It's been widely accepted that most Nazis who fled Germany after World War Two fled to South America, mainly to Argentina and Paraguay, and even Venezuela. But what many don’t realize, and it’s a verifiable fact, is that many of the worst Nazis who were senior members of the SS and Eichmann henchmen fled to and lived in the Middle East, bringing the Nazi ideologies and their hatred of Jews to the region where they ingrained their hatred into local society. Alois Brunner is one such famous one. He fled to Damascus in Syria and became an adviser to the Assad regime. Another I’ve mentioned before was Johannes von Leers, a close aide to Goebbels, who initially fled to Brazil before moving to Egypt. In Egypt, he changed his name to Omar Amin, converted to Islam, and became Minister of Education where he created the curriculum for all schools teaching kids about the evil Jews and Zionists and indoctrinating generations of hatred during the Sadat era. In fact, thousands of Nazis relocated to the Middle East, mostly in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and even the British Mandate of Palestine where they worked with the local Arabs to kill the Jews in the region. Many Nazis were advisors to the Arab countries who waged war against fledgling Israel in 1948. So when you hear Israelis calling Hamas and other terrorists in the region Nazis, it’s because they actually are. The Nazis who fled to the Middle East were welcomed as the Arabs had already established strong relations during the Hitler regime and they shared the common goal of exterminating all the Jews. One last interesting little titbit… dozens of senior Nazis who fled Germany had their names changed by various governments sympathetic to them, and ended up joining a new organization shortly after the war. That organization was… the United Nations. Interesting how things begin to fall into place when you actually understand and research history. ~ Cheryl E

Israel has been destroying Hamas for almost 6 months now and nothing to show with hundreds of Israeli soldiers dead, no hostage rescued and rocket attacks has not stopped. But Israel has been so effective at one thing; killing thousands of children and escaping justice from the world system.

There is a big difference between the Yemeni navy and a terrorist group??
Even the Yemeni navy can't stop a ship sailing in international water's even if it's is close to it's territorial waters .
They are laws that protect and govern shipping lanes around the world.
freedom of navigation FON is one of the bedrocks that makes the world a commercial place

Oh there are laws protecting international shipping, so why is the US seizing Iranian oil tankers in the open sea. I am glad Iran is now retaliating

How ignorant does that sound.

Gulf of Aden is the territory of who? Do you have any idea or you are just another loudmouth?
The houthis are not like boko haram and you are only repeating western sentiments. These guys are the legitimate rulers of Yemen. They control the bulk of the territory including the capital. Also they are not terrorists, they haven't carried out any suicide bombing against innocent people. They fought for their people's freedom and won.

Do you need an example of terrorists? Look at the attached.

Exactly. The Yemenis did not blockade any other part of the open sea. It is only the gulf of Aden that is under sanction for western shipping.

Can't people hear word? They have imposed sanctions on western shipping. All western ships should turn back and pass another place and they will be safe.

So because Boko haram control some part's of. Northern Nigeria that makes them the legitimate government in Nigeria
How many countries has backed and given legitimacy to the houtis
Do you know that the houtis only control some part of Yemen, and there is a UN recognise government in CV control of Yemen
USA recognised a scum called Guaido as president in Venezuela. How many governments around the world recognised him?
Kosovo is not recognised by the UN. Does that stop the US from attacking Serbia to defend them?
As long as the almighty United States and its allies supports a group, that group automatically becomes legitimate and the western media will use its usual vocabulary to cement it in people's brains.

I am sure if the Houthis were blowing Russian ships in support of Ukraine, you will be applauding and they would no more be a terrorist group. Your hypocrisy stinks.

I reckon you are overlooking the fact that Houthi is a terrorist group and they are not Yemen naval force. Bear that in mind before you try to make a point that they are in charge of the gulf of aden which you think is their water. I gave you an example using Boko Haram in Nigeria.

Your argument is flawed. I can see how you are trying to defend the Houthi attack on a commercial ship in the Gulf of Aden by comparing it to the Israel-Hamas war and the Russia-Ukraine war, but these are not the same situations.

First, the Houthi attack on the ship was not an act of self-defence or resistance. The ship was a Barbados-flagged bulk carrier carrying steel and it had nothing at all to do with Israel or the US, and it was sailing in international waters(Google is your buddy). I stated this earlier. Even if it were Yemen's water what right does Houthi,a terrorist group have to attack ships passing by? That should be Yemen's problem not Houthi!

Israel and Hamas have been in a long-standing conflict for decades. Hamas is another terrorist group that controls/controlled the Gaza Strip and rejects Israel's right to exist. It has fired thousands of rockets at Israel, targeting civilians and infrastructure. Israel has responded by targeting Hamas. How's that Israel's fault?

Russia and Ukraine, on the other hand, have been in a war since 2014, when Russia invaded and took Crimea from Ukraine and backed separatist rebels in eastern Ukraine. For one, Russia violated Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and yeah they faced global condemnation and sanctions for their actions.

