Candidlady:You're gradually becoming obsessed with the EAST. Everything to you must be viewed from the lenses of an ethnic bigot. See you, see hypertension oo. |
Hi good people of nairaland. I'm considering going into waste recycling business, specifically waterproof materials and plastics. So I'm looking at building a plant for the business. I would appreciate if anyone who has some experience in setting up this kind of facility to give me a few pointers. I'd like to know stuff like the types of machinery involved, manpower, power supply needs and budget estimates to help me prepare. I brought this here because I know that this forum has the best minds in all areas of human endeavor, and I have no doubt I'll get valuable input from here. Thanks in anticipation. |
No be one of those TB Joshua boys? Nice to see someone is stepping in the late man of God's shoes. |
If he never paid her dowry, then she was never his wife in the traditional sense. In some Igbo cultures, it is the man who pays the dowry that inherits the children of an irresponsible man. No offense, but it is what it is. This is supposed to teach guys who just bring in a woman without doing right by them and their customs. |
E be like say time don reach wey be say if Nigeria realize money from their foreign trades and investments, them go just kuku share am give everybody. Because I no understand squandering our billions on white-elephant projects that will only massage one person's ego, and end up being abandoned. Meanwhile, hungry dey wire me and my countrymen. |
Children of hate will always give everything ethnic colouration. The number of Yoruba herbal medicine practioners is negligible compared to the Anambrarians in the state, so assuming such a stupid thought crossed the heads of the government, their citizens would be worst hit. But the tribal bigots won't consider this. Anyways, I hope the whole policy is in the best interest of Nigerians, anything short of that is an aberration. |
Asari did not wait for Tinubu to authorize him before he stormed Abuja with his touts to disrupt the NLCs protest. So, why is the coward now seeking permission to go and fight Niger? Abeg let the loudmouth go and disgrace himself. His deadbody will not even come back, let alone himself. He think say na by empty braggadocio. |
Are they fighting for prayers? Ayam not understanding 😆 |
Onlinefarmstore:It's actually Paikoro. That's the LGA where the NYSC camp in the state is. Spent some time in some of the places you just mentioned about 10 years ago. |
donphilopus:That's a good reason not to screen him. The man has no regard for the national assembly beyond ratifying his nomination. Once he's invited to explain something, he'll insult them by refusing to appear before then to clarify. If the national assembly cannot find ways to make political appointees respect them, then they don't deserve any respect. Keyamo's disrespect needs to be addressed. |
I hope Nigeriens are smart enough not to trade one dictatorship for another. They're pledging allegiance to Moscow and the Kremlin, after sacking France. I hope Nigeria is not goaded into hostilities with Niger shaa, coz it won't be in our best interest. What the situation requires is a political solution, not military action. |
TemplarLandry:Imagine this nonsense man oo! He has the time and energy to be posting rubbish after spearheading corruption in the aviation sector. Such a fraudulent man should be hiding his ugly face in shame somewhere. |
IconicR:People are allowed to be stupid once in a while, but you're abusing the privilege. Perhaps Obi also sponsored him to Aso rock to meet Tinubu. Rubbish! |
I've been lucky with women. All the beautiful souls I dated were always eager to assist, na me dey always run coz of the stories I've about women not being genuinely generous, but Greek gifters. No offense, dear women. It's a mind-fu_ck I picked along the way. |
I think it's more prevalent in Africa due to our age-long traditions of patriarchy and polygamy. |
Thanks everyone for your responses. As was expected, I got useful advice and a bit of cruise. Even the cynics and wackos had a great time. That's what I'd call an inclusive conversation. Regarding the problem I narrated earlier, I am pleased to inform y'all that the bank has responded to my emails, and resolved the situation. Apparently, it's their standard policy to temporarily block/withhold funds that exceed prior single lodgements to the account. They said the CBN sent a mail that caused my account to deflect, until I provide proof of transaction. I did and the matter was quickly resolved. So, it wasn't a flash or a beep as some said, I'm glad I had not taken any hard stance against the sender coz that might have ruined business relations. Thank you |
