Popular Instagram comedienne and actress, Lizzy Jay Adebola, aka Omo Ibadan, has alleged that one Nollywood director sexually harassed her. The comedienne said the yet to be identified director also molests and have sexual intercourse with most of his proteges. @iamlizzyjay made the claims while reacting to Pretty Mike’s claims that popular music/ video directors ClarencePeters and UnlimitedLA are womanizers who take advantage of vixens. However, Omo Ibadan said an “elder” advised her to let the matter rest adding that the director’s conscience will deal with him till she is ready to expose his identity. Omo Ibadan who was apparently pissed off further took to her Insta stories to say “I laugh and play with people as much as I can because I know that my other side can be brutal.” Read her posts; “This is the same way I want to call out one Nollywood director, who sexually harassed me and at the same time sleeping with most of his proteges/sexually harass them too… But an elder said, “you don’t need it” … “I dey wait the day wey my father craze go enter me and I go destroy all the tables … “But till then, let me allow his conscience deal with him… The way women are being sexualised in this industry is alarming… Awon werey gbogbo.” Meanwhile, one IG user identified as @shupor saidn “@iamlizzyjay you should call him out. Another user @siloambali03, urged her to speak out saying @iamlizzyjay then you not helping other girls. break this table by calling out the name so Iya alamala can use the table for firewood Source: https://wuzupnigeria.com/lizzy-jay-aka-omo-ibadan-threatens-to-expose-nollywood-director-who-sexually-harassed-her/

I felt like sinking into the ground. I hastily said goodbye to my worried friends and ran home. I couldn’t believe it. How could Chevron say no to me? This bid was destined for me to win. I was meant to be the Alexander the Great of Africa oil & gas and barely into my thirties. The captivating story of Paddy Adenuga, son of billionaire business mogul, Dr. Mike Adenuga is what can be described as engaging and educative. In a lengthy statement on Africa Archives, Paddy described his ambition to become Alexander the Great of Africa’s oil & gas without the influence of his father and family. The trending story has captivated his reader’s mind as he painstakingly transferred every emotion into words. Paddy’s story gave a detailed description of his zest to win the Chevron Netherlands bid with the help of his mentor and his team. He said his drive was borne out of being the son of a Bull and finding his own path as a Lion. AFC Bournemouth 2 – 1 Brighton & Hove Albion Defoe has scored in 17 different Premier League seasons, with only three players scoring in more – Frank Lampard (18), Paul Scholes (19) and Ryan Giggs (21). Crystal Palace 0 – 1 Southampton Crystal Palace have failed to score in six consecutive league games for the first since January 1995 (a run of nine), with three different managers taking charge during this run (Sam Allardyce, Frank de Boer and Roy Hodgson). Huddersfield Town 1 – 1 Leicester City Since their return to the top-flight in 2014/15, Leicester City have won 25 penalties, scoring 19 of them, only Manchester City (26 taken, 20 scored) can better them on both counts. Liverpool 1 – 1 Burnley These were the first points Burnley earned in a league match at Anfield since a 1-0 win in September 1974 – they’d lost their previous four in a row before today. Newcastle United 2 – 1 Stoke City Newcastle have won three consecutive top-flight games for the first time since November 2014. Watford 0 – 6 Manchester City This was Watford’s heaviest ever defeat in the English top-flight. West Bromwich Albion 0 – 0 West Ham United Gareth Barry equalled Ryan Giggs’ Premier League record of 632 appearances in the competition. Barry also become the first player to start 600 games in the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur 0 – 0 Swansea City Mauricio Pochettino’s side failed to score for the first time in 30 Premier League home games, since a 0-1 defeat against Leicester in January 2016. Chelsea 0 – 0 Arsenal Arsenal have not won away at a ‘big six’ club in the Premier League since January 2015 (2-0 at Man City). Manchester United 4 – 0 Everton Lukaku has scored five goals in his first five Premier League appearances for Manchester United, a record matched only by Louis Saha and Robin van Persie. English Premier league Week 5 will kick off with AFC Bournemouth hosting Brighton & Hove Albion at the Dean Court stadium on Friday by 20:00pm. This week will continue from where it stopped from Week 4, with mouth watering clashes between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stanford Bridge. Manchester United will also welcome the return of there former club captain back to Old Trafford who returned back to Everton this transfer window, and has two goals already this season. We take a deep look into all the Premier League