ogsmith: Wo, this doesn't make sense. So wld he want to sue NBC for accidents involving coke trucks.

Yes that's the way it done in a civilized country.... You sue the owner of the company and if the trucks are insured with an insurance company then they handle it and pay the loses
Politics / Re: Femi Falana Threatens To Sue Dangote, Oil Companies Over Accidents by Freddieyankee(m): 11:44pm On Oct 22, 2012
ballabriggs: Nigeria is in trouble. With the way the people think, I pity the country.

That Dangote operates a haulage business that has been involved in so many road accidents shows extreme disregard for health and safety. No properly run organisation will want to be seen as disregarding health and safety of the environment that it operates in.

Well this is Nigeria where anything goes or how else will you explain Dangote groups seeming silence over this issue. It shows they have no value for the lives of people. They are only out to sell their cement and that horrible spaghetti to you all.

People cannot put their trucks on the roads and continue to kill people. You all have to ask questions, to what extent do they comply with health and safety regulations? It is only right that you do.

God bless you.... You one of the few people on here with a brain..... I believe our problem is uncivilazation and the country and it people still have a long way to go.... If such killings happens in a civilized society and where the government and the people knows there right I bet the name dangote would have been history now with the way the killings are going.....try it in the USA and you will know wats up..... And wat happens to insuring this trucks or Nigeria has no insurance companies....smh
Religion / Re: Is It Wrong To Give Your Tithe To The Poor by Freddieyankee(m): 6:03pm On Oct 17, 2012
Goshen360: @ OP,

Even some false tithe teachers will tell you that when your neighbour is dying and a poor person need help so desperately, they will tell you you must still bring your tithe to the church. There is nothing like tithe to Christians in monetary form. If you have money and God speaks to your heart to help the poor, do it graciously and cheerfully. This way, you are an angel sent to another man.God will reward you.

If you also decide to give certain portion of your income to help the poor cheerfully, God bless you for such but it doesn't necessarily have to be 10%, it can be more or less or even vary from month to month. I have seen where it is written "God loves a cheerful giver" my brother but I am yet to read where it is written "God loves a cheerful tither" because tithe is "by force" but giving is "by grace, willingness and cheerfulness"......Glory to God!

Oga ade happen.... Long time na Fred b this

Ammyng: One thing I know for sure is, you cant possibly make them to love you. dont make yourself look desperate to them no matter how hard it is. Nigerians are culture addicts for all I know and they most times use the culture as an escape exuse to dump a foreign woman after using her for green card and so many other things. Though your own care here is different.

I do understand what shes going through but don't come here and make Nigerians look like they all users and gold diggers.... Talking abt green cards, are Nigerians the only country that uses people and dumb them, what happened to the people from the carribeans and other African countries, Make more research please and stop blasting Nigerians on here...... Do you even know wat they go through from the hands of this Akata people before getting the green card? I bet you don't so please.

My dear, only God will fully reward you. He may not know what you've done for him probably because he has a lot on his mind as a newly-arrived person. I come across such people like that constantly and I also come across grateful people too. In life, there will always be the grateful ones who appreciate niceties and those who take niceties for granted, but don't let the ungrateful ones stop you from offering help to someone in need when necessary. Don't be angry at the guy. God bless.
