Romance / Re: Read What A Father Told His Daughter Who's Getting Married by freddaboh(m): 1:19pm On Nov 20, 2015
adesegun121:
My Daughter, now you will stop bearing my name. You will be happily married to the man you love. Don't miss me because I have fulfilled my purpose, it is now time for you to start fulfilling yours.

From your childhood, I have raised you well by the grace of God but before you say "I Do", there are few things I need to tell you about living with a man and being married...

Do you remember when you wrote your WAEC and JAMB exams? You came to me and I gave you N20,000 for the registration? Well, even though I gave it to you, the money was not mine. I know you always thought I paid the fees. The truth is, I was broke that period...but your mother gave me the money. She could have given it to you but she decided to give it to me to give to you. That is the right thing.

Support your husband. Some times things may get tough; not only money, it could be in any other area. He will be frustrated. Even though he acts tough, in his mind he has fears… he fear you may not value him anymore because he has a temporary set back on some issues.

That is the time to get behind him and support him. The best way to show your husband you love him is to respect him! You may argue with him, you may disagree but at the end of the day, let him know he has your respect.

Do you remember the day I screamed at your mother? What did she do? She was quiet! My daughter learn to be quiet sometimes when your husband is angry. When one person is hot, the other should be cool. If you claim right with your husband, small issues can become very big and destroy your marriage.

The first thing to know about your husband is his favourite food! If he has more than one then keep them at the back of your mind. Dont let him ask for it, sometimes prepare it for him to surprise him.

There was a day your mum saw me touching a woman’s hand affectionately. I was lust after that woman but I was not having an affair with her. When she saw us... she didn't fight the lady, she quietly left. I was afraid of going home because all hell may break lose. But when I got home she said nothing. She served me my food. Guilt was taking control over me. I had to tell your mum the truth that she is just a friend and nothing more. I stopped seeing that woman.

Who knows? If she had fought and threatened me... maybe I could have run away from my wife's troubles and landed into the arms of the lady, and that would be the end of our marriage.

Sometimes silence brings better solution than fight. Forget those romantic novels you read while you were 21. Remember those Indian and American love movies? Also remember those too sweet Nollywood films on African magic? Forget them! Don’t expect your married life to be that way. Life is different from fiction.

The last thing I want to tell you...
Do you know how you were born? After our wedding, things were tough and your mum had to do some jobs to support us. I was working as well. I get home 6PM while she gets home tired. But when we get to bed... she will not refuse me my "night food". That is how you were born.

Never allow anything to get into your head to the extent of denying your husband of his "night food".

Be a good wife, be prayerful... forget flashy things of life no matter how much they attract you. Open up to your husband that you will have those flashy things when he is comfortable to buy them for the family. Be true to your husband and you will realize that you married the best man on earth.

This is the plain truth... I wish you all the best and a happy married life!

Romance / Re: Pre-marital Sex: 4 Hard Facts Guys Won't Tell You by freddaboh(m): 9:05pm On Nov 19, 2015
Reiyvinn:
Sex is sweet. That sensation of getting an unrivaled outburst of hormones toward your urethral lacuna during an orgasm is priceless.

The intimacy that exists between two lovers during sex can really shut one's senses to reality and make two thinking humans become bred dogs all to earn that invaluable feeling that comes with it.

But,

have you examined the good and harm this practice has done to you?

Firstly, I am not a celibate. I have sex a lot and I'll only stop when I go 6 feet.

I also don't believe in "No sex till marriage" as much I don't believe in "No trial till purchase".

However, I'm emburdened to enlighten Ladies on what happens when they endulge in too much sex while unmarried.

1.) Sex and Love are no synonyms:

Hello? Trying to get into a guys heart through his penis is a sure misfire. Guys are sexual beings and can have sex with a hundred ladies without loving any. If he's loyal to you sexually then it means you taste pretty good, but be sure to remain that good cos any sign of unsavour, he'll begin exploring other means. (tho some are sincerely loyal sha, don't get me wrong)

2.) Success is not an STI/STD (no be Suck-Sex):

I don't know what you were thinking when you opened your legs to that business mogul, oil and gas worker or just an average money maker but just be sure that unless you are an olosho, trying to tap into their success through sex is absolute stupidity.

