Mine is that bad. Can't even remember the last time I had a sound sleep, I go to bed around 11:40 Pm daily and before 1:30 Am my eyes are wide open.
Someone saw me in the mall just 3 days ago and said that I've not slept for quite some time. Many are really observant.

Yes people are really observant and truth is lack of sleep shows on our faces.

Lack of sleep can make you look older than you should.

When I became deliberate about my 8 hours of sleep, my coworkers observed and told me.

I have observed that lack of proper sleep is costing me.
So I set up an 8 hours sleep schedule which I didn’t use to abide by before, but now I do.
Schedule on my phone is from 10:30PM to 6:30AM with a sleep beep and a wake alarm.

Now I feel the difference even coworkers are telling me I look fresh, calm and sweet.

Lack of proper sleep na disease. Inside your hustle try and sleep. Medically, the recommended hours is 8 but must adults don’t get that.
Thank me later.

Why did you get into a marriage both of you are not financially and emotionally prepared for?

Why bring the poor kids to come suffer when both of you are not ready financially?

I call it wickedness when you have kids without the means to take care of them.

I have no sympathy for you, I only pity the poor innocent kids. Instead of looking for ways to solve the problems you willfully created, you are looking for another man to shift your burdens.

You still will never learn and are always seeking for shortcuts.

MARRIAGE AND CHILDBEARING ARE NOT NECESSARY AND SUFFICIENT CONDITIONS FOR HAPPINESS IN LIFE!

We seem to share same ideology Sir, you just said my mind.
I always think that it is unfair to bring children into this world when you know you can’t cater for them. This is not peculiar to the OP, it’s a generic statement. People do that a lot, and eventually hang the burden of huge responsibilities to their children by the time they old and feeble.

Back to the OP, discuss with family, take a brake and discuss the way forward with your man.
There’s no hiding place, he needs to take responsibility!!

Yes, Cost is the main factor boss, the civic and the corolla are both north of 2million at least to get a good nigerian used, the volvo is way more affordable as from research i can see nigerian used for 1-1.5m, I live in Lagos as well so parts and repairs wont be an issue, I see quite a number of them around here kept outside with no threat of theft, and men they look good and drive real good

OP that’s a bold step right there. The Volvo is a beauty to behold. Has everything I need in a car. Making Toyota Corolla look overpriced.

Only major worry is the availability of parts and mechs which you said you have a way around it.

I would have taken your decision but I live up north.

Kindly give us an update about your relationship with your car in 6 months time.

Personally, i have never liked the idea of divorce settlement.

Yes. Think whatever you wanna think.

But divorce settlement is to me a fraud. It makes the whole marriage thing a thing that people are now afraid to get into.

No one deserves to lose their wealth simply because they got married.

You don't marry a wealthy man and then in 3 or 5 or even 10 years time feel entitled to half of his wealth.

Yes, let the court settle the matter and let the woman get something from the man based on "compassionate" grounds if she had been a housewife.

But a woman working at the same time should pack her things and move on.

You both spent the time to build yourself. You both had your fun together. You both gave birth.

So why give one spouse the idea that they deserve half of what they probably didn't work for?

This is love being bought and sold.

Marriage has been monetized by certain groups of people and men need to start speaking up.

Look around you, some women in the western world now live on child support and they feel "empowered". Such nonsense.

If you are not financially able to take care of the child why fight for custody?

The fact!!
And it’s coming from a lady!
Everything nowadays have been monetized dear.
But any human with a reasonable sense of Justice, knows that such laws treats men unfairly!!

this law will soon be reviewed world wide as its not even helping the women. The fears of losing everything is growing in men and they are running from holy matrimony therefore creating more single women. Apparently some bad women are taking advantage of the system which is also not helping the good women since we can't read minds to know who is coming for the money and not for love.

All the women claiming what the guy did is bad, if he is your son or your brother, would you like it that a woman that signed for better for worse is taking more than half of the wealth she didn't build for a marriage that is not even up to 5years, so what should happen to the mother that carried him for 9months , he should take 1percent abi? or what should happen to his family members that were there through tick and stones and that will still be there when all his wealth has been allocated to a woman who fell out of love to one random tiktok guy.

if women know what is good for them , they should rally for this rubbish law to be adjusted because some kind of money can turn good girls bad. 1m pounds per month is too much , i would divorce any man half way too if i was a lady because i know going forward, my entire life is made without him.

The house-help gets paid by the wife, meaning that the husband in no way or shape wants to help the wife take care of the house chores, yet expects her to foot some of the house bills and take care of her own personal maintenance.

Since the wife is taking care of some bills, the husband should also learn to fend for himself by doing some some house chores like cooking for himself and the children when the wife is not around or tired. He should have seen that day as an opportunity to treat the children to a Sunday outing and if possible go out of his way to buy the wife takeaway pending when she will be back. These little gestures go a long way.

I bet he is the type of man that spends all weekend watching football and going out for drinks with his male friends, while he expects the wife to slave away all all weekend.

The guy simply does not love his wife. He is just using her as a nanny, cook, house help, sleep partner and child rearer. He is only annoyed things are not going his selfish way.

Mr. OP, first of all, I sympathize with you on what you're going through in your marriage. May the Almighty God take absolute control.

