TravelRe: Ethiopian Airline Making Record Sales From Enugu International Airport by Freewilly(f): 2:50am On Aug 29, 2013
Lagosbabe1: I marvel at the reasoning of some of the posters here. So you are declaring Enugu International Airport a success after a few days of operations? Is this what they teach in accounting and economics classes in the SE? I would have imagined that the viability and success of the airport as a business venture will be determined by the traffic performance in the medium -long term i.e, 5-20 years undecided

Folks are rejoicing because Ethopian Airline flew 150 passengers on one journey? Do you guys have rudimentary knowledge of Cost-Benefit Analyses or how Airlines determine their profit margins from particular destinations? Instead of coming here to bless GEJ who is using the SE to his political advantage, you should work hard at making the airport sustainable and profitable in the long run- remember it is a business at the end of the day.

In summary, this thread will become relevant in a year or 2, when we can all make a verifiable determination of the success of the Enugu Airport or otherwise. Quit being emotional and dont count your chickens before they are hatched.

P.S. Additionally, it is imperative that you sensitize young men from the SE to avoid giving the airport a reputational damage by engaging in drug smuggling from the airport as this will severely restrict the progress of the airport- genuine and friendly advise.
I'll do all my Igbo brothers and sisters a huge favor and summarize this nonsense post in two words so you'll don't waste your time reading it.

BAD BELLE!!!

I'm sooooooo surprised the OP has not committed suicide yet. It must be really heart wrenching to see Enugu taking off so fast.Couple of years ago the OP and his cronies here laughing and making fun of the old Enugu departure sign.

Oh well it's just a matter of time before Enugu becomes a major hub in West Africa then Lagos will crumble, I'm just so happy next year when we travel home we won't be going through that filth called Lagos.

re@lchange:
lol i was thinking the exact same thing.
all south east/far east asia flights are igbo dominated too
american flights are heavily igbo laden as well.
Like I said the op is just talking trash and has never traveled out of his village.

Last year I was on a Flight from SFO to FRA to Nigeria and most of the Nigerians on those flights where Igbos going home

for the Christmas Holiday. And even when we got to Nigeria we could not even get flights from Abuja to Enugu because they

where all booked in advance.
PoliticsRe: Why Enugu Airport May Not Be Profitable by Freewilly(f): 10:49pm On Aug 09, 2013
It's very obvious the op has never traveled out of Nigeria before.

90% of the passengers traveling from Amsterdam,London or Frankfort to Nigeria are Igbos going for the holidays.

If we had a direct flight from those two major hubs to Enugu trust me Lagos and Abuja Airports will

crumble in less than a couple of year.

their fat hungry mosquitoes that demand rent.

I refuse to be associated with you people.
Yet you take one home to your house and the smell from her glory hole scared you away LOL!!!

At least now you know their women stink so I thrust you'll never make the same mistake again.

eaglechild: I really feel for Yorubas.
For a hardworking and focused group of people to come to the nations former capital and develop it, taking up all the choice areas and leaving the slums for them.
It think that really sucks.
I mean the type that will make u want to reach out for a bottle of rat poison and put yourself out of misery like the custom dictates.
I guess the major disturbance is that tout-ism is fast becoming obsolete and giving way to more acceptable sources of income and they can't compete.
I really wonder why they gloat over other people's hard work in a country's capital albeit former.

I wonder why no other portion of their land is developed.
I mean why is adoekiti desolate and ibadan a pitiable scenery of dilapidated rusted brown roofs begging for civilisation.
Why is Oshougbo gripped by the tenets of a false native religion.

How come only Lagos saw the 'light'?
Could it be that a progressive group of people found it humane to develop and share their forward thinking nature.
I hope what happened to most of Africa when the Europeans left will not happen to Lagos.
I pray the buildings will not stagnate and turn rusty like the buildings their true native towns.
I hope their nothern masters will not turn every street corner into minarets like Ilorin.

Whatever happens the property of the progressives which are in the majority will not be touched.
Why do you think the soooo jealous of us Igbos.

dangiwa09: When Obasanjo was president, the only people he could trust to run the country were Igbos (Andy Uba, Charles Soludo, Oby Ezekwesili, Mr. Nweke, Okonjo Iweala etc), it was for a reason. The only people he could trust are Igbos, the only people he knew that'll work hard and honestly, and produce results were igbos, he knew yorubas are more interested in free money without work, in making loud and empty noise, in fornicating. He tried bode George, well, we know how that ended, lets not talk about how bola ige ended up. Yorubas are known world-wide for making noise, owambe, fornication, beating their women, incest etc. They're the wimps of Africa, no courage, no backbone, no principle, even opc leaders are now dinning with Al Mustapha.

FILEBE: Any body wey say Lagos is not a Yoruba state dey Craze for head! Why dont u just say the truth na for once? Forget that lagos is tolerant enough to have an igbo name as a street but which local govt has got an igbo name? Reading you guys post sickens me! It reminds me that somepeople are backstabbers and ingrates. I 'm so sure that if an eastern state were like lagos, we hearing them say: NA WE GET IMO, Na Ibos get Anambra.. And so...
History has it that Lagos is a yoruba land. Let my ibo frnds acknowledge that plsss. We are not chasing anybody out of Lagos.we are just trying to make lagos m
ore habitable. Chukwudi, Izuchukwu are still my bossom friends anytime.. Anyday!
Thank you.
You have mouth to talk now after the igbos developed your state for you. Anyways it's not your fault, if land and property can be picked up and moved you won't be here talking.

This thread should not even be news, anyone who thinks the op is bluffing should please come to Jos between DEC 19 and January 5 and drive down Amadu Bellow way and see if you can find anything to buy.

Most if not all the shops are closed because they Igbo are gone. Just imagine if all or most of they Igbos leave Jos tomorrow, that city would crumble in less than 48 hours.

Afam4eva: Humans are emotional creatures and it's understandable. We've not been asking if all the bad news we read on daily basis is true but we accept them and vent our frustration. Why should this one be different. Because it involves the Lagos state government?

@topic
I've said and will keep saying it, as long as Lagos remains a part of NIgeria then it has no constitutional right to deport any citizen of Nigeria. Lagos is not a country but a state that makes up the federation. If they're tired of being part of NIgeria then they're free to ask for independence.
True talk my brother, I seem to be liking you more and more these days Afam.

Qelvin: those Yorubas are cursed bastards,we sh.it on them here in the US and they know they cannot even close to us,dirty fu.cktards who indulge in all sorts of criminality ranging from internet scams and they are some very garrulous bunch of noise-makers,Igbos sure dominate them in all spheres of life imaginable.
Tell me about it, I have a couple of them at my job. I hate everything about those stinky people.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Dumps Beggars, Homeless In Onitsha by Freewilly(f): 2:09am On Jul 25, 2013
Nonsense!!! I don't blame them, if not for the Igbos Lagos would still be so backward like the rest of the western states. If Lagos wants to deport Igbos fine go ahead like Onlytruth already mentioned, we tried to leave Nigeria before but you'll came into our land and killed defenseless women and children just for us to be part of your Nigeria.