week 5 fixtures. AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion Kick Off: Friday 15th, 20:00 Brighton beat West Bromwich Albion last Saturday to move onto four points, while Bournemouth have gone down to four defeats out of four. This is the first meeting between these two coastal clubs since April 2015, but there won’t be a long wait until the next match, as they face each other again in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. Bournemouth sits at the bottom of the table, while Brighton sits on the 14th position of the Premier league table. Last 5 games Head to Head AFC Bournemouth – 3 wins Brighton & Hove Albion – nil Draw – 2 draws Crystal Palace vs Southampton Kick off: Saturday 16th, 12:30 Crystal Palace sacked Frank de Boer after suffering four defeats in a row, with no win, they sit, second to bottom on the EPL Table. Roy Hodgson was appointed as the new Manager of Crystal Palace and he has the task of lifting the team from the bottom. “It is very rewarding to find myself here now, in different times, as the Palace manager at a club that I have always loved and admired with a huge potential. We are the club of south London, with an enormously large fan base. The ambitions here are realistic and there is an enormous potential for growth and I hope we can achieve our goals. If they loose against Southampton this weekend without a goal, they will become the first club in top-flight history to lose their opening five league games without scoring a single goal. Southampton also suffered defeat at home in the hands of Watford, so they will look to bounce back against crystal palace. They sit at the 13th position of the EPL Table. Last 5 games Head to Head Crystal Palace – 2 wins Southampton – 3 wins draws – nil Huddersfield Town vs Leicester City Kick off: Saturday 16th, 15:00 Huddersfield’s unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign came to an end with a 2-0 defeat away at West Ham. The Terriers had kept clean sheets in their first three matches of the season, picking up seven points from their opening four games, but could not avoid defeat in the hands of West ham. They sit on the 6th position of the league Leicester lost 3 of their four games so far, while winning the other. But there is little to panic as those defeats came against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester united. Meanwhile, the lone win came at home against the newly promoted Brighton. They sit currently on the 17th position, but am sure not for long. Last 5 games Head to Head Huddersfield Town – 1 win Leicester City – 3 wins Draw – 1 draw Liverpool vs Burnley Kick off: Saturday 16th, 15:00 Jurgen Klopp will be hoping his side can bounce back from last weekend’s devastating 5 – 0 loss at Manchester City, after they followed that up with a frustrating 2-2 Champions League draw against Sevilla in midweek. The return of Philippe Coutinho to the Reds’ line-up could be also be the difference to push for the win. Sadio Mane’s red card appeal was also rejected, and he will surely be missed. Burnley come into this one the fresher of the two sides, with no midweek matches. They are also coming from the back of a 1 – nil over Crystal Palace and they sit on the 7th position of the table, 2 positions ahead of liverpool. Last 5 games Head to Head Liverpool – 4 Burnley – 1 Draw – nil More on http://premierleaguedaily.com/english-premier-league-week-5-full-matches-preview/ |
The 10-man Reds suffered their heaviest loss of the German’s tenure when they were thumped 5-0 at the Etihad on Saturday. They were roundly beaten, Manchester City were too good for Liverpool, even before the sending off of Mane, Manchester City were asking all the right questions of Liverpool. Its back to the dressing room for Jurgen Klopp men, they will reflect on this, and feel they let themselves and the club down, by giving up easily. Chamberlain was the source of mockery on twitter earlier coming out of a back to back defeats. Here are 5 things we learnt from the Manchester City vs Liverpool Game in Week 4: Sadio Mane’s Red Card The big debate after the game was whether Mane should have received red for his challenge on the City goalkeeper. In all fairness to Sadio Mane he went off in pursuit of Joel Matip’s long pass on 37 minutes with honest intentions, and his eyes were looking nowhere but at a ball that his speed and athleticism took him within a whisker of controlling. That does not, however, absolve him of the responsibility for the safety of the advancing Ederson Moraes who took Mane’s right boot to the side of his face and looked in trouble even before he got his hands out to break his fall. The referee Jon Moss was however correct to issue a red card to Sadio Mane. Klopp reacted to the sending off saying, Mane’s challenge on Ederson was “an accident” but played down the prospect of an appeal against the red card, suggesting it “would be another waste of time, like