Good news for now fridge reception is improving. On 9E managed to pull one transponder of the Italian beam 12256V 14305 with some Greece beams warming up on 150cm offset with inverto black lnb��

Invacom sells a good range of LNBs with circular polarization. The only one I own (QPH-031) works lke a charm. I think it's now outdated as the company lists it as a "discontinued" product.

Yeah invacom has good lnbs on offset dishes...their prime focus lnb feed is outperformed by the stargold Fuji...at my location 36°E its better to go for Asia Sat 5&7 on C band with a 3M reflector to get the star package or Ku band for dish TV...will report on my findings soon

Thanks a lot mate. I expected that Russian Beams were not receivable with reasonable dish sizes anywhere in Africa except of parts of Egypt or Libya. I asked here on purpose because there is a DXer in NW Italy (superdish66) with 4.2m DH (http://www.digital-forum.it/showthread.php?146560-Ricezione-Canali-Russi-36-Est/page8) receiving all African Beam frequencies and these two which do not lock. So if here nobody can get them this means for sure that they are from 36B or 36C Russian Beam.

Thts an interesting find. The sub Saharan beam of 36B is gotten all the way in UK with a 2.4M offset for guys to receive the early kickoff of EPL because they don't receive it on Sky Sports..for the Eurasian beam you need a Ku circular lnb to nab it...waiting for results

it didn't work i raise it above the feed assemble and it didn't work infarct i lost the signal,the problem is the lnb,if i can get a high gain lnb like inverto which will add 5% to my signal and thats all i will be fine.so for almost a year i Agkilis have been asking for inverto lnb and i have not been given,hmmm,i dont have words .am not happy i was promised this year g
January this year but this is April an am still looking for the same lnb is it that non of our great gurus can sell me this inverto lnb ?

When you changed the LNB location did you try to raise and lower the dish?

Am using a 150cm offset am yet to get a 240. Am usifor a 380 for fridge reception
The first three photos are of c band conical scaller attached to a c band lnb...the last pic is the one you should concentrate coz its a Ku band lnb with a smaller conical scaller....if you can note well the lnb is abit higher from the feed assembly... Try it out

Hello thea am doing great....I have a couple of pics that might help you...the focal point is just above where the the three feed supports meets...try correcting that n report back.....I've seen its universal for prodelin n channel master offset antennae

Hello thea bro....try from square one....get the original feed system that came with the dish and assemble it just as you found it before you dismantled your dish. it will give u the correct focal point coz I bealive you are missing an inch or two going towards the reflector and away from the feed support

The beam is so far to the east....the guy with more luck must be on the shores of Somali coast or eastern Ethiopia

below is the main beam of yamal 402 Ku band which crossed over UK and Europe and sub Africa...the channel will probably be $ and champion may require EPL rights over europe....in the home of EPL..

There are three beams on ua pic ie Northern/European,Southern &Steerable beams...champion TV will be broadcasting on the southern one that covers sub Saharan Africa venturing into Europe will b a big step...let's wait

Yamal 402 African beam is strong as of big brother...you can use even 60cm dish in sub sahara,west africa & southern africa...about champion TV being free yesterday as watching the Real Madrid game it went scrabbled for a minute...let's enjoy while it lasts

My location is Nairobi Kenya using a prodeling 3.8M pf dish am not getting any hotbird tp but receiving Eutelsat 7e Europe B beam as it is nearer to me than hotbird
Check the beam below that am recceiving

even if you use inverto long neck lnb..it will still be at same focal point with mti lnb cos the lnb is on correct focal point!

If it gives me headache al have to extend or reduce the lnb support arms n play with the focal point....currently am on 7e European beam highest strength being 10762V on 87% and 11679V lowest on 77%...if I get an extra 5% am sure al nab the Europe A beam which resembles that of hot birdbird

yeah lnb is left with one outer scalar but the c band scalar ring was not removed..if you observe closely, cut was made at the back of the scalar,lnb holder was removed!cos I need the scalar to move backwards! to avoid blocking the lnb feed!

Oooh I have seen all the scalers on c band are all thea....I bet using a long necked lnb like the inverto single will help in the moving up n down....

I see the lnb is left with one outer scaler then the c band scaler has the inside scaler removed.....if the c band scaler is not cut does that affect the signal?

..there is nothing special,cut off some part of feed horn...remaining the plastic that covers the feed! the plastic cover gives extra improvements!

or you can cut off the plastic then use c band scalar ring with the ku lnb to reduce interference thereby improving signal quality..

Morn bro...have you tried the Gregorian setup?...the subrefrector dosent block the dish coz its set at an offset angle....as those fibo dishes used in Europe as small as 90cm and they outperform a regular 90cm dish by farfar

On 12226v27500 Are weak but it will be stronger when it will move to nilesat 201!if you have good 3m dish better still 3.2m or above you can point dish @7.3west and also focus on 7west to receive 12418H27500 ON eutelsat@7.3W for b4u movies( subtitled) ZEE living entertainment English! Morn ...my quest for nailing Hot Bird came to a halt as I thought it may need a bigger dish as from 5M upwards to try an get the 40dbw beam that covers Middle East plus pan dishes have low efficiencies going down to 60% ...this means underutillised dish...

More to that getting a 380cm offset will push the efficiency to 70-75% and adding a subreflector to the system will kick it to 85% to max....fingers crossed
