Health › Tips For Coping With The Current Heat Wave by Freemasonry(op): 3:28pm On Jan 08, 2021 |
You may have noticed recently that the heat of the day and the night has become unbearably high.
Even the harmattan season that usually comes around at this time is taking an extended break.
According to experts, this is due to the heat waves resulting from the emission of greenhouse gases. The Meteorological Agency warns us to prepare for warmer days and nights.
This preparation will require smart coping strategies and engaging in climate resilient practices to deal with the situation.
The common effects of heat waves on humans are dehydration which can lead to unconsciousness or death, chicken pox, heat rash, and psychological stress.
To mitigate the adverse impact of the prevailing inclement weather condition, experts advise the following:
1. Drink more water to stay hydrated. 2. Keep a bottle of water with you to remind you to take water. 3. Avoid alcoholic and caffeinated beverages during this time. 4. Reduce the consumption of protein-rich foods (eg red meats) as they increase metabolic heat. 5. Feed on fresh fruits and vegetables that are better options. 6. Monitor your blood pressure to make sure it is normal. 7. Stay indoors between 12pm and 3pm each day as much as possible. 8. Take baths of cold water before going to bed at night.
Although these tips may seem very simple, however; they are very effective and will certainly help you deal with the heat wave.
Kindly share. |

Poloyanabo2: Ishilove is no longer a Mod, And to the topic, yes you can link them to your NIN but only if they were registered and fingerprinted by you.
But 8 sims ? what are you into? Lolz...most times these things are gotten either to take advantage of special offers and promos, then they end up sticking around for longer than planned, then next thing friends and family has them or they get used for an important registration. So it’s not always for the wrong reasons. Like me I got 6, and I’m straight. |

modaink333: Lies from the pit of hell.
She don't because Catholic Church especially in Nigeria is strongly against Feminist and Feminism. ....look at efulefu saying when she finds a progressive Catholic Church outside the country, she will attend... Like the basilica in Rome and France I guess...
So the progressive Catholic Churches just sprang out from the tin air i guess?
Please, who is supplying weed for this feminist?
In Catholic, It's a tradition for "communicants" not all attendees to fast before mass due to the reception of the Holy Eucharistic, except for the sick and elderly. Thats what this feminist see as a problem...shes just a pergan in disguise, she absolutely knows nothing about the faith, norms and tradition of the Catholic Church. even if am not to partake in the reception of the Holy Eucharistic, I find it difficult to eat before going to mass.
Book no dey again to write, na chasing clout now be her priority Uncle calm down. Let’s face it, mass these days are no longer spiritually uplifting, the number of offerings for all kinds of things is alarming, and one wonders where all the donations go to. Apart from the early morning masses, every other mass takes up to 4-5 hours, with 70% of the time dedicated to fundraising or thanksgiving. It has to change a bit to allow the essence of religion seep in. |

ChevKing: Hello Mr. AUTHOR. This your article is one sided. Your examples are rather insufficient and inadequate to make such a conclusion about 'the street's ' disposition towards rich kids. May I pull you down the memory lane, this same industry has had people like Charly Boy, Ikechuckwu, JJC, NAETO C, D Banj, just to mention a few who had a fair background before foray into music nobody came for their neck or had issues with them, look Mr.Author, the game has evolved from just a game for the street to a mega hustle ground for all cadre. However, just like every field of practice, you must show respect and honour those who have been in the game, it's a competition for fame and acceptance which money can buy to an extent, you don't on the basis of that spit on everyone's face. Honour and respect those who have paid their dues in the game through hardworking. Everybody can't just be saying saying same thing about you all the time, you need to check your self, mature and grow. Thanks for your contribution. |

lexy2014: When u made these comments, what did u imply?:
"Instead of hating divert that energy into making money so your kids won’t be just like you."
"I’m working really hard at what I do, can you say the same for yourself?"
I haven't defended anything neither have I condemned anything. U can check my first response to u& see what it was I responded to. D only thing I have pointed and consistently do is d fact that u are what u are condemning. Ur words only show that u aren't in anyway better than d people u are say u trying to correct. So far, u haven't proved otherwise. U are trying to sound self righteous but it only exposes ur frailties more& more Lolz So it’s no longer about who made me a spokesperson for the rich? I guess that part is done and dusted. To answer your questions: 1. If people like you used equal energy to make money then your kids will most likely think differently...that’s the truth, and you really should try it. 2. You questioned my background and I honestly answered that I was not born rich but getting there by dint of hard work, and I asked if you could say the same about yourself. Mind you, this way a question directed at you not everyone else as you’re desperately trying to twist it. All you would have done is simply answer yes or no. I hate to say this but your cognitive abilities leaves much to be desired. It clearly shows that your mind is a wire mesh that catches only what it can and leaves the rest to slip through. To stop you from wallowing further in your delusion, I’ll have you know that I’m not what I condemn, I don’t indulge in mindless and impulsive hatred like you and your ilk, and I’m neither self-righteous nor a saint. Your cynical and extremely lame attempts to pick holes in my piece without constructively refuting what I said, except for a load of mumbo-jumbo is a testament to that. |