the whole game today.” Liverpool Imploded after the Red Card Yes fine, Manchester City were leading by a goal to nil, before the sending off, but at least it was still an even contest. Sadio Mane’s first-half sending off was unquestionably the decisive moment, but it should not have been the catalyst for a Liverpool collapse. Liverpool failed to display their credentials when it comes to showing grit, tenacity and stubbornness. It is in adversity that we see the true strengths and weaknesses of the teams lining up to challenge for the Premier League title, and Liverpool have stumbled at the first hurdle. Liverpool Manager knew the performance was below standard today, He said “1-0 down with 10 men against City is really not the best place to be. It was a hard lesson today, but we have to learn how to influence the game in another direction. We have to score. We were not compact enough, we didn’t jump in midfield enough. “We cannot change luck, but we can change performance,”. Teams switching to 3 – 5 – 2 Formation Man City look so much better in a 3-5-2 formation. With Pep Guardiola spending big on two attacking full backs over the summer in Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy, this system gives them balance and allows the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva to roam free. And that they did. De Bruyne was particularly superb, grabbing wonderful assists on City’s opening two goals and then launching the attack for the third. Antonio Conte introduced to 3 – 5 – 2 formation to Chelsea after suffering defeats last season, and they went on to win the league title. Now most teams in the Premier league have now adopted the 3 – 5 – 2 formation. The South American combination Questions had been raised ahead of the new season whether or not Pep Guardiola would be able to accommodate both Aguero and Jesus in his starting XI, but today’s display suggested the pair might just have a bright future together. Aguero opened the scoring, rounding Simon Mignolet in the 24th minute to hit home his 124th league goal and cement his place in the history books as the Premier League’s all-time highest ever non-European goalscorer. The Brazilian also bagged himself a brace, with the latter notably coming a result of an Aguero assist. Two on one, the Argentine set up his South American counterpart with a selfless lay-off that suggested this could well be the early beginnings of an irresistible front-line partnership. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain found himself consigned to the bench for the opening 45 minutes of today’s clash before succumbing to a heavy defeat alongside his hapless teammates. The Liverpool new boy had said in the build-up that he left Arsenal for Anfield in the hope of reaching his potential and thriving under Klopp’s bombastic, gung-ho approach but if Saturday’s game is anything to go by, he looks to have arrived two weeks late. By the time he entered the fray in the second half, Liverpool’s cause was all-but lost. As expected, the Englishman added very little to the game as he struggled to assert his authority from a central position in the Liverpool team. Given the circumstances of the match, Oxlade-Chamberlain was always going to be fighting a losing battle but this was a stark reminder that the grass ain’t always greener on the other side. With the 2017/2018 Premier league on the way, the premier league top scorers for this season are already of the mark with Sadio Mané and Romelu Lukaku with 3 goals each, followed closely by Álvaro Morata with 2 goals. They will draw inspiration from the top premier league scorers, and try to break their record. Only Wayne Rooney and Jermain Defoe has a chance to improve on their overall goal tally in the premier league history. Here we look at the all time top 10 premier league scorers. 1. Alan Shearer – 260 Goals He was the first player to reach 200 Premier League goals mark, and only player to score 100 goals for two clubs. He played for Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United. 2. Wayne Rooney – 200 Goals He recently broke Manchester United club record by becoming Manchester United’s greatest goalscorer of all time with 253 goals for Manchester United surpassing Sir Bobby Charlton’s total of 249 goals. He has the second highest goals in the premier league after Alan Shearer. He is England’s all-time record goalscorer with 53 Goals, he recently retired from International Football in August. He still plays for Everton. 3. Andy Cole – 187 Goals He spent six years of his career with Manchester United winning numerous trophies in the process. He formed a deadly partnership with Dwight Yorke. He played for Newcastle United, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham, Manchester City, and Portsmouth 4. Frank Lampard – 177 Goals The only midfielder in the top 10. He is the Premier League’s highest scoring midfielder of all time. He is also Chelsea’s all-time leading scorer with 211 Goals in a Chelsea Shirt. He played for West Ham United, Chelsea, and Manchester City. 5. Thierry Henry – 175 Goals He spent eight years at Arsenal where he was the club’s all-time record goalscorer with 228 goals. At international level he represented France and is also his country’s record goalscorer with 51 goals. He only played for Arsenal in the Premier league. 