abhosts:U are right i agree with you, its currently mozilla, followed closely by chrome. Fayimora:I would not mind ooh, if u can post it hear for everyone, or attach it as a word.doc so we can all learn from it, because i believe webmasters will continue to face this problem, because most of us create our work with mozilla, and easily neglect IE. yawa-ti-de:IE 9 automatically comes with it, just press F12, it will bring out the HTML and CSS syntax |
@yawatide, the major change was that i had to increase the size of the gallery thumb nail pictures, but in IE it was overlapping each other, meanwhile in other browsers it was perfect, i agree IE accounts for 70% of the browser market, i just feel they need to make serious adjustments to the way they render CSS styles, but in your 6th suggestion, i tink i will try that for any future challenges, well we learn everyday |
cyclops4real:Yes i did test it in all browsers, opera, safari, mozilla and chrome, but it was just only IE that wants to fall my hand. |
I really dont get this why must IE be the bad child among many children, did a job for a client, viewed it in all browsers very oky, now i make a major change, wola IE becomes the bad child rendering my page useless, unfortunately for me, my client only uses IE, and i must fix the problem, had to spend 3 hrs figuring out where d problem was, and d problem was that i was customizing a wordpress theme, i didnt hand code it from the beggining, but thank God i prevailed. Even IE 7 is better than IE 8 and IE 9, it renders CSS better, well help me view d site (www.wataccents.com) maybe i missed one or two things is wrong before my client complains again. |

proO1:even though you get sex, u will get tired or it after a while, but the major point am trying to make is that ladies are selfish and they only think about themselves only during a relationship, to be realistic before a lady gets into a relationship wit a guy, she will ask herself wats d benefits, will i progress as a person, will all my financial burden be solved, or my sexual needs to satisfied, a lady does not go into relationship with a guy becos he is handsome, its only we dumb men that runs after a lady because she got a great ass, or breast, and not really tinking what is this woman bringing to d table, how will she contribute to my success as a person, and not come and destroy, collect ur money and ur energy and feeling good wit urself dat u are in relationship |
Please ladies and guys tell me whats the benefit of having a girlfriend, wat is the guy gaining from the relationship or you, this is how most relationships go in naija, 1. You call the girl everyday, she does not call you back, highest she flashes you, then if you dont call you are not caring. 2. Because you tell her you love her, you immediately carry all her burden, buying her this and that, you change her wardrobe, make her hair etc, when u self have a lot of burden on ur head, and if u dont do it, you are not caring, or u dont love her, and she does not spend her money on you. 3. When it comes to having sex, then she start preaching, that she is not ready, she wants to wait till she is married, or its against Gods law, or they ask you whether your luv for them is based on sex, that you dont luv them for demanding sex from them. 4. Then after managing you for some time, she dumps you and moves to another guy, or she simply play games at ur back. So please tell me, wats the benefit. If i spend all this time and money wit my guys, during my trying period they will be there for me. The best thing is wait till you are married then officially her responsibilities are yours, then u would know ur investment is secured. |

Manchester City defender Kolo Toure will be unavailable until September after being given a six-month suspension for drug offences. Centre-back Toure, an 85-cap Ivory Coast international, admitted to breaking Regulation Three of the Football Association's Doping Regulations 2010-11. The ban is back-dated to March 2, when his provisional suspension began. He will be available again from September 2. Toure, 30, returned a positive A-sample after undergoing a test in February. He allegedly took his wife's water tablets in an attempt to reduce his weight. "This has been a difficult period, and I am sad to have missed the team's triumph of securing Champions League football and the FA Cup," Toure said. "But I am relieved that I will be able to return to football in September and thank the FA's commission for their understanding." The independent regulatory commission, led by Christopher Quinlan QC, were satisfied Toure did not intend to enhance his sporting performance or mask the use of performance-enhancing substances. http://www.nigeriansportsforum.com/index.php/topic,341.0.html |

