I was reading a thread not long ago and I saw what someone wrote that caught my attention and every thread I read I saw it, it was the way we have intentionally and painstakingly twisted the English language

Why write "yhu" when you can write "you"

Why write kk when you can write OK it is not as if the letter O and the letter K are far from each other (you just checked)

Why say sowie when you can say sorry (talk about doing the wrong thing at all cost since it practically takes about two seconds less to type the right thing)

Why type mtchew to show you don't like something when you could just hiss and keep scrolling down

A lot of people think it makes you look cool and blah.....very cuun wi weell bi tiyping lieke dis

I personally don't do it but it is everywhere

Copy and paste is a great way to go if you don't have much time writing until you actually have time...... It is only wrong when you don't give reference or credit to the author you got it from...... Advantages of copy and paste both to original writers and copiers....
If your content is copied and then pasted on another website and the copier includes a link to your website it means you have a backlink in that websites thereby increasing your change of higher page rank

If you see a content and you know your faithful followers would love that content would you create a post and say hi go to originalblog.com to read this very interesting article or you would bring the articles to your blog and reference the author

If you say copy and paste makes you poor when you see some of Linda ikejis posts and cross checked the dates and time with others posts you would know although now she would have professional writers in her payroll

So I say copy but don't just paste, rewrite before you paste and if you can't rewrite reference the owner

Hi I just made a new forum then in a topic I told nairalanders to share their sites and forums on nairaland.com so everyone would visit other people's websites and sign up for their forums , but I noticed some things on the websites that made me change my mind, this are some things to do to prevent others from changing their mind

1. Finish all your website design before inviting potential members

3.Allow for a referral program

I don't know about smf but mybb has a referral program users want people to know they were initiated by them and this make things interesting

4. Insert social share button on your threads

If users are interested in your topics they share it and that invites more people on my forum if they are just two users online and I share a topic this number just skyrockets

Five and most importantly

We are in this age where we humans have grown annoyingly impatient and we don't want to waste time signing up for a website that is not popular so my advice is if you can edit registration fields

Remove some and Leave this fields Name, email, password and any verification process to block stammers and also allow users login without verifying their email that makes it a one step process and people will register more and also allow guest posting it makes them Come back and soon enough they will register

6. Make a ranking program

If you remember 2go the reason why we used it was because we wanted to go high in 2go star, if your Forum. has a ranking people would participate more

7. make a mobile friendly version of your website

In my website mentioned below when I made a mobile version my ranking on Google increased and am sure users on mobile found it easier to use