6. Robbie Fowler – 163 Goals A Liverpool legend, he scored a total of 183 goals for Liverpool. He was ruthlessness in front of goal and played for England 26 times, scoring 7 goals. He played for Liverpool, Leeds United and Manchester City 7. Jermain Defoe – 158 Goals He is currently playing for Bournemouth and also still features in the England National Team. A natural striker who is still going strong at 34years of age. He has played for West Ham United, Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland 8. Michael Owen – 150 Goals Owen first played for the senior England team in 1998, becoming England’s youngest player and youngest goalscorer at the time. He is a club hero in Liverpool where he helped Liverpool to win League Cups, FA Cups and UEFA Cup. He played for Liverpool, Newcastle United, Manchester United, Stoke City. 9. Les Ferdinand – 149 Goals Les Ferdinand is a former English footballer and current football coach and Director of Football at his former club Queens Park Rangers. He played for Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers 10. Teddy Sheringham – 146 Goals He holds the record as the oldest outfield player to appear in a Premier League match (40 years, 272 days) and also the oldest player to score in a Premier League match (40 years, 268 days). He is currently the Head Coach of Indian Super League team, Atlético de Kolkata. He played for Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Portsmouth and West Ham United Source: http://premierleaguedaily.com/top-10-premier-league-top-scorers/ |
Manchester United maintained their 100% record to the start of the premier league season by beating Leicester 2 – 0 at Old Trafford.Manchester United broke the deadlock through their substitutes, Marcos Rashford and Marouane Fellaini. Romeru Lukaku saw his penalty saved just before the goals. Here are the 5 things we learnt from that game against Leicester. Mourinho can influence things from the bench The team is now very functional, every player knows his role and what to do, which makes its easy for substitutes to come into the match and make a difference. This is the third time in a roll, Manchester United substitutes will come of the bench and influence the match and even score. Martial did it in the first two games, now Marcos Rashford and Marouane Fellaini did it against Leicester. Paul Pogba is an improved Player this Season Not that Paul Pogba was a bad player initially, but the price tag and lack of Pre season games affected his performance level last season. But for this season, a lot of things have gone wonderful for him, first he no longer holds the most expensive player in the world record, he now understands his club and team mates better after a full season at Manchester United, and finally the signing of Matic, has helped him to influence the play in the final third of the pitch. Manchester United look and play more confidently Last season, this game would have ended in a draw, because united attack was too slow, and only went with a cross to try to score against their opponent. But in this game, they all attacked in different ways, long range shots, crosses, short passes, direct play through the middle. They controlled the game from start to finish and hardly put a foot wrong, even after loosing the penalty, they never dropped their head, they were still pursuing the goal and they were eventually rewarded. Daley Blind is not a left full back There is a reason Mourinho still wants a left Winger to play on the left hand side of Manchester United, apart from Antonio Valencia supplying excellent crosses from the right, the left hand side could not do the same, which created an unbalanced play. Luke shaw is still not 100% fit, and we don’t know how he will perform once he gets back into the team. Daley blind is excellent defensively but going forward, he offers little attack threat, to truly compete or win the league, they need to sort out the left hand side. Romelu Lukaku still not a complete striker Romelu lukaku’s first touch may have been highlighted as a weak point, but he surely knows how to score when given the chance and opportunity, although not every chance he puts away. Lukaku is already a great player at his age and will get extremely better and deadlier as the season progresses. He reminds me of Drogba when he first came into Chelsea, his touch was not too good, and he also missed a lot of chances, but one thing they had in common, they were both fighters, rugged on the ball, hold on play for their team, and usually brings