Romance / Re: My Fiance Says Am Fat. by fred4alabi(m): 2:53pm On Aug 23, 2010
To be honest with you, i think the circumstances you met does not allow either of you to really evaluate your affection for each other. I think you just want to get married, otherwise you should be able to see he is not the best for you.

nevertheless, loosing weight is in your own interest, but if you cant and he cant cope with it, please take a hike. your eternal happiness matter otherwise, he'll marry you for keep and date slimmer girls outside.

Politics / How To Organise Credible Election In Nigeria by fred4alabi(m): 1:24pm On Aug 13, 2010
To organize a credible election in Nigeria such that anyone can aspire for any political post of his/her dreams without any fair of Godfather or party but simply based on personal record and agenda.

There are several ways to organize a credible election but all have their advantages and disadvantages, but i will enumerate the easiest and most conducive.

Firstly, let us highlight some of the problems of election and its flaws;

1. Manipulated voters register - paves way for main problem
2. Rigging - the main problem
3. Multiple voting
4. Inadequate ballot papers.
5. Transportation of ballot papers and officials
6. Non - counting of ballot at center - leading forged results
7. Others

The power to conduct and organize a very credible, free and fair election is firstly vested on the president of the country and the ruling body in appointing a very credible candidate with positive mind, to head the electioneering process as the electoral chairman.

Things that should be done;

A computerized system and software can be used to generate required output. The items required are;

1. An input pad for voting, containing all voting party’s symbols and candidates names.
2. A laptop with voting software installed which houses voters’ register database for that pooling booth.
3. Internet connection to transmit voters identity and votes to backend server
4. Printer – to print voting information for voter and to print overall result.
5. Back end servers located at INEC office to house all voters’ registration information and results.

Procedures;

1. Voters’ register is thoroughly vetted by INEC and cross-vetted by parties and observing bodies
2. Voter enters pooling booth and is asked to stamp any of his/her finger on input pad by the computer speaking the voter’s preferred language of communication and also verifies his/her eligibility to vote in that booth from the laptop and backend server via internet.

3. After authentication, voter is given a random number from the number of all voters voting in that booth. This number is only known to the voter.

4. Voter is asked to vote for preferred candidate on the input/voting pad by stamping his/her finger on the preferred candidate or party logo (also speaking voter’s chosen langiage)

5. Once done, voter is asked to press ‘OK’ if satisfied with vote and the vote is sent to the laptop and backend server for counting.

6. Voter is printed a voting result stating his/her random number and party voted for as confirmation.

7. At the end of voting, overall result is printed by electoral officer displaying total numbers of voters that voted, their random numbers and party they voted for.

8. Voters are asked to verify their voting slip information against vote result to ascertain if truly, their vote is correctly counted.

9. Gathering the results from all voting centers, the result must tally with that of the backend server and thus all voters must have ascertained that their vote is properly counted and winners can be announced immediately on the same day of election.

With this method;

1. No ballot paper or ballot paper exhausted case
2. Cost of ballot paper is eliminated
3. Rigging is minimized if not eliminated
4. Voters can vet their votes
5. Voter get results first before they can be manipulated
6. Transparency is practiced
7. People will have more confidence in the voting system and in Nigeria.
8. Voters count their votes before INEC and can even announce results before INEC

Politics / Re: Pdp Says Jonathan Can Contest by fred4alabi(m): 11:23am On Aug 13, 2010
what Jonathan needs to do is to ensure and organise a very credible election devoid of manipulation, then he or anybody can become president, even the igbos or calabar -anybody at all.

the only reason we think along with them is because we know our vote dint count, if it does, who are they to decide who win or lose.
Politics / Re: Fashola - I Can't Be Ribadu's Running Mate - Ac Ticket by fred4alabi(m): 11:11am On Aug 13, 2010
that is the best decision. he has my vote already. he is not ready for presidential tasks, he should climb the stairs gently and gradually otherwise we'll be badly brushed. there are several of his type waiting to be discovered. he should wait for them to develop and team up with them.

tinumbu is an evil genius too.
Music/Radio / Re: Who Is The Most Recognise Nigeria Muscian In The World. by fred4alabi(m): 3:01pm On Aug 12, 2010
, all these small children, see them mentioning musicians of their age.

i think the most recognised musicians are either dead or retired.

for those small children, think of music you dad could buy from work and you all as a family can listen and dance to it. if there is such music, that muscian should be great and should be the most recognised in the world. unless your father is very young too.

or any Nigerian musician that has been nominated for grammy award or had won it.
Politics / Re: Lagos Gives Okada Riders Fresh Ultimatum by fred4alabi(m): 2:51pm On Aug 12, 2010
i think Fashola is getting it wrong on this one. Okada is the fastest means of transportation in Lagos. what the government should do is to reduce hold ups and number of cars on the road. we wont ride them if the road is free. banning them in V.I wont work as i totally oppose it. V.I is the center of hold up in Nigeria. you will regret going to the next street with your own car. Its even better trekking than riding a car in V.I

How can some people compare Owerri, Umuahia and all those villages with Lagos, How many people are there? how many cars are there too? compare with Lagos and 45% of cars in Lagos head for the island every day.

