Again, you think presidency is a matter for academics and lecturers who should be reading their long thesis within the walls of Universities and places of higher learning? It is not about knowing the theory and being able to read long dissertations to the public. It is about being able to actualise what will change people’s lives for the better!
American Presidents like…Donald Trump (aged 75) and Joe Biden (aged 79) do not have the energy of marathon runners but they have not wrecked America ….but you think you know better than the Americans who choose to rely more on “experience and wisdom” from their elderly leaders? It is not about running around because you have the energy to be here, there and everywhere……it is about knowing what to do and being able to fire people up (motivate the citizenry) to do what needs to be done. At the end of the day, it’s the people themselves that make their Nations great…..they just need wise leaders to give them direction….such wise leadership is not the exclusive preserve of the Youth but is more abundant among the mature and those ripened by age!!

You underestimate the powers of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. In 2007 Odili was on his way to clinching PDP ticket unopposed as he had settled everybody like Tinubu is doing now. Obasanjo woke up just weeks to the primaries and endorsed Yar Adua who had never signified interest in running for the office, you know how it went, the party had to toe the direction of the President and abandoned Odili project. Now u are even dealing with a Fulani man as President, calculative and does not damn the consequences. So not yet Uhuru for any aspirant in APC, Buhari and his cabal to which Tinubu is sadly not a member will decide who clinches APC ticket while anyone who wishes to oppose the President from within his own party may have some dossiers from EFCC to battle with, its that easy.

It would have been incontestable in giving southeast the presidency if Nigeria is still united. But we are living in a different era. Buhari has torn the fabric of unity in this country. A common sense of even giving Easterners the post of Secretary to federal govt would have starved Nnamdi KANU of followership. Unimaginable cost is now been deployed in funding the army to keep Nigeria from disintegrating. I remember when people mourn when a soldier lose their life in fighting boko haram. Now nobody cares. Some folks even rejoice. Patriotism is now at the lowest. Of what benefit to the unity of the country in south west having both the Vice presidency and speakership?. It's not political sagacity but foolishness. Common sense is not really common.

This literally means