their team mates into play, something Mata and Mkhitaryan will benefit from if they stick close to him. For me personally i think its better for everyone if pay was based on project based or time duration based used on a project or service rendered. That way nobody will feel cheated, if you hire someone to come and seat down from 9am - 5pm when there is no serious job at hand, i feel its a waste of both resources. A better option would have been, lets work out something based on project basis with a time frame for delivery, you are allowed to use my office, internet and light for the project, if there are no projects on ground you dont force someone to seat down 9am - 5pm, and there is no way someone can be productive for 8hrs at a go, he will burn out. Thats my personal opinion. |

Having a fantastic Web design is not enough for your Website to be successful, depending on what your goals are. It may be to get a new client or increase your overall brand value, but there are some certain things that must be present in your website, which you must demand from your Web design firm. Your Website must be Responsive This is no brainer, over 50% traffic you will get to your website, will come from the mobile device. NCC puts internet penetration at over 88million, and more than half have internet enabled phone. So if your website is not being viewed on the mobile then you are missing out on a large number of your clients. You can also easily test if your website is responsive from a web tool, or just browse your website from a phone or a tablet, to know the experience. Basic SEO The number one place you can get traffic from is usually google, because that’s the number one place, most people go to in search of information. If your website is not SEO friendly then you are missing out on a large number of clients. Check your competitors and see how they rank on your desired keyword. Site Speed Your website must be extremely fast to open, an average site must open within 10secs on a normal bandwidth, and the moment it takes longer, your clients may not be patient enough and moves on to another website. You must avoid the use of flash on your website, although it may be fanciful, but it slows down the website, the most successful websites don’t use flash, just plain text and images Good Site Presentation Your website must be designed and presented in a nice way, that it will be appealing for your clients to stay longer and do business with you. Use of colors must blend with your brand, text font must be large enough for people to read, and great navigational system, so your clients can easily find their way around your website. Get a Great Content Great content always bring traffic to your website, you can always have a blog attached to your website to share great contents, to help with your Google ranking and so show people you are a specialist in your field. It does not matter what your line of business is, you can always have a blog attached to share content relating to your field. Get on Social Media Your website must also be present in strategic social media channels that can increase your visibility. Once again no matter your industry you can still take advantage of social media, Google plus, Face book, Youtube and twitter will help spread your brand faster. Track your Success You must install a tool on your website to track your success; you must know your daily or monthly visitors and know where they are coming from, and how they are interacting with your website. This will give you great insights into what you need to do more, in order to be successful Source: http://blog.webworksng.com/ |
@OP Please OP, the problem with us in this part of Nigeria is always the fear of the unknown, thats why we blacks were enslaved for so long, because we got used to our masters, same thing with a job. Any job that is not fulfilling you inside should not be managed or tolerated, please tell your friend to quit after a full month's pay, to either get creative and try something new, or look for a job that will fulfill him, it may take time, even some great tough times, but he will get there. Short story i had a friend who is a chartered accountant, got a 40k job, got fed up, left after some months, stayed back 4months, got another job, for 50k left after 2months, same reason, stayed 6months, got another job paying 70k, salary was not paid after 2months, due to company issue, left there, got another one after 2months for 70k, while went for an interview, where he rejected a boring job with good pay, but after 4 months in this job, he got a great offer over 150k with car, now he is currently there enjoying himself, and expanding his career. Moral of the story, he was not afraid to take risk now, to enjoy in the future, life is too short to be afraid, dont wake up when you are 50yrs with nothing but bills with no employable skill, you will regret not taking action when you were younger. |