Fashola should reduce the cars, they are too many on the road, all these bankers each all have cars even when they don't need it.
Politics / Re: Dame Patience Jonathan And Her Poor Communication Skills by fred4alabi(m): 2:32pm On Aug 05, 2010
Not only is her English poor but also her bad pronunciation and warri accent. i am strictly not against anyone speaking their local dialect of broken English, just lets know when its play or mistake. let her henceforth address the public in her local dialect, as for me, she is not a matter of concern, she does'nt have my mandate or vote.

let any first lady of anything blab about, they donut matter, they are just singing birds. first lady office should be banned or removed
Politics / Re: I Want To Save Nigeria - Ibb by fred4alabi(m): 3:29pm On Aug 03, 2010
the best and only way for IBB to come to power again is to admint June 12 election, go with the believers and supporters of June 12, admit his errors and expose the loots and co-looters. perhaps, Nigerians will pardon him (if he is serious about it).

Otherwise, if he thinks he can maradona us again, its lie o! na messi dey reign now!

Religion / Re: Trousers Or Mini Skirts: Which Is A Sin? by fred4alabi(m): 5:21pm On Aug 02, 2010
Its high time understand the religious interpretation of this wearing clothes so as to educate all the religious fanatics who barley no anything about biblical meanings and interpretation before running conclusions and condemning people, things and other believes

When the God says man should not wear women's clothes and women should not wear men's clothes, He is not talking of style and fashion. In Scotland, their men where skirts. In our eastern and southern Nigeria, men tie wrappers. In many part of Europe, women traditionally wear trousers. Many occupational uniform is trouser.

What God says is that A MAN SHOULD NOT WEAR CLOTHES ALREADY WORN BY A WOMAN AND A WOMAN SHOULD ALSO NEVER WEAR CLOTHES ALREADY WORN BY A MAN. it is unholy in the site of GOD not STYLE, DESIGNS AND FASHION.

Even Dogs and other sniffing animals prohibits it. If a dog sniffs a difference in the odour of the clothes you wear and that of your body odour, the dog will bark you strongly because its finding difficult to identify you. Its unholy before God and also and attempt to disguise before GOD. i only pity those that wear second hand clothes. you might be committing a lot of SINS this way.
Religion / Re: Lagos Orders Churches To Remove Loud Speakers by fred4alabi(m): 4:54pm On Aug 02, 2010
its great that the Lagos State Government is very much living to expactation of its citizens and upholding their rights; but in fairness, this measure should extended to mosques too. i happen to spend some weeks with a relative on oshodi road in oshodi where there are 2 big churches (one Baptist and the other Anglican) and a big cental mosque directly opposite the Anglican church. To my great surprise, report says the two religous groups had never had clashes as they resepect each other.

But my greatest surprise comes on sundays where an ISMUF group of the mosques make very loud and unbearable noise placing speakers at all corners of the mosques which is what i expect from the churches, going by their size and being a sunday. In all fairness and truth, there is bearly noise on fridays from the mosque beside the call for worship which lasts just few minutes and ends immediately after JUMAT service. This mosque hardly put on generator to call for worship on other days. Its only this ISMUF group that makes the sundays unbearable. I assume this will not go down well with the opposite church, but they are probably jus playing maturity and someone needs to step in before they losse their patience. The only good thing is that these churches are so big that you can bearly hear their noise from outside and when in, you wont even know what is going on outside.

In order to avoid partiality, please extend this same treatment and measure to Mosques too.
Romance / Re: Buying Condoms? How Embarrassing by fred4alabi(m): 4:10pm On Aug 02, 2010
i dont see anything embarassing in what you have done. anyone who is confient enough to buy condoms shows the person is modern and in vast with his environment. you could by a condom for several reasons.

i dont see why your husband is laughing as its not funny. i expect you to;

1. give that bloody cashier a bloody slap for his dirty comments (customers should be respected)
2. or ask your husband to go to the store and give the guy a dirty slap for you
3. or give your husband a dirty slap for not knowing what to do when his wife is embarassed by another guy.
Business / Re: Illegal ATM Withdrawals: How To Seek Justice? by fred4alabi(m): 10:50am On Jul 24, 2010
The same thing happened to me the same way. i checked my balance on-line in my office before i left office at about 6pm. on getting home at about 7.15pm, i wanted to make a withdrawal and realize my account was empty. i couldn't run to the bank at that time than to wait till next morning. On getting to the bank, they started pittying me and were so helpless. they laughed at my letter of petition. up till today, I've gotten to response since may 12Th. in no doubt, there are fraudsters among GTB bank staff and they carryout this operation while they are closing. i have resolve not to use ATM again as am advised by their bankers. i just witdraw what i need for the week every Monday.

the worst part of it is that they are not doing any investigation because they know they are not innocent of it. i will stop using GTB and i advise everyone to close their accounts with them. everyone that had been defrauded via This means had banked with GTB, why GTB?

GTB Oleeeeee!!!!!
GTB Oleeee!!!!!!

Politics / Re: Why I Formed New Political Party —soyinka ! by fred4alabi(m): 10:17am On Jul 24, 2010
I used to sometimes castigate the likes of Soyinka, Fela and Gani for only criticizing and not proferring solutions. I notice most Nigerians can fault and criticize, but only few profer solutions and a minute can implement solutions. Soyinka forming a party is proferring solutions and i feel its a rigth step in a good direction. If he does'nt, then who will? He and his likes, (Gani, Fela) had enligthened and tutored us Nigerians enough to be able to stand up for our right and fight for it; but, noway! we wont, we always look for someone or hero to go and fight, get and bring our right to us in our house which i think is a chance of a snowball in hell as that will never happen. With this party now, and Soyinka at 76 and Gani - gone, Fela - gone, its about time an average Nigeria wake up and do something; especially we so called elite and educated. We speak to much of grammar than taking actions.
