Romance / Re: Avoid Telling Men Your Age Until... by Fredoh(m): 4:26pm On Apr 20
jeromestarks:
I met this beautiful, hardworking and godloving lady somewhere at work. She's very nice and accommodating. She's also a graduate.
Let me quickly say that this lady is a decent lady - yeah, I went FBI on her; searched her socials: Facebook, insta, X etc and sincerely, all the pictures she took were done in her home (she stays with her mother).

As I interacted with her, I discovered she's a homely person. She doesn't club, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink. She's just all about stability.

I fell in love with her personality until I asked one last question.
"Sorry, I don't mean to pry. Please, how old are you?"

Without hesitation, this lady answered "I am 27"

Immediately I heard 27, I lost every single ounce of interest I had in her.
I didn't show it to her. I just said " Wow! You look so pretty, one would think you're 18. Thank God I asked."
She laughed and I could see her blush.

We discussed about other things, exchanged numbers and she left.
I have made up my mind never to call her. The age put me off and I don't even know why.

So dear ladies, do not tell men your age until the both of you are in a serious relationship. Never tell a man your age on the first date. Never!
Wait until you see some level of commitment or at least, until he got used to you a little.

27 is a perfect age that will make me get even more serious with her. To me, 27 is the magical number for a lady to settle down.

I think it’s not on her OP, it’s on you. You’re probably 25 or below.

One-sided!

There are misguided males and misguided females here.

Jennyclay alone proves you wrong. When a woman murders a man, Jennyclay will say the murder is in self defense. When a woman murders a fellow woman, Jennyclay will blame it on men and want all men dead.

When a man murders a woman, Jennyclay will say he should be killed immediately. When a man murders a fellow man, Jennyclay will say that the two men deserve death.

True!!

They may struggle to eat good food, but they are ready to share the very little they have, with the woman they love. That is the best way to demonstrate love and empathy.
Now what have you given to your husband or boy friend, since he has been with you ?
How has he benefitted from knowing you ? How have you demonstrated your love for him ?

Don’t mind her, those ladies complaining of love and empathy can’t even survive as a man for 24hrs.
When men provide for you and you still complain of lack of love, then become a man and see for yourself, when you’ll be loved according to your pocket. Na that time your eye go clear. Nigerian lady complaining of love !! 😂

wow, awesome... you are right and have a strong point
A very compeling piece of idea about Nigerian men... sadly its true but wholistically its myopic.

I am not here to make a CASE for men... i acknowledge your expressed thoughts as reality but as INCOMPLETE.

SEE, MEN ARE NOT LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY... We are only LOVED BY MERIT, RAISED AS HUNTERS TO COMPETE AND PROVIDE else we are not competent.

THE THINGS YOU MENTION WE LACK ARE ACTUALLY NOT LACKING BUT SURPRESSED BY THE HARSH REALITIES OF LIFE WE HAVE LIVED THROUGH....

Let me explain... EVEN on the case of wooing or getting a LADY for sex or marriage... LADIES GENERALLY FEEL SAFER WITH A RICH DUDE, THAN A CARING, EMPATHETIC S.O.B. Whyyy because the COUNTRY IS HARD.... and Ladies think of the FUTURE ALOT.
So after being drilled by our parents to always COME FIRST IN CLASS, and being punished for not coming first or not outdoing others.... we now enter a tetiary institution where only the BEST GRADUANDS are assured of jobs or connections... so we have to compete, hustle for money and do everything possible to be among those who thrive or survive.. AFTER YEARS OF LIVING AS A SURVIVOR.... we now marry, with HOOOOOGEE responsibilities, wife and kids... most likely WIFE HAS NOTHING DOING OR EARNS LITTLE YET FEELS ENTITLED TO BE TREATED LIKE A QUEEN.... Then we should let down our GUARD and still be as caring, as emotionally sensitive, as all that you women want us to be??
C'mon sis... YOU CAN'T HAVE IT ALL.