Good morning nairalanders. I'm in a bit of a quandary, so I figured this community is the best place to get practical advice for my present challenge. I'm a Nigerian in the diaspora and I occasionally send cars down to Nigeria for sale. On Friday 28th July at about 4:35pm WAT, someone I know from home paid for two of the cars and made a transfer of 10 million naira into my Polaris bank account. The transfer was from an access bank account. I received the credit alert, then I logged into my bank app and saw the money sitting pretty. Transaction confirmed, I authorized my contact in Nigeria to release the vehicles to him. But about an hour or so later when I wanted to send money from that account to someone else, the money was no longer there. I have emailed their customer service desk, no response. And I'm not in the country to physically visit my bank to know the problem. The sender maintains that he sent the money and did not receive a reversal. So you can understand my confusion and frustration. If anyone here has had similar experience or knows how to handle this sort of situation remotely, do please let me know in the comments section. Thank you in advance. |
VOsimhen144:Over correct 💯 Currently, one banny just dey flood my messenger and Whatsapp with unsolicited photos. Both normal and x-rated. |
Some people will see a thread that they clearly lack the aptitude or maturity to contribute to, instead of sitting out the conversation, they'll jump in with their bad energy and cynicism. If you don't have anything meaningful to say to OP, please, let the guy breet! Op, talk to your woman and calmly make her understand that her folks are frustrating you. Make it clear that you love her very much but cannot marry her without her family's blessing. Then let her know that you can only do so much, and no more. Let her tackle their obstinacy. I'm sure by the time she gives them some serious heat , they'll remove all the silly stumbling blocks. Like someone also said, you can involve your parents as a last resort. If they don't budge, move on. Perhaps, it's for the best. |
I think this lady poured her heart into these words, and I do wish that her hopes of finding a real sweetheart comes true. |
Senior man, you still get muscle 💪 for hand oo! |
E be like say some of these churchpreneurs dey this thread oo. Notice how they're rising in defense of their criminal enterprise. Christ wasn't extorting anyone during his earthly ministry. But these chaps are all about the paper. Their emotional and spiritual blackmail is also topnotch. Op, I think I agree with the suggestion to starve her of funds for a little while, let's see if her spiritual fathers will water her as she has watered them. Remember, this is meant to be a short time experiment. |
FreeStuffsNG:You didn't hear the part she said she dated Iyanya for a while, but had to leave him because she was reliably informed that Tonto was visiting him and sleeping over at his house sometimes? So he gave her the medicine 💊💉 he sang about. |
The fact that you needed to make this clarification is already a self-indictment. The guilty are afraid. |
Sorrynovex:You mentioned he sold his house to fund their scholarship. Bro, forget. That man dey try. I no know about other boys oo, but these happy boys are ingrates. |
I'm Igbo, and I support Emefiele's sack and arrest. He's a criminal. Those ohaneze people are mad! |
Woke is clearly inebriated from consuming enormous amounts of 40 year old whiskey. |
FFK is an unrefined, and very useful idiot with a false claim to relevance. His propensity for employing foul language, and uncouth behavior to bully others is perhaps the only reason why people hire him to do their hatchet jobs. The man is such a waste of his Cambridge education. Besides teaching him how to string words together for vitriolic effect, it did nothing to improve his character. Just so we're clear, the NLC has always been consistent in it's demands on the conditions within which the union would accept subsidy removal. The NLC position is common knowledge and reflects the yearnings of Nigerian workers. The idea is to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal, so that citizens will not suffer too much. That's the truth. And even if it was Peter Obi who removed subsidy without meeting those conditions, the labor unions would still kick. So, for anyone to try to blackmail the NLC in the manner FFK did is not only disingenuous, but plain evil. Nigeria and Nigerians shall be great again. Long live the NLC! |
Unless you're a vegetarian, you really have no moral right to condem Hilda or anyone for eating dog meat, or any other meat for that matter. Even if you were a vegetarian, you might still want to let everyone else eat what they like, coz some can also argue that the vegetables you feed on have feelings, and family relations that will suffer when you eat one of them. So, make una free the girl. P |
Nigerian politicians and personal vendetta is like 5&6. I'm not a Gandollar fan, but oga should focus on governance. |
NzogbuNzogbu:I'll not join issues with someone who spells "leper" as "leaper", and "peers" as "pairs". You clearly need to "employ your brain" more than I do. Peace, out! |
