Lonestar124:God exists, anybody arguing this has seen nothing. The problem is many people and religions introduce God in a deceptive manner. They make laws and traditions and call it God's laws, when some people find out of this deceit, they often throw away the baby with the bath water. They conclude that it was all brainwashing and that God doesn't exist. Focus on building a personal direct relationship with God, do not over rely on anybody, having some apostles, pastors or religious teachers intermediate on your behalf before God or pray for you is not bad, but do not become completely dependent on them. Sometimes call on God and listen to him directly, this of course requires a close relationship with him. |
plaetton:To be honest, I do not know. However, sociopaths and psychopaths are usually bold and daring. They aren't likely to paint or completely paint themselves as victims if they aren't, except there is something tangible to gain from that. Narcissists on the other hand are petty and prone to envy and feelings of inadequecies. I cannot say for sure how sociopathic or malignant narcissists function. I have mostly read about them on quora, but since this people usually create hard times, I assume them to be weak. Weak people create hard times, It is their revenge or make up for the supposed cruelty, lack of attention or recognition from the world. |
happney65:I agree 100%, if Tinubu's Government can carry this out, he will be one of the best things that ever happened to Nigeria. The states can survive without oil money, all we have to do is redirect our minds, look inwards, adapt, find and develop other sources of income and grow. Let's try living civilly and considerately, everything shouldn't be me, me, me. |
plaetton:Sociopaths, psychopaths, narcissists e.t.c are all drawn to power, but for different reasons. Narcissists desperately wants to believe they are perfect and superior to others. This can cause self righteousness and a need for validation, praise, worship and untainted reputation. They also want to believe that they and things connected to them are superior, this can result in sociopathic and malignant narcissists usually killing for the dominance and superiority of their tribe, religion e.t.c. They like being revered and bowed to, so a good number of them will be drawn to positions or organizations that paint them in a good light, increases their societal reputation and makes them come off as morally superior or better. However, religion is not to be totally blamed. This people will still find other means of exerting control, hurting others to feel powerful e.t.c. |
plaetton:First correction, not all religions or religious sects commit these evils. Secondary, what is your definition of sociopathy and sociopathic traits? People have freewill, humans can choose to do good or bad regardless of if they were born with a personality disorder. Even majority of humans in the world who are considered normal or neurotypical are capable and sometimes carry out despicable and evil acts. I consider people with high narcisstic traits or sociopathic narcissists a bigger problem to the world. These people are worst because they score low on self reflection and regulation, they crave and seek out perfection, control and dominance. Their ego and unstable self esteem is easily hurt even when you are joking with them. Worst part, they always project and accuse others of been the problem. They can't stay on their own nor mind their business, always instigating drama, chaos and looking for who to devalue and prey on. Refusing to bow to them brings you more hate and character assassination from them. |
Any industrialized Christian country in Western Europe with high chances of quick employments will do. |
Calvilman:Hello, Calvilman. Long time, how has life been treating you? You no longer update us on your business and journey in Africa and around the world. I am seeking an answer to this, can you enlighten me and possibly other readers : How are working hours in most European Factories and industries, especially the Nordic countries? Do workers in the manufacturing sectors run night shifts? How many hours and shifts do most factories and industries operate in a day? |
Phoenix1184:Is the WhatsApp group still active? |
pansophist:Nigeria pidgin don confirm say na you. ![]() |
pansophist:wow, the speed was great. Sure AI haven't taken over your account? Lol. |
pansophist:Hello, I have some questions. How are working hours in most European Factories and industries, especially the Nordic countries? Do workers in the manufacturing sectors run night shifts? How many hours and shifts do most factories and industries operate in a day? Sorry, if you aren't informed about my questions or that you consider them pestering. |
seguno2:China is investing and transfering low and mid technologies to countries like Vietnam. Nigeria and many countries in Africa are unstable and are runned by corrupt incompetent leaders. Factories, industries and Businesses are suffering setbacks and are shutting down in Nigeria. It is called investment not charity, who will confidently invest in an unsafe country like Nigeria? Both in physical security and economic security. Nigeria, the largest market in Africa scores low. Even Nigerians are intentionally moving their money out of Nigeria or converting to dollars. Why do you call the mentioned individuals empty comrades? |
