fact, Tinubu is doing exactly what international institutions reccomend. That is why you hardly see them criticise him.

obedience4:

Gbadebo19:
Any governance framework bla bla bla.
From all the rubbish you wrote there, can you now give us one such example of a governance framework that will "work" in Nigeria?
Freaky, it is early morning, I don't want to start my day reading nonsense please.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by freakyamanda(f): 9:06am On Jan 14, 2025
Any governance framework that doesn't align with the culture of the people will fail. For instance, the Chinese are often baffled how Americans will demand someone with a lot of experience and proof of competency to fix something in their companies but will not apply the same in choosing their president. In democracy, somebody with a sweet mouth without any track record can become president. In advanced countries, this flaw is balanced by a well educated populace and strong institutions. These societies in Europe and North America have a shared history and there is contextual background story to how their democracy evolved, not imposed. In other parts of the world, these other ingredients are not present and that is why democracy fails in third world country. What every society needs is a system of govt that aligns with its current realities and not an imposed democracy.

Gbadebo19:
Exactly what they do not understand. In an ideal democratic society, the legislature and judiciary ought to make the executive be on their toes not as it is in Africa where the legislature and judiciary are scared of the president and bow to his or her will. In Africa, sacrosanct democratic principles such as checks and balances, judicial autonomy, legislative immunity are virtually non existent.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by freakyamanda(f): 8:32am On Jan 14, 2025
Do you think the USA is doing the right thing at the moment? Do you think democracy works for middle eastern countries? Have you seen a prosperous democratic middle eastern country?
Gbadebo19:
It ain't a matter of democracy not working for us in Africa. The question we should be asking is "are we actually practising democracy?" Without a doubt, we are more of an autocratic government than a democratic government.
Changing or fashioning out another system will not change a single thing about the situation. The system of government we practice isn't the problem. Any system of government will work as long as the leaders and the people do the right thing. Therefore, whatever alternative we try or explore, we are still coming back to this same spot.
It's simple. We ain't doing the right thing
Several people have criticized Nigeria's law and constitution as having some problems. On a simple analysis, all those criticisms have been pure hogwash and a lack of understanding on how government works.
Of course, that isn't suppose to mean that democracy doesn't have its own flaws, but for the kind of people we are in Africa, democratic government still remains our surest bet.
A simple look and understanding of the monarchical system that was in place before contact with the Europeans will reveal that it isn't a system to be used anymore these days if you look at the many atrocities and flagrant abuse of power perpetuated at that time. Of course, we can say that the system was working as the people were fine with it at that time, but you need to remember one thing, the more the world becomes smaller (in terms of being a global village), the more technology penetrates, the more the people become enlightened to how things are done in other parts of the world which raises a problem for the current system of government being practiced. What is then left is to silence the dissident voices such as is done in NK, China and some others.
