Politics › Re: Jibrin Says 14 Governors And 26 State APC Chairmen Are In Support Of Tinubu by fregeneh(m): 10:22pm On Feb 04, 2022 |
eldoradoxx: You underestimate the powers of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. In 2007 Odili was on his way to clinching PDP ticket unopposed as he had settled everybody like Tinubu is doing now. Obasanjo woke up just weeks to the primaries and endorsed Yar Adua who had never signified interest in running for the office, you know how it went, the party had to toe the direction of the President and abandoned Odili project. Now u are even dealing with a Fulani man as President, calculative and does not damn the consequences. So not yet Uhuru for any aspirant in APC, Buhari and his cabal to which Tinubu is sadly not a member will decide who clinches APC ticket while anyone who wishes to oppose the President from within his own party may have some dossiers from EFCC to battle with, its that easy. Odili was just fooling himself then, there was no chance whatsoever for an odili from south to clinch presidency after obasanjo two term another southerner. |

GEEBITE: The Maryland building is Kresta Laurel Complex belonging to Gbenga Daniel who Afenifere chiefs mandated to bankroll his election as Tinubu returned from exile broke. Tinubu becoming Governor motivated OGD to take shot at his home state of Ogun and he won too in 2003. I have never heard Daniel say publicly he financed Tinubu's election. That is the stuff of class. Do you mean tinubu sponsored OGD against his colleague gov OSOBA? |

onez: It would have been incontestable in giving southeast the presidency if Nigeria is still united. But we are living in a different era. Buhari has torn the fabric of unity in this country. A common sense of even giving Easterners the post of Secretary to federal govt would have starved Nnamdi KANU of followership. Unimaginable cost is now been deployed in funding the army to keep Nigeria from disintegrating. I remember when people mourn when a soldier lose their life in fighting boko haram. Now nobody cares. Some folks even rejoice. Patriotism is now at the lowest. Of what benefit to the unity of the country in south west having both the Vice presidency and speakership?. It's not political sagacity but foolishness. Common sense is not really common. In the first republic both the president, Senate President and house of rep speaker are all from south east sire/ma'am |

Do you realize that the north gave awo more votes compered to what Yoruba gave shagari? Even though I prefer osibanjo but no one will defeat tinubu if he wins APC ticket. Keep hatred aside and try to be objective for once So AWOLOWO was a tribalist? Wonderful. |

princdebola201: Buhari drop a clue on who will succeed him in his interview but you all missed it because you re all fixated on him dropping names and region of his successor.
He said "" i don't want to appear in court after my tenure""
This literally means
1)I buhari will never hand you over to opposition party,i will rather rig for my party so that i can rest in daura.
2) only core APC members will succeed me. he won't like the situation where npdp hijack the national assembly in his first tenure, or situation where npdp defect with the apc mandate after buhari tenure. Npdp members in APC should not dream of the ticket.
3) he praised gbaja, and lawan this literally means both of them re going to retain their seat because they protected his interest and he can trust them enough not to come home after leaving power, shopping for a new candidate for their position will unsettle the party and might fell into wrongs hands like his first term.
4) who re the core members of APC .they belong to ACN and CPC faction of the party
5) the interview literally killed any conspiracy theories that might likely spring of from media houses on road to 2023 No they can't retain their respective positions (gbaja/lawan) presidency& SP is coming to south while VP/speaker going to the north. |

So what gibberish rudiments are you on about? Sanwo olu said he, the IGP, the commissioner have all come to an understanding.... So why then should a mere police officer answer to a common lawyer more than the COC If truly sanwo_olu and the IGP,the commissioner have to an understanding why did he (sanwo) have to go there why didn't him wait for the IGP himself to reverse the order? |

LLiKYekoba: Then play the same game, there will be two Igbos on both major tickets, vote the one that is not Igbo's preferred candidate. Are you no longer the 'sophisticated' yoruba? In 99" yoruba had a party which is AD they fielded a yoruba man IBO's and north had theirs (PDP) they fielded their trusted ally obasanjo and the most popular candidate won, presently yoruba/north have a party (APC) they've resolve to field a yoruba man, ibos/north have theirs as well (PDP) if any IBO man is serious to become president in 2023 they should get the ticket of their party (PDP) and let the best candidate win,IBO's has no right to request for the ticket a party (APC) which is not theirs. |

richiemcgold: fielding atiku in 2019 was a big mistake that should not be repeated by pdp again in 2023. There are so many qualified presidential candidates from the south which the two major parties can present to Nigeria - - APC has osinbajo, amaechi, tinubu et al. PDP can present the likes of okonjo iweala, femi adeshina or obi. They (PDP) presented atiku in 2019 because it wad the turn of the north in 2015/2019. |

kettykings: What revenue does Lagos generate?
The vat generated in Lagos is because of consumption of other Nigerians who because of lopsided federal structure came to live in Lagos, the income tax paid by oil companies were got from the same Niger Delta. The money from the banks came from the big banks owned majorly by Niger Delta, the Telco money from mtn came from Nigerians all over the country using mtn. Lagos has no natural resources or human capital or tech capital , the imports coming into Lagos could have come elsewhere from Niger Delta ports if not for lopsided federalism. The imports is majorly by Igbos and the north Eyaah!!!! A big sorry to you |
