You still wallow in ignorance and geographically bereft. Enugu is not Anambra , maybe Lagos would be called envy box when GEJ visits since it has way too many fools like you in it. CSI= Cant Stand Idiots
Can't you see that it's jealousy that is worrying them ?

As an Anambarien I feel very insulted that my beloved state is being compared to a state Like Ekiti.

Even after Enugu our old capital city was made a state, Anambra still remained a shining star among it's neighbors.

How many states has cities like Nnewi, Awka, Onitsha. Haba ABOKI.

where are my Anambariens sef!!

I'm all for development of Nigeria, but building a center like that in the North is a waste of money. That center will be burned down by those useless animals in the next riots. That center should be build in the East biko.

It's good to see my brothers and sisters just socializing, I used to be an active member on Niraland, but in the past few months now it seems like the only HOT topics on NL are Igbo vs Yoruba threads. I most admit I never used to join in in those kinds of conversations but after seating back and watching some ppl talk trash about Igbos, I've opened my big mouth and said some mean things too sad

I'm impressed with Awka, they are really representing cheesy

Of course my village creates strong warriors.

Now tell us about your village. Do you all create such beautiful Igbo women?

We have Aro communities in Anambra state as well.
My village is just the typical Igbo village with it's share of village champions grin You have to travel to my village during the Christmas festivities, that's when most people go home, any orther time it's boring as hell. As for beautiful girls, they are so many that men from neighboring towns would come to our village for a wife.

You seem like a nice guy, when you ready for you know what, let me know and I'll hook you up. I have some HOT cousins here grin grin

Abam were known for their head hunting skills.

The Ohafia war dance is the most well known. I have Ohafian blood running through my veins as well, but I am considered an Aro Igbo. My father was a mix of Ohafia and Aro.
OMG!! can you do the dance shocked shocked those guys were all muscles I tell you,I was so impressed.

Abiriba people are very similar to us, but we are not the same. They were part of the Aro Confederacy as well as the people of Ohafia.

Abiriba, Abam and Ohafia were the foot soldiers of the Aro people.
Thanks for the info MaziUche, I'll go impress my cousins with this info and try to sound smart like I know what I'm talking about grin.

Do you people also carry  human skulls in a basket for the war dance. Last year we had a dance group come here to Dallas to the Nigerian Independence party my folks took us to.

Nonsense.

After 1,021 posts, you are "now in the mood" to socialize with your people. Question, are you really Igbo? If so, what about Ahoada folks? And Delta North Senatorial District?

This is what this thread is going to end up as, and no one will remember your village.
Are we fighting shocked shocked shocked, I could be in the mood for just about anything I want. The last time I checked it was STILL a free country. Who is to say I'm not going to be in the mood for a chocolate chip cookie in the next min. grin

Don't make this a fighting thread bro, tell me about where you from too and all is welcome to the thread.

So you havnt seen those already lengthy threads on NAIRALAND?

i.e. True Extent of, ?

You as an Igbo should have more serious things to discuss on here. Very soon, if GEJ discovers that folks from Ogbonike were part of the "blast" then wetin u wan do?
What lengthy threads ? huh I'm in the mood to socialize with my people right now, leave the seriousness for later pls.

I've always wondered where most Igbos on Niraland are from. I'm from Ogbonike in Anambra state, anyone here heard of my little town. Hopefully one day we could connect people from the same villages in Igboland and have are own little facebook on Niaraland grin

So after 24 hours of the military taken over the Enyimba city Aba, they are still unable to find the kids and deal with the kidnappers? This shows really how Igbos are strong militarily,is a shame on the military,24 whole hours and small boys are beating them silly. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
I think you watched a lot of Rambo movies growing up.If it was that easy to find where the kidnappers are hiding those kid, what makes you think the won't have raided it.

udezue:
Good for Enugu. I can't wait to land in Enugu from US. 042!!!!

Onitsha International Airport? If the HWYs are fixed upgraded u can make it to Enugu in less than 30 minutes to catch your flight. What Onitsha needs is a SeaPort. Asaba already has an Airport and its next door to Onitsha.
A seaport in Onitsha would be nice, but the cost to build one would be so high that an airport would make more sense. The Niger bridge has to come down and a higher bridge build so ships and pass under, then the river has to be dredged, I don't think Nigerian Government would want to invest so much in Onitsha.