3.) We have NOTHING to lose:

You heard that right. Guys have nothing to lose. We can continue destroying ladies honeypots as long as that young soldier down there is active.

But you. Your body can get ruined by too much sex. No matter how much you 'maga' us, your body will spoil but we'll still keep making money.

Get it into your skull. You're like padlocks, we're like keys. We open more padlocks, we become master keys. More keys open your padlocks, you become useless.

Pregnancy, abortion, labour, pills bla bla bla are on you, not us, so be careful!

4.) We may marry non-virgins but we won't accept 'boreholes':

Even as we crush, smash and destroy. We know what we want. We may whip lots of oloshos and sugar mummies but when it's time to marry, we won't have a tunnel for a wife, never!

You are somebody's future wife, please play safe with your body.

Ekuse!

A statement of fact...........

Same Mark August send a friend request to me. The very moment he started chatting I knew that he was a scammer. I went online and straight to google and typed 'Mark August Scam' and this story popped up. I deliberately asked for his number and he sent +447042064241. I called him to advise him to stop the scamming business and accept Jesus christ. The more he was trying to convince me that he is not a scammer, the more he is sounding like a confirmed scammer. I asked whether he knows 'Atlantic Express' that was when he cut the call and deleted me from bbm. Guys don't fall prey to this scam. His pin is 335D1648.

Dear biafrans, I support ur struggle 100% but my problem is ur approach. I would want to suggest the following procedures and i can assure u its going to work out successfully. if u can unite and follow the following steps then i can tell, welcome to the Republic of Biafra in advance.

STEP 1
Withdraw all ur services from Nigeria and render the Nigerians as u are the backbone of the country

STEP 2
Withdraw your kinsmen who are public office holders e.g Ike Ekweremadu, deputy senate president, Peter Obi the D.G of S.E.C

STEP 3
Reject all the ministerial nomination from the so called Nigeria.

STEP 4
Endeavour to reject Federal Allocation. u re very industrious people u will be better off without it

STEP 5
Stop all form of importation through the Nigerian sea port so that Nigeria will crumble without ur Tax

STEP 6
Recall all your sons and daughters from all parts of Nigeria to relocate to home untill this fight is over then Nigeria can beg them to come back as expatriate

STEP 7
Lock up all ur shops in idumota, Alaba international, Kano main market, and every other market even in the remote villages across the country.

STEP 8
Go beyond closing of the Niger bridge stop all Nigerians from buying or selling in Onitsha Main market or Ariaria market in Aba.

STEP 9
Make sure u make ur Visa very hard for Nigerians.

STEP 10
This fight can be achieved without Violence just like south Sudan. Finally, make sure u dont fight it with weapons.

This is how Mama peace started. Taking decisions without the consent of her husband. Hajiya should know that we canvassed and supported her husband all the way to the presidency but that does not mean that we should tolerate just anything. How is she expecting us to start explaining to those that kicked against Baba because of religious inclinations? Hajiya should know that as a matter of fact, that the Aso rock is not only for muslims, it is for all Nigerians whether christians, muslims or traditionalists. She should not for any reason tow the line of mama peace. Advicer oya, make una talk to the wife of the president o.
Culture / Re: What Makes Delta People Tick? By Azuka Onwuka Of Punch by freddaboh(m): 1:05pm On Sep 16, 2015
dafuturis:
There is a state in Nigeria whose people I find mystifying. That is Delta State in South-South Nigeria. There is something special about the state. One wonders if it is the land that makes the people special or the people that make the land special.
For example, even though there are Ijaw in other states of Nigeria, the Ijaw in Delta are unique. And even though it is only the River Niger that separates the Igbo in Anambra and the Igbo in Delta, the Igbo in Delta are unique. There is a daring spirit that a Deltan possesses that may shock or amaze other people.
The Pidgin English expression “Warri no dey carry last” (Warri never comes last) best describes Delta State. Even though Warri is not the capital of Delta State, it is the major city of Delta. Delta is Warri and Warri is Delta. Indeed Delta never lags behind on any issue – whether positive or negative. Put succinctly, Deltans never do things by halves. It is either they do it fully or they don’t do it at all. When you think of Deltans, you think of Texans.

