Politics › Re: Traders, Shop Owners In Desa Ibeju Lekki Evicted By Lagos State Government by fregeneh(m): 2:40pm On Jan 27, 2024 |
tollyboy5: As a native of Epe, I will urge people buying lands and setting up businesses to be very careful of what they're doing because it seems there's a blueprint for economic development of the Epe division of Lagos which is the largest division in Lagos state.
Before you make any investment do your proper findings, and government should try create alternatives for people also, so the can continue their trade.
Note: The people of Epe division are not like your normal bales you see in Lagos, we don't tolerate rubbish here and we're very strict. Thank you what make them/you dif from the rest? |

DMerciful: This is a political move, only a discerning mind can see it. You think the northern elites are foolish?
When Tinubu move key sectors he can move to Lagos, he'll begin to talk of restructuring. If there's restructuring with resource control, where do you think the funds from CBN and FAAN would go? Lagos! TRASH!!! |
Politics › Re: N800b Budget: "Take no further step" - Court To Fubara, Rivers Assembly by fregeneh(m): 4:09pm On Jan 23, 2024 |
Madeade: Fubara should concentrate on delivering good governance to the citizens.... He has to double up efforts in this regards so that he can win the hearts of the masses.... If the citizens are on his side irrespective of whatever party, then he can ultimately win...
Same happened with Fashola and Tinubu... Fashola did so well to the admiration of everyone including the opposition party, PDP such that people so much liked him irrespective of his issues with Asiwaju. PDP wished the feud would go on unresolved so that they can welcome fashola in their party and present him for a second term...
And I tell you, Fashola would still have won his second term without the support of Tinubu because everyone already loved him and they saw the good works he did... why didn`t oposition invite ambode and win with him? |

africandollar: I thought his father was Yoruba?
He should speedily change his surname from Adetokunbo to whatever is mother's maiden name was... abi what sort of tomfoolery is this ke? You dey bear Yoruba surname come dey propagate only Igbo language? Why do women like confusing their children like this? You can't even allow the children to do something in the memory of their late father despite all he suffered to bring up these kids with you?
The man don die since and now you are the only one enjoying the wealth of your children yet you are angry when they tried to learn their father's language and preferred them learning yours instead? The man is no longer alive yet you are still competing with him, no be juju be that?
The least you could have done is support them in learning both languages...abi no be one Nigeria again? thier father is late? |

azzima: ALL the major tribes in Nigeria.......Fact!!!
We northerners , our culture has a lot of Arabic influence.....in our dressings ,greetings etc. Because of Islam.
In SS, look at the names, and mode of dressings, it is heavily influenced by the Catholic Europeans. See how they put cufflings, Bowler Hats and neck ties on their attires.
In SE, look at their first names , mostly English. Look at their Head warmers, it is meant for Winter/Cold Season which has no relation to the South Eastern Climate at all.....this is very european!
In SW, look at their Aso oke, Aso Ebi, their Abetiaja cap[I hope I am correct with the spelling,I am not Yoruba lol]. EVEN in faraway Brazil and Cuba, they STILL wear Yoruba attires for occasions.
I have soooo much respect for Yoruba Culture and its unique Authenticity.......It is not adulterated or watered down like the others even yoruba dressing sef were influenced by northerner _FACT |