Secondly, what you mentioned that your wife is doing to you is typical of most Nigerian women. Withholding sex, not cooking or showing you attention. It's their oldest control mechanism to keep their man in check. It's just that your wife took hers too far. Funny enough, there's not a single man in Nigeria whose wife didn't use these tactics on him, the smart ones always turn the tables and the weak ones always succumb. Kindly spend more time with your dad (if he's still around) or some of your guys who are married let them give you the OT.

My advice for you is simple; find your wife's thumbscrew and use it to counter attack (turn the table). I'll tell you a short story, hopefully, you can learn a thing or two from it. My wife for example, when she started her own 'kolomental' back then. She won't cook, she won't clean the house, she won't give her best during sex. It's always one complain or another. The most painful part of it was the food, every other thing I can bear. I sat her down and spoke to her, nothing changed. I sometimes don't eat at home just to express my displeasure. She didn't bulge, rather, she mocked me and told me that I'll die of hunger.
I reported to her parents, nothing changed.

Then, I spoke to my dad about it and he gave me the OT. I started chatting and receiving calls from one particular number. I began to spend quality time outside my house, she still didn't bulge. I took it to another level by subtly making her friends and family members become aware of my new lifestyle. Fear catch Hanty and she quickly surrendered. It was that moment I found her thumbscrew; my wife is very particular about other people's perception of her marriage. She hates to give others the impression that her marriage is going through something. She's that type of lady who doesn't want her friends, family or even the neighbours to ever think that her husband doesn't love her dearly. That was it, I found her thumbscrew and the dick measuring contest was won by me! cheesy cheesy

Since then, I now know what drives her, what motivates her and what unsettles her. For example, if I want her to knack very well. I'll stop over at her shop on my way back from work, buy her chop chop and we'll both be eating it outside. Gist with her outside, help her sell her stuff and be doing touch & do. You can be sure that night ehn, she will finish me on the bed. And in the same way, if she offends me and I want to treat her Bleep up, I'll just stop over at her shop with a frown on my face or attitude. Instantly, Hanty will start to dey beg. cheesy cheesy

In summary, every woman has a thumbscrew. Your job as a man is to figure out your wife's thumbscrew and use it to the fullest. If you do that, you'll change the dynamics. And in seduction, he who has the initiative has the power. You need to take that initiative!

PS- marriage, business, sports, & politics are ARTS. To succeed at it, one must learn the intricacies.

Wow!
Well done sir for your strategy and hard work!

So to make love to one’s wife one must to this rituals?
This marriage thing no easy wo!!

Religion / Re: If You Don't Want People To Go To Hell, Then Why Have Children? by Fredoh(m): 5:55pm On Mar 25, 2023
Wilgrea7:
Hello everyone,

So I've been thinking about something recently.

The idea behind the Abrahamic religions, is that we are sinners, and by virtue of that, deserve some sort of eternal punishment.

In the Christian religion, we're all born into sin. And even if we accept this Jesus character, we could still commit sin and end up in hell. What I'm basically saying is, it is incredibly more difficult to live a “holy" life, than it is to live a "sinful" one.

It is even further asserted by their Jesus, that "narrow is the way that leads to salvation, and only few find it", meaning most people alive would eventually end up in hell.

So if that's the case, then why would you choose to have children?

Why would you choose to bring more people into the world, knowing quite well, that they'd eventually that the vast majority of them would eventually end up in hell, at least according to your scripture?

If you truly believe in your scripture, then why would you knowing partake in something that would eventually lead to mass damnation?

I await some interesting answers

At OP, I’ve been having similar thought for sometime now. I told my colleagues, most people say the world is a horrible place. According to a research that about 83% of Americans are unhappy about their lives. With so much evil in this world! And to make matters worse most people will end up in hell based on the Traditional Doctrine of Hell (TDH) - the narrow and wide gate teaching. Even by examining the modern man, how many people actually obey God? Many people are actually hypothetical in nature. All these actually corroborates the fact that most People will end up in hell.
So I ask why have children?
To any child you birth that child has higher probability of ending up in hell not to talk of how crazy the world is.

Yet we can’t help but procreate!! Why?
Even the people that seem to agree with me can’t help but procreate!
They said, “How could you have existed if your mum and dad didn’t give birth to you?”

I guess the answer is that every living thing is/has a seed to which there’s a life force that needs to propagate or replicate itself.

And that I believe was gotten from “be fruitful and multiply” as against what @knowingchrist said earlier which was presented respectively but I disagree with some things therein!

1. Yes! Except a man be born-again, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God - John 3 vs 1 - 8 - either through the broad gate which leads to destruction(Hell) at its end or the Narrow gate which leads to True Life(Heaven)- Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14. The Kingdom of God is a Nation not of this world over which Jesus Christ is King and judge- Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 - and it is in that Kingdom that you will find Heaven and Hell. undecided

2. According to scripture, all those who are not of the blood of Israel were condemned to die from their beginning in Genesis 3 vs 19 - 22. So, they are free to imagine for themselves the "afterlife" they desire. undecided

Never in my whole life did I ever come across Bible being interpreted this way!
Your post seem to suggest that those outside of the kingdom of God will simply cease to exist - to which many modern people will be grateful!

What it actually and obviously mean is that the entire humanity will be divided into two halves. Those who make it to God’s kingdom will enter heaven and those who don’t will enter hell.