There is hardly any field of endeavour that one can mention in Nigeria and Delta is not among the top three in it or at least the top five. Delta is among the top three oil-producing states of Nigeria. If one dismisses that as the work of nature, then let us move to education. Annually, Delta is usually among the top three states in terms of the highest number of applicants that apply to institutions of higher learning in Nigeria. In the exams conducted by NECO and WAEC, Delta usually performs well to be among the best.

Delta State has given the world writers like John Pepper Clark, Buchi Emecheta, Ben Okri, Isidore Okpewho; historians like Elizabeth Isichei, artists like Bruce Onobrakpeya, to mention but a few. In sports and entertainment, Delta rules. The first Nigerian that touched a World Cup in football is a Deltan: Nduka Ugbade. In 1985 he captained Nigerian youths to victory in what was then called FIFA Under-16 World Championship, which was later named the FIFA Under-17 World Cup. The second time Nigeria won the cup in 1993, another Deltan (Wilson Oruma) was the captain of the team. The next year when Nigeria’s Super Eagles won the African Cup of Nations, another Deltan (Stephen Keshi) was the captain. Are these feats mere coincidence? Which state
can produce the magical skills of Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, or the sprint skills of Blessing Okagbare? A Deltan (Stephen Keshi) just handed over to another Deltan (Sunday Oliseh) as the coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles. What about Nduka Odizor of the tennis fame?

In acting, can anyone ever forget the Thespian skills of Richard Mofe-Damijo, Justus Esiri, Enebeli Elebuwa, Stella Damasus, etc? In production and directing, Deltans hold sway too. What can one say about Zeb Ejiro, Chico Ejiro, Jeta Amata,
Fred Amata, Zack Amata, Ruke Amata, Opa Williams, etc?
In music, one remembers Omawumi, Dr. Sid, Kefee, Oritsefemi, and the rest. But the part of entertainment that seems to be tailor-made for the Deltans is comedy. And they have made a killing in it, since Ali Baba turned a field that nobody took seriously into a lucrative profession.

Delta people in real life do not look comic or funny. They look every inch serious. They play hard, love hard, work hard, sleep hard. But they can be cheeky. Because of their demonstrative way of speaking, others easily laugh when they speak. Their Pidgin English rolls like music: you want to always hear them speak it. It seems to have been created by them or for them. But why not?
Delta is perhaps the only state where no local language is dominant. Right inside Warri – which is the heartbeat of Delta – Urhobo, Itsekiri and Ijaw all mingle freely, in addition to other Nigerians and foreigners. If the Urhobo man wants to have fruitful communication with the Itsekiri man, then both of them must speak a neutral language, since none of them would accept that the language of the other is superior. Even though English is Nigeria’s official language, it has many rules that even those with university degrees find to adhere to, which leads to
grammatical errors. So Pidgin English became the lingua franca in Delta. Having spoken it for such a long time, the Deltans have personalised it, continuously adding new words and styles to the language. So when a Deltan handles the microphone and talks without any jokes, the audience find the flow of his words interesting and funny. Because Delta people are very demonstrative, expressive, passionate and daring, their mere use of words, facial expressions and gesticulations makes other Nigerians burst into laughter. The Deltans themselves sometimes don’t even understand what is funny
to have made the people laugh. So comedy comes to them naturally. That is why most jokes in Nigeria today seem to be about Akpos the Warri guy.

If you go into banking and finance, they hold the aces. From Mr. Tony Elemelu of the UBA, to Mr. Jim Ovia of Zenith Bank, to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala of the World Bank, to Mr. Godwin Emefiele of the Central Bank of Nigeria, to Mrs. Cecilia Ibruand to Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor, they stand out.