Guus Hiddink has been offered the sporting director role at Chelsea by Roman Abramovich, Goal.com can reveal. The club's current sporting director Frank Arnesen is leaving to join Hamburg at the end of the season and Chelsea owner Abramovich has been trying to convince Hiddink to become his successor for the past two months. Hiddink, 64, was a huge hit at Stamford Bridge during his temporary three-month stint at the club in 2009 – and Abramovich wants him involved as Chelsea look to respond to a disappointing campaign this season. The Russian tycoon is also reported to be ready to turn to Hiddink to take the managerial role from Carlo Ancelotti in the summer. Ancelotti is expected to leave the club following a trophyless season which has left Abramovich feeling he needs another manager to take the team forward. Hiddink, currently in charge of Turkey, has made it known that he feels he is too old to manage a leading club and feels that international management suits him at this stage in his career. The highly decorated coach is also renowned for his loyalty to his employers. He is under contract with Turkey until 2012 with the option of another two years, but it is understood that there is a break clause which allows him to leave in October should they not qualify for Euro 2012. While Abramovich faces a tough task in convincing Hiddink to return to club management, he may have more luck in persuading his good friend to take a boardroom role. The former South Korea, Netherlands and Australia boss wants his next job to be another international post or a senior executive role at one of Europe’s elite clubs. Hiddink has not given a firm answer to Abramovich's offer, which would see him take on the responsibility of scouting young players and advising on first-team transfers as Chelsea plan a major summer overhaul of their squad. Hiddink was hugely popular as short-term manager following the dismissal of Luiz Felipe Scolari in 2009, during which he continued in his job as Russia coach. During his brief reign, the Londoners finished third in the Premier League, won the FA Cup and were controversially defeated by eventual winners Barcelona in the Champions League at the semi-final stage. http://www.nigeriansportsforum.com/index.php/topic,151.0.html |

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has defended his decision to start Fernando Torres over Didier Drogba following his side's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in their Champions League quarter final second leg. The Blues crashed out of the competition and many will have questioned the wisdom behind picking the former Liverpool man, who has been in dire form since his move from Anfield for £50 million in January. Drogba's absence from the side appeared to have been proved as a mistake after the Ivorian scored an equalizer after he was brought on to replace Torres at half time, with the former Atletico Madrid man having failed to impress once again for the Blues. However, speaking following the clash, the former AC Milan boss defended what he admitted had been a difficult decision. Ancelotti said: “I put Fernando in the team because his skills and ability could be good for us. "I thought for a lot of time to take this decision whether to start with Fernando for this kind of game. "But Didier did play very well in the second half. I wanted to put more pressure up front because we needed to score and I think Didier was fresh, so he could use his power up front. "This was the reason to take out Fernando at half-time." The Italian also questioned the temperament of Ramires after the former Benfica man was red carded for two bookable offenses on Portuguese winger Nani. http://www.nigeriansportsforum.com/index.php/topic,141.0.html |

SUPER Eagles’ coach, Samson Siasia, is away to England to check out Crystal Palace’s highly rated defender Jerry Nnamani and several relatively unknown Nigerian youngsters in the lower tiers of the English League. Siasia left Nigeria on Friday to join up with his assistant, Simon Kalika, in Holland and they were expected to move to England at the weekend. Other players on Siasia’s wish list are Magnus Okunagbe from Colchester United and Tom Adeyemi of Bradford City. Nnamani, 19, is a strapping central defender who has already been compared to Eagles’ former skipper, Uche Okechukwu. London-based scout, Omobolaji Oyegunle, who is collaborating with Siasia on his week-long working visit, told MTNfootball.com: “Nnamani plays for Crystal Palace and he has already been compared with former Eagles skipper, Uche Okechukwu. “He has Okechukwu’s physique, a good stopper and also good in aerial balls. The player is being sought after by several Premier League clubs here in England and his rating soars everyday.” http://www.nigeriansportsforum.com/index.php/topic,130.0.html |
"We have done really well until now. We had three big disappointments in one week, but we are second in the league - is that a scandal? It is important that we finish as strongly as possible." And he said he would not waver as long as everyone at the club kept pushing for honours. "As long as the team is second in the league and the whole club is down (disappointed with that) then I am ready to sign for the next 20 years and stand up for that," Wenger said. "If someone is better than you at the end of the season you have to accept it and get on with it. But I'm up for the fight, and want to win every single game. Every point is important now." http://www.nigeriansportsforum.com/index.php/topic,110.0.html |

Former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez could be set for a shock return to the Premier League - as Aston Villa manager. Ironically, the man who he would replace at Villa Park, Gerard Houllier, is also a former manager at Anfield, but the Frenchman has not flourished with the Birmingham team. Houllier recently admitted that his team are in a relegation battle, and having spent just a solitary season outside of the top flight in over 35 years, this is far below the expectations of Aston Villa fans. Indeed, in the last three seasons they have finished 6th in the Premier League, and Villa fans no doubt hoped that with the big money signing of Darren Bent in January they would shoot up the table to continue that trend. However, should Rafa Benitez join Aston Villa he will have a real job on convincing Ashley Young to stay at the club. |
