It was day before yesterday on our way
from lagos to Abuja.
We boarded a 14- seater bus
with full air condition, and
the journey started, when we got
to Ilorin market.
The driver stopped and people
were buying things,
some were buying banana, bread. And yam, but I bought nothing because I was fasting.
So there was one woman inside
our bus who bought bread
of 200 naira but she had 500
naira but the seller had no
change.
She decided to borrow 200 naira
from a man inside the bus
and promised to give him back.
Problem started when we got to
one area along the ilorin-
kwara axis near the bush, the
woman told the driver to drop
her.
The driver and other passengers
were surprised but the
woman insisted that she wants
to drop.
So the driver packed and the
woman came down and said
she has load in the booth. Other
passengers were not happy
with her and were saying that
she should hurry up because
the area looks dangerous.
Then it became a little worrying when she
wantef to settle the man
she collected 200 naira from,
to buy something. The
man said he had no change and
challenged the woman that
when she knew she was going
to stop on the way why did
she collect his money.
The two of them started
quarelling and all the passengers
started abusing the woman and
calling her names.
The woman shouted on the
passengers that 'nobody should interfere except the
person wants trouble".
As for me I didn't say anything I
was just reading my
newspaper and More because I was
fasting too.
Out of annoyance the man
snatch the 500 naira from her
and asked the driver to move,
even passengers supported
the man and said driver should
move.
The woman told the driver that if
he tries to move that
vehicle that after 20 mins the bus
will have accident and
everybody will die, that if he
thinks she is lying he should
move.
(you could actually taste the fear in the air...... At least I was tasting it) , but
some passengers ask the
driver to move that she can't do
anything, some started
rebuking her and shouting

So the driver moved immediately,
after 2mins drive, one
woman inside the bus said that
the driver should reverse
back that those type of women
are devilish and that
something like that happened
last year and that was how
the vehicle carrying one of her
friends crashed and all the
passengers died.
I was double scared now. So some
other passengers now told
the driver to turn and we went
back to the place and met the
woman dancing.
She put one of her wrapper on
the ground, put 3 bitter kola
and her scaf and was singing

When we stopped and heard
what she was reciting and
dancing, we were all scared
because we were 14 inside the bus
with including the driver , even in the air
conditioned bus, everybody was
sweating heavily except myself
but the sweat from other
people soaked my clothes.
That man was asked to return
her 500 naira to her back,
she rejected it and said she
wants only her 300 naira
change.
We now asked if any body had
300 naira but out of fear
nobody agreed to bring money
even me too.
The woman started shouting on
all the passengers that "
you people think I am an ordinary
person like you? I will
deal with you people because all of
you abused me except that
man with a cap reading
newspapers"
Whew!! I was happy inside me because
she was referring to me, I
said thank God inside my mind.
Again she started reciting and

It was then I realized that she
had removed me from the list
of those that will die, so my
sweat reduced, but other
passengers were still pleading
with her and begging her to
forgive them including the driver.
As everybody was begging and
pleading with her, we heard
the siren of an oncoming police
patrol van but the woman
said nobody should try to stop
police if not the person will
die immediately.
Out of fear nobody stopped the
police, however the police
van on its own stopped and the
officer in front asked us if
there was any problem? All of us
replied no problem, and the
police moved pass!
After about 40mins we saw one
bike coming out from the
bush path and stopped there
near the woman.
The bike man came down and
hugged the woman and was
speaking their language to her.
Immediately the woman packed
her things and climbed the
bike and told us that the bike
man is her husband that she
just used the trick to make us
wait with her until her
husband came, because she could not stay alone in this scary dangerous
place.
All of us stood there and watched
them as they rode through the bush path
and moved away!

Who was more scared? Me, the woman, the other passengers, the Driver or you that's reading this story?

Hi busy nairalanders.. am sure you are already bored of this guy who keeps talking about his forum am bored of him too..but this is my reason for all this.... I wanted a medium where nigerians could chat and have fun (well nairaland is already here) so i didnt get much new sign ups..I wanted to create a blog where anybody can post and write on...that got me some sign ups but nobody was writing...so i thougt what is it that nigerians forums dont have.... easy and quick access with minimal data usage for The users .. so i set out to create a mobile app where users can