In business, they are too numerous to name: the Ibru business dynasty (Olorogun Michael Ibru, Sir Alex Ibru, Mr Goodie Ibru), Chief Sonny Odogwu, Deacon Gamaliel Onosode, Senator David Dafinone, Chief Peter Okocha, Chief Newton Jibunoh, etc.
In the media business, they are strong: The Guardian by Ibru, Vanguard by Mr Sam Amuka-Pemu, etc.

In pastoring, the Deltans are not missing: from the Most Rev Nicholas Okoh, Primate of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion); to Pastor Ayo Joseph Oritsejafor, founder/Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church; to Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma of the Enugu Diocese; etc

In politics and national prominence, they are visible: Chief Dennis Osadebay, Chief Edwin Clark, Obi (Prof.) Chike Edozien, Prof Sam Oyovbaire, Mrs. Mariam Babangida, Mr. Felix Ibru, Dr Abel Ubeku, Prof. Pat Utomi, Chief Philip Asiodu, etc.

In the military, they hold sway: Maj.-Gen. David Ejoor, former Chief of Army Staff; Lt. Gen. Alexander Ogomudia, former Chief of Army Staff; Air Marshal Paul Dike, former Chief of Defence Staff; Vice Admiral Dele Ezeoba, former Chief of Naval Staff, etc.

In law, medicine and engineering, like any other field, they shine. The Deltans never lag behind, among Nigerians. Even though I have no kinship with Delta State, some two decades ago, I noticed the spirit of excellence of the Deltans and took an interest in them. Following them closely revealed that there is something striking about the Deltans. Deltans never get anything on a silver platter, yet they excel wherever they are. No matter how few they are in a group, their impact is easily felt. They are neither timid nor shy.
You cannot intimidate them. You cannot easily take them for a ride. Nigerians need to pay more attention to the Deltans to find out what makes them tick. Is it in their genes? Is it in their land? Is it in the air they breathe or in the water they drink or in the food they eat? Do they grow up in a difficult environment
that gives them no other option except to excel or suffer?

Nigerians need to copy the Delta spirit, so that like Warri (Delta), people would start to say positively about Nigeria: “Naija no dey carry last!”

A nice piece.

[quote author=muh4lyf post=37047428]Nigerians are one of the most difficult people to please on earth.... I thought we all wanted NNPC been restructured.. How in this world would you restructure without letting some people go... I heard 1st bank gave those that were 60yrs compulsory retirement, please what do we call that? They had to let them go to bring in fresh blood so as to move with the trend.. That's restructuring.. It's always done for a purpose.. NNPC did this for a purpose,so why are we complaining again.. Nigerians I hail thee... Even if you give each of us GOLD we would still complain...[/quote

Never mind the naysayers, they are always behaving as if they know everything where as they do not know anything. The GMD is trying to restructure the NNPC and they are there saying rubbish. The GMD has a mandate to reposition the NNPC into an international corporation like Petrobras and Petronas and some unemployed graduates will be there saying he was wrong to do this or that. Some of them can not even get a job for themselves but they are condemning Dr Kachi, a professional in the field for doing his job. Very funny!!!

I doubt her claim. Alliison -Madueke should not provoke me this afternoon. I am a supporter of GEJ but that woman is part of the people that betrayed the trust GEJ imposed on them and milked this country. She has caused lots of harm to this country. I don't care about her state of health. She must pay for all her atrocities.
Nonsense!!!

She is suffering from an illness known as dollarmania, it's an illness as a result of having too much dollars in bank accounts all over the world. Please, do not envy her, it's a dangerous illness.

Romance / Re: How I Intentionally Played A Fast Game On A Lady by freddaboh(m): 5:47pm On Jul 24, 2015
proxillin:
I met this lady on a social app. She friend-zoned me for some 3 months though I made her realize my intention.

She keeps disturbing me with lengthy chats. She can chat for 24 hours. And that alone was getting on my nerves, that I started snubbing her on chat. I only respond once in a while.