Marry unambitious men from other countries who are not living in the same terrible conditions we have had in NIGERIA... they have emotions to spare, because THEIR FINANCIAL SYSTEM WORKS and is DEPENDABLE... not here. So you can't come here and GENERALIZE, when majority of your GENDER.... WILL CHOOSE SIX CARS OVER SIX PACKS. Pls... have some balance.

Little wonder why MEN are no longer interested in MARRIAGE... because it has become like an orphanage, so baby mama is now what many opt for, so as to retain their freedom. Ladies wanting EVERYTHING yet offering so little JUST BECAUSE THEY EXIST, is the highest form of lowkey witchcraft ever. grin

ALL MEN ARE NOT THE SAME, ALL WOMEN ARE NOT THE SAME..... MARRIAGE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE..... BUT MONEY IS IMPORTANT TO ALL.

Bro, I love ❤️ you‼️ No need for me to add anything again!! Succinctly put‼️

2. Why will I pay money to secure money which i've not seen, is not in my custody and isn't mine?

Lol... For a woman to behave as such to the man that shows she married the man mostly because of his money...
Tides turn... And she shows her true colour....
And things later got better...
The man should divorce the woman on a basis of loveless marriage...
Coz if that marriage continue then the envy and coldness from each of them can kill one of them...

Succinctly put ‼️
Even though you seem to have a different mindset.
But I think women don’t genuinely love, it is men that love women unconditionally. For women, if a man can’t provide, the above is the case.

I just don't get it. I mean if you aint extra, extra careful, you'll easily fall.

Someone who I know to be fervent in spirit just fell because of that same sin.
I'm not judging, I'm just curious. Why?
Question of the day - How do you resist the temptation?

This is my take.
Because sex is a natural requirement for the body.

If eating food is a sin, then people will fall for eating related sin more than sex.

Why because food is a natural requirement, in fact necessary for the body.

Questions
What will make such an early teen go do house maid: Poverty/lack of parents or guardians.

What will make the girl’s evil 👿 instinct to strike: She may not have been treated well.

Such children should be with their parents and enjoy their teenage not to be suffering.

If you send your child to do house help at that age, the child will start noticing something’s that only adult should experience and handle.

The child will expect care and equal treatment but won’t get it as she’s not the madams daughter.
She will be put to work in harsh conditions while Madams children are watching TV 📺 and expecting her to clean their house.

She’ll be seeing and experiencing the cruelty of this world 🌎 at tender age. Children can’t handle this and whatever defensive instinct they have will strike‼️

I still believe the girl was not treated well but as we can’t prove that, she remains the only culprit‼️

If you give birth to children in abject poverty knowing you can’t cater for their needs, you’re tapping them into World 🌎 of modern slavery‼️

Ronu and tribalism eh...the woman and the other one at the background probably both of them are police women 🚓 🚨 called by the maid's boss to interrogate the maid,

Left what they came there for all they are interested in was where the maid's from, her village, her surname, her name, her state,

To let the whole world know that this person that did such thing o! is from so, so, so and so place o!

They keep emphasizing that she's from so, so, so and so place o!
To further ternish the image of that particular region.

Whilst in their brown roof republic region, people lose their skulls ☠️ on a daily tongue and things even more than that are happening there.

Even in my hometown Ibadan, Ibo girls dominate all the brothels across the state. No care for quota system at all.

If you go to any brothel in Ibadan and shout “Shinyere”, almost 5 girls will answer you yes at once.

Same thing is applicable in Kano, Kaduna, Ondo, and even their own Imo state. How I wish president Tinubu can make the short time fee go as low as #50 so that we can run these girls out of business so they can find better things to do with their life.

It is not that easy.
This thing is tied to the economy. The unfortunate thing is that such vices pay people more than many legit businesses.
According to the above report, they were getting 5K to 10K per customer and they can get 7 to 10 customers this will give them roughly 50K per day.

Many people don’t earn that much.
Nigeria’s economy is so bad that many vices pay more than legit hustle.

If their per customer price drops to #50, this drop will be a reflection of the economy not the ashawo business only.

Hence the best thing is to ban prostitution in nigeria while encouraging legit business‼️