seguno2:Cc: Gerrard59. Some people on quora say America invested in China to use its cheap lab our to manufacture low tier goods for America consumption, while American industries focus on the high tier goods. Remember it's not America that is teaching China high tech. I do not consider America evil or a bad country though, maybe more of a necessary evil. The devil you know is better than the angel you don't know. Without America, terrorists, dark dictators, extremist religions and countries might be running the world. Perhaps it is time for a new world order, let's see. PS: America has done some good things. |
mrvitalis:FDIs aren't bad or good, it depends on their agreements and conditions with their host countries and the sectors they invest in. Some FDIs in Nigeria have an agreement to reinvest all or most of their profits back into the country. FDIs should just be well regulated, I don't have a problem with FDIs repatriating a small percentage of their profits. Of course, the government has to create a good and safe business environment for investors to have the confidence to invest, diversify and leave most of their profits in their host countries. Their initial Capital can be repatriated fully. |
mrvitalis:I agree with you 100 percent, except that it is not a socialist mindset, it's more of a novice capitalist mindset. Since full capitalists believe the government shouldn't fund or involve in businesses and industries, infrastructure or welfare is the only thing left for them to spend on. Socialists believe in government or communal ownership. This means if a government or country is socialist it will look out for creating or funding industries and businesses. Social capitalism is what I consider ideal though. |
mrvitalis:Why do you dislike FDI that much, because of repatriation of funds? |
mrvitalis:CC: seun. You have been proposing some economic solutions to Nigeria problems. What do you think of this guy's theory. |
qwertyuioplm:He had a good economic team, but a lower population is also a large factor. During his tenure, Nigeria population was around 150 million, 180- 200. Now, Nigeria population is nearing 250 million, this means more imports to meet the needs of about 230 million people, given the fact that we are an import dependent economy. This results to a weaker currency, higher inflation, high cost of living and hardship. Our high population growth also means there are more mouths to feed, given our low productivity in agriculture and the menace of terrorists and bandits, there isn't enough food to go round. This results in higher costs for the available food products, goods, materials and services. Incompetent governments, political office holders, foolish uneducated unenlightened tribalistic citizens are also a large factor. I don't want to trade blames or criticize anybody, but the Government and Nigerians are largely responsible for the hardship we are experiencing in Nigeria. |

BrutusOj:Good afternoon, I want to apply for the Civic Education vacancy. |
Peledonomy:I think it's more of a northern thing than muslim. My observation is that the average northerner is more contented and helpful than the average southerner. Another factor is that a lot of christians in Nigeria are not true christians, they are religious for one reason, benefit or the other. The number of churches in Nigerian society is proof of it. You will find true christians mostly in developed countries, where people go to church not for miracles, prophecy or financial problems, but because they want to worship God. |
seguno2:Because most of us Africans are nothing but self centered brainwashed idiots. It's not the West that stops Nigeria from achieving 24hrs electricity or other simple advancements. African leaders and African people are the number 1 problem of Africa. |
seguno2:Africa situation is caused by both factors, the West, African leaders and the African populace. However, much of the blame should go to African leaders and African people. |
pansophist:Glad I am not the only one who sees this, I don't know why a good number of Nigerians and Africans aren't passionate about changing this. While I agree that nations might have to prey on each other sometimes, especially at their developing stages. It is greed and over ambitiousness on the part of the west on their continual exploitation and predation of Africa and some other parts of the world. Especially at this age when a decent life can be given to every human worldwide if we keep the population low or checked. |
Nsogbu001:Remember me for your giveaway abeg. |
Kalatium:I am interested to hear your views, how are Chinese citizens being oppressed? |
Kalatium:How are Chinese citizens being oppressed? CC;TCTRILLS |
TheBillyonaire:Have you contested or sponsored anyone for any political position before? Why not start at the national assembly or governorship and see what the future holds? |
TheBillyonaire:Hello, what are your dreams for Nigeria, what kind of Nigeria or country do you want to see. |
Gerrard59:Tinubu does'nt come off as a religious fanatic. Do you view it that he hates Igbos or christians? What makes you certain his government will be as you predicted? It is those around him we might have to worry about in my own opinion. I agree that a civil war, unrest, chaos, revolution or reset might likely happen, don't know how intense it might be though. It depends on how it is handled. |
sukkot:Lol, no p. Notify if any job offer or business opportunities arises. |
sukkot:I know say you be atheist, part of the reason i think untamed religion is dangerous to the society, especially here in africa, no p though. |