lexy2014: How is people's opinion about rich kids a societal ill? Kindly explain.
According to u:
"Even you can pick on any subject that interests you and lend your voice to it even though it doesn’t affect you"
That's exactly what d people u are condemning have done. They picked a subject of interest& lent their voice to it. Once again, u have shown that u don't even no how to defend ur self righteous campaign. Instead, u are contradicting urself at every turn.
What exactly is noble about what u are doing? Am yet to see it. Is it by concluding that others aren't working hard because they say things about rich kids which u don't agree with? Is that ur idea of being noble?
Like I said earlier, u have succeeded in showing that u are what u are condemning. It's like pointing one finger of accusation at others but your own four are pointing back at u for d offense. So take out d big fat log of wood from your eyes b4 u can see d speck of dust lodged in d other person's eyes. Ur self righteous can't make d world a better place Even you can pick on any subject that interests you and lend your voice to it even though it doesn’t affect you”
That's exactly what d people u are condemning have done. They picked a subject of interest& lent their voice to itSeriously !!! With the way you’re vociferously defending hating, I can only assume that you’re the number one hater of rich kids, hence the guilt-complex this article has given you...I can only imagine how badly you slept vainly trying to convince yourself that hating is a beautiful thing. Get a life dude. And please can you show me where I said that others are not working hard? Or you’re just fishing for attention? |
Celebrities › Re: The Misguided Hate On Nigerian Rich Kids - Opinion by Freemasonry(op): 9:45am On Dec 31, 2020 |
lexy2014: D question I asked u is simple, who made u an advocate and mouthpiece for rich kids? If u say u are "working really hard at what u do", what makes u think that d people u are condemning aren't working hard at what they do?
Is there anywhere I told u to hate rich people? Did we at any time have any discussion about what I transmit to my children?
Based on these, who is now a warped mind? Isnt this another clear example of u exhibiting d traits u say u are trying to correct in others? I didn’t realize anyone needed a special license or authorization to speak out against societal ills. Even you can pick on any subject that interests you and lend your voice to it even though it doesn’t affect you, and that’s how we can collectively create a better world for us all. But sadly you’re not cut out for such noble virtues, your mind is wired to antagonize anything you don’t fully understand. Your twisted worldview won’t let you be reasonable and you’re irredeemably incorrigible. So with that said I give up on trying to make you reasonable. But I pray you find your epiphany soon. Shallom. |

lexy2014: Dude, since u aren't a rich mans kid& u say u aren't spewing hate, who now commissioned u to be their mouthpiece or defense attorney?
According to u:
"Instead of hating divert that energy into making money so your kids won’t be just like you."
Instead of spending time defending rich men's kids, y not "divert that energy into making money so your kids won't just be like you".
Isn't that u becoming what u are condemning? Lolz... Dude seriously!!! So according to you only a rich kid can speak for them, while a poor kid defends other poor kids? Such a warped mind. I’m not going to hate rich people okay. That I wasn’t born rich doesn’t mean that my kids will be born poor. I’m on that journey to wealth and the purpose of this article is to stop people like you from transmitting this hateful jealousy to their children so that we can end this cycle of hate. I’m working really hard at what I do, can you say the same for yourself? |
Celebrities › Re: The Misguided Hate On Nigerian Rich Kids - Opinion by Freemasonry(op): 9:09am On Dec 31, 2020 |
BRATISLAVA: Why do you want to change your words, to seem a likeable person? Is it because you can see that most people here already hate you for talking down on them?
That would explain the attitude of majority of people towards rich people. The rub it in their poor faces attitude. The same way you feel upset is the way they feel upset that anyone would think they're better than them.
Not that I support them, because I've received major hate from jealous people I've never even spoken to before, even people who should be serving one due to their jobs, for no other reason than looking and being better off than them, as if it's ones fault! People will scratch your car on purpose because they think you think you are rich, and they are worse off, so why not scratch that car since you think you're better than them? I've heard that conversation before and it is chilling what people can do. But they never spoke to you to know that! They just assumed!
Jealousy is dangerous, and that's why poor people are best avoided. They can kill over things they will never understand or possess. You got it all wrong my friend. I’m just someone who doesn’t find it difficult to say sorry for peace to reign. I’m not trying to get anyone to like me...nobody here even knows me so their disposition towards me really doesn’t matter. I felt obliged to edit it because the purpose of the article was never to offend anyone, but to start a conversation on the subject, and perhaps provoke an introspective mind-change. Any other notions you may have formed outside of the one stated above are a figment of your overactive imagination. |

lexy2014: There's nothing to elaborate. It's very straightforward:
Are u a rich persons kid? If u aren't, then u have become what u are condemning & it's obvious u need d advice u are goving much more than d peeps u are giving it to If you must know I not a rich man’s son but I did experience something like this growing up just because my father built a storey building in the 70’s. The folks in my small village were literally green with envy even though my folks were barely comfortable. As to becoming what I’m condemning, I wonder where you got such a crazy idea - nothing could be farther from the truth. I’m not spewing hate upandan, I’m all about entrenching a kumbaya social culture. |

Their was talk about few years ago that Drake shouldn’t rap about the streets because he’s not really from the streets. But he’s been winning awards and bigger than most people who claim to come from the streets!
I even believe the Nigerian situation is better. Most of the kids from wealthy families have one time or the other involved in governance and have stolen huge amounts of money. Have you seen anyone call out Innoson’s children? Or kids whose fathers we all know their sources of income?
Davido- Adeleke family Dj Cuppy- Otedola family Etc These families stole our money and built up all the wealth you are talking about from our collective wealth and subjected our people to poverty.
I’m not trying to make a case for HATE, but cut our people some slack abeg
