The question is ...why did Obj seized Lagos State Allocation (which was later released during Gov Fashola's regime any way )? Tinubu if I could remember unilaterally created additional Local Govts Area without regards to the Nigerian Constitution. Other Gov even in PDP did same and they were asked to reverse their decision bc it was against the Nations Constitution. But Tinubu refused entirely. Lagos State later went to Court to challenge Obj & the matter was resolved politically to LCDA. Incidentally, the current VP was the Attorney General in Lagos State then. Can any State Gov do the same today under PMB & PYB draconian rule? Be the best judge.

No Yoruba is silently disappointed by the visit. The Yoruba culture is different from the Ibos. If OUK had visited Tinubu, it would not have amounted to anything to the Yorubas. When OUK just came out of prison, Gbajamila (Speaker of House of Reps) visited him twice, the IBO youths said he was sent by Tinubu to beg him because he was the person that plotted his incarceration. You can see thinking. They never knew how he came out of prison. Now, EFCC had appealed the High Court Judgement that freed him. Tinubu has been in Abuja receiving visitors and he has travelled to Kano for other assignments.

Visiting OUK for discussions for over two hours is not a big deal with EFCC case, APC's regular woeful performance in the South East , IPOBS / KANU issues and 2023 Presidency. The last Anambra election is a pointer that APC does not have any chance in the South East.

The BROOM in APC's Logo is a symbol of Tinubu's courage, resilience and intellect. Visiting a member is a worthy sacrifice . It is only a people or person looking for recognition or under depression that read meaning to such visit. It is such people that have their egos boosted by such visit

I remembered in 2002 when OUK was a governor of Abia State, he said PDP should not allow Obasanjo to do second time to prevent the Yorubas from recovery and consolidation. In the First atttempt the Military Cooks,Clerks and Technicians that Ogundipe had quickly assembled were Ambushed near the Airport and 30 of them were Killed also killed were 2 European Citizens

At the 2nd attempt Gen Ogundipe sent Gowon to engage with the Coup plotters and get them to surrender but Gowon was Captured as a hostage by them and after 2 days they made him their new Leader and head of State


All the Eastern Officers who were battalion Commanders with Troops and Artillery had fled for their lives to the East and Completely abandoned Gen Ogundipe

So with what exactly did they expect Ogundipe to fight with since Ironsi their kinsman had diligently made sure that Ogundipe had no fighting Infantry Troop formations under him that he could Command since almost all the Battalions were Commanded by Easterners and the remaining 2 were Commanded by Northerners of which the Commander at Ibadan was ambig part of the Coup and Shuwa in fat away Kano was already dealing with the Mutiny in Kano ?

If Fayemi is proving smart, I think it’s time Asiwaju caucus bring in Fayose and some loyal APC guys up in Ekiti to show Fayemi that he is nothing. All hands must be on deck.
