UPDATES ON THE STUDY VISA APPOINTMENT SUSPENSION

Hello guys the suspension on Portugal 🇵🇹 Study visa appointment have been lifted, you can check the VFS website, while we wait for official notification
Meanwhile those waiting for appointment can still reachout to their schools, schools are still scheduling Visa appointment for their prospective students.
Those looking for admission, some schools are still on, while some others will open for admission application soon.
For those that want to legalize their documents for admission, you are aware that Portugal 🇵🇹 Embassy have abolish NUC follow up and verification fee applicants pay to get their documents verified and then legalize.
So when you submit your documents will me legalize within 1-2 weeks, so seize the opportunity to get your documents ready for admission application, because of the Universities in Portugal now are requesting for legalize certificate before they can offer you admission.

Appointment is released every last Monday of the month..you get one if you have strong network..but sometimes it goes beyond what you can do on your own.

You can see the difference in my own email address and his, the fraudulent guy doing this went and created email that looks similar , so you have to be careful next time.

Good evening all, we have being pushing for Portugal Embassy to start legalizing documents within 2 days after submission, it can comfirm to the house that they have finally heed to that. No NUC wahala again
Note: it is for this new method of authentication o. That's the certify true copies of your original certificate that will be legalized. This a big relief.
No more payment for verification of your certificate again.
Those of you that have being discouraged due to the delay in legalization in regards to meeting up with the admission closing deadline of the sch you want to apply to, you can proceed now.

You can write to your school, request for their assistance in getting visa appointment.
You can do 2-3 months prove of fund, though this period within 6 weeks decision on your application will be out.
You cannot go with your wife as dependent now, the law have been changed, however you can invite her over after a year.

For some of you that want to apply for Vocational school in Portugal

In this year, I hope you are aware that, you won't get RP with it, because it is one year course

Even getting visa appointment for Vocational courses now is very difficult because those schools cannot assist in doing that
submission appointment for you. You better consider other route, study route through masters or Bsc study is still the best option
There is a new tourist visa introduced by Portugal now, some of you can explore that options if you have the resources and if you also have traveling history.

Then you can use it to apply for admission, I believe it is still valid, as long as their legalization stamp is on it, it still valid.

When you authenticated in 2023, did you legalized it at the embassy as well, if not then you will started afresh because some of the directors that sign those those documents have been change. Besides Poland embassy once is above 6 months they will tell you to go back and sign the latest signature, because MOE&MOFA use to update them often.

It is now online and it will come out in form of certified true copy which you can download from your email, print in coloured then take to ministry of foreign affairs for authentication, they no longer signs or stamp sticker on your original certificates and you can upload and pay online.
The first 2 below is the Sample of the new method, why the third is the old method.

It does not work the way it is, we are in Abuja.
You will have to come for physical verification of your certificate after upload except you want someone to assist you after you upload, for it to be approved if not after you upload you will wait for months, it won't be approved, forget what was in that secular, it goes beyond that.

You don't have much issues with that, all you need is to explain to the visa officer what you have been doing in the last 11 years in your SOP and during physical interview, in terms of work experience.

You will have to upload on the portal for authentication, so you will need to get the hard copy and also you will have to submit for verification of your certificate before approval.

Your school can send to ministry of education your transcript cope and you can come to Abuja to pick it and authenticate if you want to do it yourself or someone can handle it for you.

You are not longer required to send any email from your school again.