I think she noticed it, she changed her tactics and started flirting..talking dirty and sending me funny pictures of her.

I took it as an invitation, so I brought up the issue of dating again. She said we should meet and discuss it.

We set a date for the date. In the morning of the set date, on whatsap she told me she is coming with a friend of her. I thought she feared for her security and was trying to play safe...I agreed they should come together.

We went to Cumbaland (Indian restaurant)...chop all the choppables (Chop my money). We still continued the discussion, she ended up not giving me any tangible answer.

2 weeks later, she said the weekend will be boring for her, she will be home alone, she said she wants to come to my house. Chaii my head bounced. I was like chaii...this is the opportunity.... On the Saturday morning when I went out to pick her at the bus stop close to my house, I saw a lady beside her, I thought the lady was just a passerby...to found out she was the same friend she brought on the first day (her makeup confused me). They came, I ran my generator for 8 ours they spent with me glued to my DSTV watching telemondo/MTV. She wouldnt even talk to me.

I later invited her to my inner room where I made my move, she refused and started cursing. So I dont want it to turn to a rape scenario, I let her go.

Later on whatsap, I asked why she keeps bringing her friend, she said she cant go anywhere without her.

I said OK...This bad thought just came to my mind. I knew I had nothing to loose again. I have spent already (thats a loss on its own). Nothing can be worse.

So I intentionally invited her over to my house this time...as usual she brought her friend which was part of my plan.

When opportunity presented itself, I collected her friends number. I took a risk, I told her not to tell my girl. To my dismay she cooperated with me, I pinged her on whatsap, she responded and we started flowing just neutrally.

The next time we agreed to go to the beach. I was very surprised to see this girl dressed sexily, even over dressed more than my girl. My eyes stayed glued on her that my girl nearly caught me. May be she did, may be not.

In the night I buzzed her and I told her how sexy she was that day. I told her I felt like kissing and foundling her that day.

She said "you should have done it in front of your girl" jokingly.

I said "Do you know my girl doesnt stop us", she said "Hmmmm"

Shockingly she said "I know there is nothing between you guys"

I was shocked. So my girl told her friend she had nothing for me.

I told the lady, why is she doing this to me? She hasnt given me any answer and when I make any move, she bark like dog. What does she want, shes confusing me....

In short, na so her friend agreed to come to my house alone ooo. It was on a rainy Saturday. She barely enters my house when we started the "You know what lipsrsealed lipsrsealed" (close your eyes).

I was at my office one day when I saw pings...my girl started blasting...

Why are men like this?
You are a dog
You are not different from others..
Men will always be men ...blah blah blah..

So if u want to date someone, its my friend that you think its right for you to date. You cheated with my friend.

I said "Madam, Let me ask you a question".

"Were we dating?"

She said "No"

I said "So whats your definition of cheating?"

She said "but u have been disturbing me for a while now"

I said "For a while? ooh and you are proud of that? And have you given me any tangible answer?"

She said "why are you impatient?"

I just told her to get a lawyer...she cursed and changed DP to funny images about guys...U know what they do na...

I found out that she read her friends whatsap chat and got to know we were fckng.

Guys....Am i really at fault?

Did I betray her?

Hahahahahahahahaha!!! You are right on point my brother.

Politics / Re: Buhari's Planned Probe Of Only Jonathan Administration And The "Far Past" by freddaboh(m): 11:13am On Jul 24, 2015
barcanista:
Since his March 28 electoral victory, President Buhari has been credited with some statements that are so unworthy of his office as the President of Nigeria. The latest of them is the President's determination to limit his probe to Jonathan's administration only. Add to this, Presidential Spokesman Femi Adesina insulted our sensibilities by these words...

“If you recall, that was already settled before he got inaugurated as president. He has said he will not waste time digging into the far past,”
“The far past will includes Obasanjo and others. But the president has said he will not waste time to go that far.”