I don't see how you can compare the Houthi attack on a commercial ship with the Israel-Hamas war or the Russia-Ukraine war. The Houthi attack was not justified by any moral or legal standard, and it cannot be seen as a valid form of resistance or justice.

I know where you are going with this and I have to burst your bubble, the Gulf of Aden is not a Yemen strait. It is a deepwater gulf of the Indian Ocean between Yemen, Djibouti, Somalia, and the Arabian Sea.

That ship was sailing in international waters, which means it had the right to pass through the Gulf of Aden without interference from anyone.

The Houthis do not have the right to attack the ship or any other vessel. The attack was in simple term a breach of international law. The Houthis are not a rights group fighting for the rights of Palestinians, as you claim, they are taking advantage of a situation. They are a rebel group that has been fighting against the internationally recognised government of Yemen with the support of Iran. Do you get it now?
Bros, you are just speaking gibberish. The gulf of Aden is the territory of someone na. How can you tell me i cannot impose sanctions on my territory?

What do you mean by internationally recognized? You are just throwing around western statements carelessly.

Is the US invasion of Iraq internationlly supported?
Is the Israeli act of genocide against Gaza internationally supported?
Is the US support for Syrian terrorists, including ISIS against the legitimate government of Syria internationally supported?
The UN has five permanent security members, most sanctions by US are only supported by three out of 5.

Please, US and Israel have shown that might is right and diplomacy is useless. So their enemies can only speak to them in the language they understand. Watch the world go in flames because of the arrogance of those who think they are not accountable.

Who the hell is Houthi to tell people not to use the gulf of aden or are you too ignorant to get how that works. This is an international water, even if it wasn't what right does Houthi a terrorist group have to attack ships passing by. That should be Yemen's decision.

They are TERRORISTS,a terrorist group. Just like Boko Haram attacking people for plying a particular route. Again, not Yemen, but Houthis, get that into your head. HOUTHI IS A TERRORIST GROUP AND THEY DESERVE NOTHING FROM ANYONE!

And where did you pull the whole rubbish you wrote up there from. This is not a propaganda page where you spout all kind of bollocks and expect every sensible person to swallow it.

You reckon it's right to strike a commercial ship that has nothing to do with Israel. Your attempt to defend the action shows what sort of person you are. What are you doing on my thread anyway?
The dead sailors are collateral damage. The Yemeni Navy had imposed sanctions on western shipping along that route and their regulation should be respected. It is not only western countries that can impose sanctions na. Welcome to the multipolar world. Shebi they were attacking Yemen? Has it made the sea safer for their vessels?

The Americans have built a great nation, no doubt about it. However, their country is in a rapid decline in every aspect because the current American leaders and also other western leaders have left the welfare of their people and instead, are fixated on dominating other countries by force and deceit. On the other side, countries like China, Iran and Russia are growing in all human development indices. Their economies are growing bigger and their militaries are growing more powerful. That should tell you the American style has become outdated and bastardized by the American elite whilst the Chinese model has become more pragmatic. US and other declining societies want to destroy these upcoming powers by first making the western citizens hate them and then ganging up against them.

Politics › Trade Minister Debunks Reports Of Planned 1 Billion Naira Geneva Trip by freakyamanda(op): 11:44am On Dec 14, 2023
The Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Anite, has debunked media reports of a foreign trip to Geneva next year, allegedly budgeted to cost 1 Billion Naira.

In a statement released by Special Assistant (Media) to the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, Toluwalase Moyan, the Minister said such reports are ‘an extreme misrepresentation of the facts’.

“We wish to categorically state that there is no line item in the proposed budget of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment referring to ANY “Foreign Trip to Geneva”, the statement reads.
“Rather, the only mention of ‘Geneva’ in the proposed budget is with respect to the maintenance of the Nigerian Trade Office in Geneva, captured as ‘External Trade Sector, Geneva (WTO)’, which may have been misconstrued as ‘Foreign Trip to Geneva’.

According to the minister, the total amount (for NIGERIA’S TRADE OFFICE IN GENEVA) in the appropriation for 2024 is N1,610,183,599 with the breakdown is as follows:
1. Personnel Cost: N805, 379, 820
2. Overhead: N204, 058, 434
3. Capital: N600, 745, 345

“For clarification, Nigeria, as an active player in global trade maintains an office in Geneva responsible for representing and defending Nigeria’s multilateral trade interests in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), both headquartered in Geneva Switzerland.

“Expectedly, the Nigerian Trade Office, Geneva has obligations, overhead and maintenance costs as with any organisation, that must be met. In fact, the current debt owed by the Nigeria Trade Office in Geneva as captured in the budget is N499,000,000.00, and it was deemed necessary to propose a budget that will service Nigeria’s outstanding debts in Geneva and maintain Nigeria’s respect and global standing amongst the comity of nations.

“Please be assured that the Ministry is committed to prudence, transparency and accountability,” the statement reads.