In addition to the above statement, the Spokesman also said...
"He can’t afford to go too deep into the past or else it will be destructive for his administration." https://www.nairaland.com/2471364/buhari-probe-jonathans-govt-only

1. The "Far Past" Exclusion:

There was no time during the electioneering or transition period that Buhari made any statement like excluding "far past" administrations. What is "far past"? This obviously is a new creation aimed at protecting certain persons.

Let us do a recall that before the election, APC Chairman John Oyegun was quoted to have said..
“It is clear that from the Buhari’s perspective and that of the APC, the future of the people of this country is too important for us to spend valuable time trying to dig into the past...”

Oyegun further made clarification that the "past" is pre-2015 (not pre-2010) when he said

“And we are going to go into a situation, post May 2015, where the law will normally take its course. There will be a line drawn on the sand; on one part is the past, the other side is the future."
www.punchng.com/news/only-corrupt-nigerians-oppose-buhari-says-apc/

We also recall that Buhari himself on March 11, 2015 in a campaign rally in Kaduna state made it clear that he will only probe post-May 29, 2015 corruption cases.
www.newtelegraphonline.com/i-wont-probe-former-leaders-says-buhari/
www.thenationonlineng.net/buhari-i-wont-probe-past-govts/

There was no talk of "far past" at any time.

2. Obasanjo, Atiku, IBB etc And The "Far Past"

Isn't this laughable? If Buhari had changed his mind from his earlier position, isn't it sane that he probes former administrations especially from the IBB regime? If he insist on probing democratic administrations, then why not start from May 29, 1999? Nigerians will like to know what happened to the billions recovered from Abacha. We will like to bring those indicted in the PTDF scandal to Justice (Obasanjo, Atiku and co). We will like to know what happened to the N2.3trillion the Obasanjo allegedly spent on power. We will like to bring to justice the Haliburton "thieves" among others.

Is Buhari now trying to protect Obasanjo, who happens to be his military benefactor in 1977 and his navigator to the March 28 electoral triumph? Is he trying excluding the Abacha regime because he was part of it? Is he protecting Yar'adua administration because he was his kinsman and certain officers of that government contributed to bring him to power?
Why is Buhari making nonsense of leadership?

3. Going Too Deep Is "Destructive"?

What is destructive in bringing officers of past administrations that has looted our common wealth to justice? Is he trying to say that he can't probe his benefactors (Abacha and Obasanjo), his kinsman (Yar'adua) and his Northern military comrade (IBB), but will only probe Jonathan's administration because he neither benefitted from Jonathan nor is he a kinsman to Jonathan?

Finally, I want to reiterate that I am not against the probe of Jonathan's administration(PDP and Jonathan also share this sentiment). However, it amounts to injustice, unpatriotism and "unstatesmanlike" for the President to come up with a new "jargon" such as "far past" in his bid to shield his benefactors from probe. I to appeal to patriotic Nigerians to call on President Buhari to tow the path of sanity, fairness and statesmanship in leadership.

May God Bless Us All.

Nobody stopped GEJ from probing the government before him. So, bastardnista or is it barcanista if only Baba Buhari can recover as much stolen money as possible from the immediate past government then Nigeria will make headway in the fight against corruption. This will set a trend and provide a template for probity, accountability and equity for future governments. This barcanista guy, I'm really doubting your patriotism and love for this country with your regular analysis indirectly supporting ineptitude, crapulence and massive corruption that was the 'mantra' for the past administration. Lastly, no matter what you say or write against PMB we know it's simply due to malice and mischief. It's only teenagers and children that are urging you and praising you for what you are doing. You know why? Because they don't know or understand the extend of damage done by the past administration. Most of them are under the roof of their parents and even the phone they are using is bought by their parents. I am not in anyway insulting you, but I think it's right to tell you the truth. You don't actually love GEJ more than myself, I solicited for votes for him in 2011 thinking that he will set an exemplary template for the progressive of Nigeria. What we actually got was impunity and massive corruption. May God give PMB the wisdom and understanding to lead Nigeria towards the path of progress. Amen.
